About: I’ve been caring for animals from a very young age, growing up on a farm where tending to a wide variety of animals was part of my everyday life. That experience gave me a strong understanding of animal behavior, responsibility, and the importance of consistent, attentive care. Over the years, I’ve become comfortable working with dogs of all ages and needs—from energetic puppies who require patience and structure, to senior dogs who benefit from a gentler, more attentive approach. I also have experience caring for dogs with medical needs and am confident in following detailed care instructions, including administering medications when needed. I’m especially mindful with anxious or shy dogs, taking the time to build trust and create a calm, reassuring environment so they feel safe and secure. I am currently working full-time less than 5 minutes from home. I feed my dogs and let them out around 7:00 am before work. My husband is home with our dogs until 2:00 pm before he leaves for work. I arrive home around 5:00 pm and I spend most of my evening in the backyard if possible. I have a fenced in yard and a basket full of toys. I have 2 dogs of my own that enjoy playing with others, so your pet is sure to be in good company.

They sent us multiple pictures and videos to keep us updated on how Rosie was doing and you could just see how much love and attention she was getting during her stay with them. Not only that, but they were so incredibly accommodating to us when the snow storm hit and our travel plans were disrupted. They even offered to have our dog stay the night before when we thought we may have had to leave earlier than expected. For pickup, they accommodated us once again, so we could pick up our dog late and then they were available when our time changed. They communicated with us so well the whole time and we are happy to have found a great dog sitter in Lafayette! We will definitely be using them again!”

About: I have had and taken care of pets of all kinds (but especially dogs) since I was very young! I’ve had experience with puppies, young dogs, and older dogs, male and female. Even now I help take care of relative’s dogs and I love it. I feed, watch, walk, and make sure they’re happy! I stay in good shape and walk / workout every day, so I am able to handle larger breeds if needed! I live near LSU lakes which is a great place for walking, I usually go around the lakes when I go for walks, so I am familiar with the area well. It’s a great experience for people and pets! I’m pretty flexible and usually available for any activities! I am going to be taking 2 online classes this summer which requires me to be home, it works out well to watch some sweet pups! I do not have any dogs or cats within my home currently. Any pet works just fine to be inside or outside! The living room, dining room, and kitchen are all fairly large open spaces and connected together.

This afforded me the opportunity to hone my instincts about what constitutes an emergency, what to do in an emergency, and, more importantly, how to prevent emergencies. Throughout my career, I have remained dedicated to pets and animal welfare. I am always seeking out opportunities for continuing education, such as attending the Humane Society’s annual animal welfare conference or completing an apprenticeship at Austin Pets Alive!, or binge-watching animal training tutorials. In my personal life, I’ve had dogs, cats, reptiles and amphibians as pets ever since I was a child. As an adult, I was privileged to adopt a special needs dog named Fizzgig, who introduced me to the rewarding experience of caring for seniors. Work from home between 10:00 AM and 6:30 PM. I am off Wednesday and Sunday. I normally take my dogs out three times a day at least but four is the regular. I care for my furry friends. Both of my dogs are rescues and i've taught them many commands. I have experience with male dogs that are not neutered as well as female dogs in heat.

About: I have had and taken care of pets of all kinds (but especially dogs) since I was very young! I’ve had experience with puppies, young dogs, and older dogs, male and female. Even now I help take care of relative’s dogs and I love it. I feed, watch, walk, and make sure they’re happy! I live near LSU lakes which is a great place for walking, I usually go around the lakes when I go for walks, so I am familiar with the area well. It’s a great experience for people and pets! The living room, dining room, and kitchen are all fairly large open spaces and connected together.
