About: My family has owned dogs since I was 3 years old. I have taken care of animals of all kinds, including big, little, and elder dogs, cats, rabbits, and chickens. I adopted my own dog in July of 2025. He was a rescue from Dubach, LA and loves dogs more than people! About: I volunteer on my off time at my local dog rescue. I also have fostered many dogs in the past year for Caddo shelter and Parish Paws. I grew up around dogs and own two of my own who are always willing to play with other dogs. If there’s ever a concern of aggressive I separate the dogs when let out for potty breaks or in the house. I am taking off work for the next two months so my schedule is open minus a couple dates here and there. You can expect me home majority of my days. About: I’ve spent my entire life around animals! I’ve cared for cats, dogs, fish, lizards, birds, you name it. My dad is a veterinarian so I grew up learning about pet care, how to administer medications, the do’s and don’ts, etc. I feel so lucky to do what I love (taking care of furbabies) AND help pay for my degree😉 **My Schedule** I’m free every day of the week for house sitting and charge $45/night. I’m also free every day for drop-in visits but only charge $35/visit. I’m only available Saturday and Sunday for walks and charge $25/walk. I work 8-5 during the week, but I am able to leave for an hour during the day to check in. I’m somewhat flexible and can make schedule exceptions if necessary! **Safety** I take all animals safety very seriously! About: I know that you have many options for care. I have been working through Rover since early 2020 and would like to share some information about myself. I made the decision to take an early retirement after twenty-two years at Northwestern State University when my husband and I relocated to Shreveport and both of our children went off to college. This move gave me the opportunity to pursue a job that I ❤️ and am passionate about. I believe dogs and cats are the most awesome of Earth's creatures, and, in my eyes, are such precious members of our families. I am a long-time dog and cat owner and currently a parent to three rescued dogs. I also was an active volunteer and Board Member for Natchitoches Hope for Paws dog rescue from 2012 to 2022. During this time, I worked with 150+ rescued dogs at the site and through the foster program. I found so much pleasure and enjoyment working as a rescue volunteer and wanted to expand my love and care of these most precious of animals. As a volunteer, I cleaned kennels, administered medications, walked and played with dogs, worked with basic training techniques and leash walking, and evaluated and monitored dog behaviors and personalities for proper socialization and integration with other dogs including aggressive and high anxiety dogs. I treat all animals as if they are my own. I love all fur babies big, small, young, and old. I am available at any time and since I am retired, I am able to provide drop-in services, walks, and overnight care (for socialized and house trained dogs who are current on all shots and flea/tick preventives), including medication administration and care for aggressive and high-anxiety dogs. I have no problems with cleaning up accidents and will ensure that your home stays clean of messes. I can house train and also train dogs to do certain tricks. I'm 27 years old and own my own home with a large fenced in back yard. About: I’ve taken care of and raised small pets for as long as I can remember, but as I wasn’t able to have a dog of my own as a child, I’ve always taken every opportunity to babysit my older siblings’ and aunts’ dogs whenever they needed ever since I was 15 years old. I’ve now raised and trained my own two dogs from puppies (one is 4.5 years old and the other is 3.5 years old) and I also adopted my sister’s dog permanently, who is a senior (9.5 years old). I’m currently in nursing school, so my schedule is flexible around my classes! Since I’m in school Monday through Friday, I don’t work currently, so taking care of dogs is the only thing I do right now outside of school. And, as of right now, I am available any day of the week! I do have clinicals Monday through Wednesday, so those are the only days I am busy for more than 6 hours during the day, and wouldn’t be able to check on pups who would need more frequent care. Otherwise, I have plenty of spare time to spend helping take care of your pets! I am willing to follow any rules that you have in taking care of your fur babies in your home; I am comfortable with using crates, letting them out to play and potty at certain times, and following feeding guidelines, as well as anything else your dog needs! I have experience walking more than one dog at a time as well, up to 3! My own dogs are also very large, and tend to pull on the leash, so I can handle strong, non leash-trained dogs.

About: I’ve been caring for Dogs for the last 12 years from all kinds of breeds. I’m experienced with daily walks, feeding with their schedule, and keeping them active and happy! I am currently in the airforce, I am available between Thursday, Friday and Saturdays to spend time with your pups. About: I have had 2 golden retrievers in the last 15 years, currently a 3 year old and a previous dog that lived 10 year. I have taken care of old dogs and puppies and love all dogs! I am not working so I will be able to be at home whenever needed. I have a 8-5 job that is less than a mile from my house so I can run home for any reason. Almost never work on the weekends. About: I have 4 dogs of my own and one cat. I have cared for pets as long as I can remember. My dogs are all house trained and crate trained they also are well mannered and like other pets. I can house train and also train dogs to do certain tricks. I'm 27 years old and own my own home with a large fenced in back yard. My house has no carpet so accidental pet messes can be cleaned easily. I have my own transportation to house sit or dog walk any time I am needed. About: I volunteer on my off time at my local dog rescue. I also have fostered many dogs in the past year for Caddo shelter and Parish Paws. I grew up around dogs and own two of my own who are always willing to play with other dogs. If there’s ever a concern of aggressive I separate the dogs when let out for potty breaks or in the house. I am taking off work for the next two months so my schedule is open minus a couple dates here and there. You can expect me home majority of my days. My pets are always fed and given water through the day and let o it frequently. They enjoy playing fetch or running in the yard and going on car rides or walks.
