About: Previously I’ve had 2 years of professional dog handling experience from working at dog daycare and boarding facilities. Every day, I would spend hours playing with pups of all different ages, breeds, and sizes. I worked hard to make sure they were fed (and medicated if needed), hand feeding them and sitting down with them if they were too anxious to eat in a new environment. I cared for at least 30 dogs a day, sometimes up to 60. All of them hold a special place in my heart, and I still remember over 200 names. There, I was taught the proper ways to handle and walk dogs. I was also trained on CPR in case of emergencies. Every dog I met had a different personality, so I had to learn from experience how to handle each and every one of them differently. Additionally, I own two cats and have knowledge in basic feline first aid, including CPR. I’ve also raised two litters of kittens in the past, from birth to when they became 2-3 months old. It would be an honor if you decide to choose me to care of your pet, cat or dog, it’s something that I greatly enjoy doing. No matter how big, small, rough, excited, or grumpy your pet is, I would love to care for them. No accommodation is too difficult for me. I’m currently in school at LSU with morning classes, so I’m only available to work past 3PM on weekdays. Most weekends, I’ll be available all day. Being a multiple dog household I cannot board any dog with same sex aggression, human aggression, or idiopathic aggression, and reactive dogs will be a case by case basis, However, being a trainer I am more than open to help families work through these issues. Please let me know of any medical conditions or allergies! I like to use treats when working with dogs, so I recommend bringing some yummy high value treats so their tummy doesn’t get upset! About: I have taken care of dogs and cats on a consistent basis ever since I was 15 years old, maybe even earlier. I have experience in administering medicine and taking care of senior dogs and cats. I am open to house sitting, dog walking, and daily check ins. If needed I’m able to provide references from several families at my church who I have taken care of their animals many times over the years. I prefer to stay at your home to house sit as I know your dog will be in a familiar place with all of their toys and food I can easily crate your dog in your home and make sure that to gates are closed when your dog is let outside. About: I have loved animals ever since I was in elementary. I have had 5 Dogs, from a German Shepard to a little Yorkie Poodle mix. Currently I have 2 Guinea Pigs and 2 Leopard Geckos and a beautiful cat named karma. Family members and friends have asked me to look after their fur babies for days and entrusted them with me. I give my all when watching the fur babies and treat it as if they were mine. :) I am currently a full time college student, I am studying marine biology and plan to use that degree to go to a veterinarian School. While I may have classes in the morning and late afternoon, I have plenty of time to look after the beautiful fur babies you trust me with. When first entering an environment, it's important to take a mental note of any hazards that could be a danger to the animal. Any hazards being, loose metal wires they could chew, or foods that may be dangerous to them. Examining a new environment is also important. Always making sure to not have any allowed guests inside the customers house is very important part of great service as well, to instill that trust that the client has put in you for their furry loved one!
