About: I’m lucky to come from an animal family. I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life - big dogs, small dogs, old dogs, lap cats, moody cats - I’ve loved them all. Recently, my two children and I found ourselves pet free for the first time. I miss having my own full-time furry companion but I also travel regularly for work. About: I adopted my traveling friend's cat, Zara, for a year and a half before my friend moved back home during lockdown. Zara and I moved a few times in New Orleans, but she adjusted to our home perfectly once we were settled. She snuggled me everyday and was patient with me while I worked in the service industry. I have also cared for ducks, chickens, two older pigs, and a parrot while one of my friends left the city (New Orleans) for her birthday vacation. During this same week, I cared for my disabled friend's blind cat, shrimp tank, goldfish, and two neighborhood cats she tends to. Even though these friends lived on opposite parts of the city, I split my time snuggling with the furry pets and attended to all pets who had medication or special needs. About: I’ve been caring for animals my whole life, starting from rescuing strays as a kid. I have years of hands on experience with dogs and cats of all ages, including my own senior pup who was named Cici. She needed medication around the clock and caring for her taught me patience, gentle handling, and how to follow a strict care routine. I’m comfortable giving meds, understanding special needs, and making sure pets feel loved, safe, and understood. A year after Cici passed, I adopted a dog named Betty who taught me how to love again. I didn’t realize that it was possible to have more than one soul dogs. Unfortunately, she passed away from heartworms 3 months after I adopted her (she already previously had heartworms from the place I adopted her from and was on medicine). So after that, yeah I’m not doing that again haha. My heart can’t take it. However, I would love to hang out with your fur babies and give them some extra loving and hopefully mend my broken heart. I promise I’ll treat them how I would’ve treated Cici and Betty!!!! The pain of losing them was so great only because the love I had for them was even greater. And I have an abundance of love to give! I am currently not working so I have all the time in the world to take care of your pets! Every day will be a party and I’d love to have some company! In my home, pets will have a safe, clean and comfortable space with plenty of attention, playtime and plenty of snuggles. While I don’t have a fenced yard, I will make sure they get regular leashed walks, potty breaks, and supervised outdoor time. I will stick to their usual feeding schedule, keep fresh water available at all times and follow any medication or special care routines exactly.

I'm retired now and travel extensively for part of the year, so I'm unable to have pets of my own and thought this would be a great way to keep busy while I am in town. I have a doggy door and a large, gated backyard for games of fetch or hide and seek. I will provide a safe, loving home while you are away or drop-in if you so choose. When I'm in NOLA, I often work part-time from home. I'm retired so you could call me a homebody, and I'm often found working in my garden. In the fourth quarter of the year, I do travel until thanksgiving but will keep my calendar here updated. I am relatively flexible with scheduling. My son recently moved and took his Boston Terrier with him, so there are no longer any pets in my home. About: I’ve been taking care of my animals and others’ animals from a young age. I have a range of experience- with puppies and kittens, administering medication, unique personalities, special needs, and more. Whether its a high energy dog or a nervous and shy cat or anything in between, I have seen it all! I am flexible and willing to help in any way I can! Currently not boarding at the moment since I am moving into a new space soon. I can go home for lunch during the week and am free all evenings and weekends. Since I am in the process of moving to a new space, I am not boarding at the moment. I am usually available for boarding on weeknights after 4p and full days on the weekends. Your pet is my priority whether I am at your place or mine. When staying at your place, I will always try to leave it neater than when I came across it. Whether its replacing batteries in your ring camera or letting the service man come in, I am available to help you in anyway you need when something unexpected occurs while you're out. Any animals staying at my home are made to feel comfortable and safe; my home becomes their home!
About: I’ve been taking care of animals for most of my life. I love high energy animals and taking care of them. I grew up with a dog and cat I still have and care for and more recently I have been a volunteer at the Humane Society, I even ended up starting my own club of volunteers in high school. This role has equipped me with all sorts of animal care skills such as cleaning after them, bathing them, feeding them and administering medication, and making sure to provide lots of love and attention. I’ve always said that I’m not a dog or cat person when asked, but rather an animal person. I love animals and caring after them. I am a college student at Tulane University and I am currently home for the summer! I am available until June 22nd and have open availability all day every day until then. I have a fenced yard and two pets of my own that are both friendly so I am no stranger to spending time outdoors with animals or having playdates. I am more than happy to take pets to any appointments they may have and am able to administer medication if needed.

I’ve been helping our community and saving the lives of animals for about 6 years now. During my time as an officer I have taken care of so many animals from fostering them through my shelter or pet sitting through family , friends and clients. About: I’ve taken care my dogs my who life. They were always played with, well feed, taken on walks, and groomed to perfection. I love taking care and spending time with animals. I’m available some weekends before 3pm and during the week days I am in school so I have more free time on my hands from working. I have had dogs and cats in my life. My last pet was a female Siamese Cat her name was Nala and I had dog named Bacchus years before her and some one stole them both. But, they stayed with shot updates, vet updates, toys, stocked on food, treats, clothes, love and much entertainment from me. I also believe outside time is very important, it gives them a sense of calmness.

About: I’m lucky to come from an animal family. I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life - big dogs, small dogs, old dogs, lap cats, moody cats - I’ve loved them all. Recently, my two children and I found ourselves pet free for the first time. I miss having my own full-time furry companion but I also travel regularly for work. “Kenneth watched my dog nova for a day and overnight when I went to a Mardi Gras parade and I can’t be more pleased. First off it was last minute and during Mardi Gras nonetheless so it was very challenging to find someone, Kenneth made it easy and responded to my request almost immediately. I was able to drop nova off and felt like I left her in good hands. Kenneth sent me lots of videos and photos during his time with nova which was also super appreciated. And finally when I was an hour late picking her up because I lost my keys and had to wait on a locksmith, he didn’t mind.
