She also has a Toy Chihuahua named Paco and they became like "three peas in a pod!” My drop-off day was very hectic and behind schedule due to me preparing to go out of town, but Ms.Elena was pleasant and patient with me. When we arrived to her home, we were welcomed into a beautiful, clean space with Southern Hospitality galore! During the stay she emailed me updates along with pics and videos of their playtime. Once I arrived home she offered to meet me at a convenient location to drop-off my baby, that she now calls “her baby”, since we lived a bit of a distance from one another. Sooo sweet...but that's not the best part. When I received Jeaux he had been bathed, his bed and towel washed and she even sent him home with his favorite toy from the visit! If you stay here with me, I will be happy to share my yard and all my favorite sleeping spots with you! My house is quiet, with the occasional howls from my human that she calls “singing”. She loves listening to music, gardening, playing games, making art and taking walks around the neighborhood. 🤎, Walter (the dog) I am currently working part-time. On days I am open for boarding, I will never be gone more than a couple hours at a time. All dogs will be separated in their own cozy rooms if we leave the home. No dogs will ever be left alone or unattended outdoors. My home is secure and fully fenced. I have a screened in back porch, too. You’ll find me in the back yard often; I love to garden. Inside we have the ability to close off rooms and general areas, in case your pup wants some personal space. I allow dogs in most rooms of the house and they have the ability to sleep where they feel most comfortable. I want this to be a peaceful, zen like experience for your pet. I will not board more than 2 dogs at any one time to make sure I am giving your pup enough quality time in a quiet environment.

About: I have have been caring of all types of animals since I was 7+ years old. I have taken care of new born puppies, kittens, raccoons and reptiles of all types throughout my life and I love it!! About: I was always the one to take care of our families dogs while growing up, so I have a lot of experience! Smaller dogs, bigger dogs, senior dogs…does not matter to me! I am currently ending an Americorps term so I have all the time in the world to play with your pups! I also always appreciate a daily dose of serotonin :) I always make sure there are clear instructions or specifics provided by the client when watching their pups if necessary! I'm retired now and travel extensively for part of the year, so I'm unable to have pets of my own and thought this would be a great way to keep busy while I am in town. I have a doggy door and a large, gated backyard for games of fetch or hide and seek. I will provide a safe, loving home while you are away or drop-in if you so choose. When I'm in NOLA, I often work part-time from home. I'm retired so you could call me a homebody, and I'm often found working in my garden. In the fourth quarter of the year, I do travel until thanksgiving but will keep my calendar here updated. I am relatively flexible with scheduling. My son recently moved and took his Boston Terrier with him, so there are no longer any pets in my home. I have a large, fenced yard perfect for games of hide-and-seek or fetch, and I'm often in the back as well working on my garden. I do not have any plants that would present a danger. I love to take long, daily walks on the levee, which is only two blocks away...and would love to bring your pet along! I often have family visit, who also love pets.

Currently, I’m a college student. I can’t do Mondays from 2 to 5 but other than that I can do any day at any time I’d rather stay away from nighttime services for my safety. I’m available some weekends before 3pm and during the week days I am in school so I have more free time on my hands from working. I have had dogs and cats in my life. My last pet was a female Siamese Cat her name was Nala and I had dog named Bacchus years before her and some one stole them both.
