“We went on an extended vacation for over one month. Our Golden Doodle Prince is part of our family. In the past, we put him in a couple of different kennels with mixed results, but never felt comfortable. This vacation we left him with Kirsten. We received photos everyday. Prince was loved, walked, and cared for by her entire family. When we used kennels in the past, it would take Prince several days to get back to normal. After over a month with Kirsten, similar to summer camp for kids, we brought Prince home and he was his normal self. Thank you Kirsten for taking such good care of Prince.”

About: I am an experienced dog watcher, I worked in a vet hospital as a kennel tech and managed puppy playgroups with 50 plus dogs. As well as managed the boarding and grooming stations for almost 2 years. My background is in Biology I got my B.S in 2015 and my Bachelors in Nursing in 2019. I have a large fenced in back yard with a little pool for the dogs. Boarding will be inside. I have an in-home camera system and 4 separate boarding rooms. If you prefer, I can come to you! About: I grew up on a farm, had lots of dogs, cats, and all sorts of other animals to care for. As an adult, I’ve had quite a few cats, and I’m the current owner of three small dogs. I am currently working from home. Travel once a month. So I have plenty of time to check on the babies, play with them outside, and give them occasional treats. I have a fenced in yard that is designed for small dogs, a large dog would likely jump over. But it works great for the small dogs, plenty of shade, plenty of grass. And in the house, I have an abundance of pet beds, and blankies.
About: Cute storyyy: I was on the back road home in Bush and happen to see something very tiny, but also a huge lifted truck that hurried and stopped. I didn’t know what it was. I just know it was tiny and seemed like it didn’t know what to do or where to go so I saved it. Poor baby, it was a black kitten with a white cross on her chest, and her eyes weren’t opened yet. I don’t think she even knew what she was because next thing you know she’s on my shoulder, the smallest little parrot ever! Well Nova is what I had named her, and I can say I’m beyond thankful for our family friend that took her in, spoiling her, and giving her not just an amazing home but the best older fur sibling and family! Nova is definitely something special!💜

We have a free roaming environment at home with lots of backyard fetch and other games but can-do crate if you need. i dont like the idea of leaving my dog in the boarding day cares available because my dog doesnt feel comfortable and i dont either so i give a free home like environment with the air conditioned always running and me always availble at home. We offer boarding and daytime playgroups in a secure, home-based setting with the amenities you’d expect from a large boarding facility, but with the comfort, attention, and personal care of a private home. Our farmhouse sits on a securely fenced acre, giving dogs room to safely play, explore, decompress, and enjoy their stay. Dogs are truly life here. In addition to boarding and training, I serve as the Program Director of a New Orleans-based dog rescue specializing in high-medical-need dogs. Because of that, I’m very comfortable administering medications, injections, fluids, specialty diets, and handling dogs who need extra patience or experience. I also have trusted veterinarians on speed dial should anything urgent ever come up. I have extensive experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities—from feral strays and high-drive working breeds to seniors, puppies, tiny Poodles, nervous dogs, and everything in between. Baths, light grooming, crate routines, structured play, and special care instructions are all no problem. About: I grew up on a farm, had lots of dogs, cats, and all sorts of other animals to care for. As an adult, I’ve had quite a few cats, and I’m the current owner of three small dogs. I am currently working from home. Travel once a month. So I have plenty of time to check on the babies, play with them outside, and give them occasional treats. I have a fenced in yard that is designed for small dogs, a large dog would likely jump over. But it works great for the small dogs, plenty of shade, plenty of grass. And in the house, I have an abundance of pet beds, and blankies.

About: I’ve always adored pets since I was young. I’ve had many in my life from cats,dogs,and rodents. I know animals are equal beings that need treatment with special accommodations. This requires patience which is almost unlimited for me.i currently have three cats that I’ve owned since they were 3-4 months old they’re now 6. I just got rats a few weeks ago they’re girls 6-8 months old. I believe everything follows a routine dedicated to them and I have no issue aligning myself to these routines. I’m still finishing high school at the moment and I have a job. But besides managing those I’m available weekdays after 4 if I’m not scheduled to work, weekends any time I keep my babies inside as much as possible. They’re allowed to free roam outside since they’re used to that lifestyle from before. They wear flee collars, jam is allergic. I cleanse them with daily grooming and anima safe wipes or soap if necessary. They’re fed 2-3 a day with half a cup or less of cat food I do plan to change their diets eventually. When it comes to other people’s pets I treat them with nothing but love and care and always stay considerate of whatever the owner says I should know about that animal. I’m extremely against cruelty brand products so I will avoid associating or using them.

At bed time I put on relaxing music for the dogs to calm down & sleep, heating pads for cold nights, lots of blankets & beds. Any of their comfort items I would suggest bring with them. I do live in a new trailer, lots of room for your babies to roam & play! non smoker. I have experience with large dogs to small dogs, senior dogs & ones with bad anxiety or kennel aggressive ect. I also have experience with birds, especially parrots. I know how to handle in any situation when it comes to different behaviors from animals. I am also pit bull friendly 💕 The babies I board/doggy daycare have FREE ROAM. Which means they can go as they please anywhere in my home, they can sleep with me or they can sleep on the couches or their beds, but If you prefer your baby in a kennel at night, I will respect your wishes. I only have one kennel designated just for that.. You will receive lots of pictures/videos & updates to the point where it may be a little annoying but you’ll never have to text me first checking on them. I give them lots of love! I stay home everyday with the babies, so they will get all of the attention they need. The night before pick up/drop offs, I do give them a bath, each one no matter what. I can pick your dog up or drop them off, I have never had an issues with any dogs fighting, running off or accidents. I am VERY experienced in RUNNERS, the ones who wait for you to open the door to escape. Never had a runner succeed in getting away. I can clip your babies nails & give them a little trim if need be free of charge. If your dog needs medication I can administer it to them at the times needed. Prozac, prednisone, insulin, antibiotics ect, I’m familiar with all. I can manage 5 at a time ( leashed ) I do have a fenced in yard with a doggy pool, it’s covered & has pet turf. Lots of room for your baby to play!! This is what I do for a living! I eat breathe & sleep doggies. I stay home full time & when I say full time it’s me & the pups home everyday. About: I am an experienced dog watcher, I worked in a vet hospital as a kennel tech and managed puppy playgroups with 50 plus dogs. As well as managed the boarding and grooming stations for almost 2 years. My background is in Biology I got my B.S in 2015 and my Bachelors in Nursing in 2019. I have a large fenced in back yard with a little pool for the dogs. Boarding will be inside. I have an in-home camera system and 4 separate boarding rooms. If you prefer, I can come to you!
