“Jessica is outstanding in her quality & care that she gives to the fur babies she cares for. It was our fur baby first time being away from us and I think we were both a little nervous, but Jessica went above and beyond to comfort and reassure us. She is truly one of a kind when it comes to pet care. Thank you so much Jessica. Highly recommend! 🌟⭐️🌟⭐️🌟”

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I can't recommend Desirae enough! She was incredibly easy to communicate with, had such a calm and trustworthy demeanor, and was very professional and thorough throughout Charlotte's stay. She even fit Charlotte into her schedule when she didn't have to, which I truly appreciated. She went above and beyond in every way—even giving Charlotte a bath before I picked her up! I received daily videos, prompt responses to every message and check-in, and it was obvious Charlotte was having a wonderful time. She kept her entertained, happy, and well cared for the entire stay. This was a 10/10 experience from start to finish. Knowing Charlotte was in such great hands allowed me to truly relax while I was away. I highly recommend Desirae to anyone looking for a caring, reliable, and exceptional dog sitter!”

“Michael was great with Kennebec! He’s very kind and very responsive throughout. The location is right in the French quarter so it was extremely convenient. He also updated us on the parades which was very helpful! Definitely recommend for a relaxing vacation in the French Quarter!”

“Cheryn was amazing! You could immediately tell she was really caring and passionate about dogs. Huey had a great time and we loved the great communication and pictures. Highly recommend Cheryn!”

“Aja couldn't be nicer or easier to work with. She has taken care of our dog in her home several times, and she's terrific. Accommodating, trustworthy, flexible, and send us regular updates. We're so glad we found her!”

“Regina is the best sitter we have found on Rover. She is caring and communicative, responsible and responsive. She watches one dog at a time, and we love knowing our pup is getting one-on-one care. She texts regular photos and updates, which we appreciate. Highly recommend!”

“Lynn seemed to have a similar comfort setting as me, with blankets on the couch and quiet/calmness. She has a large yard on the side that is completely fenced in and my girls LOVED it! She sent me videos and pictures. I could tell my girls were getting the attention and love they needed. Would definitely recommend!”

“Mike always goes above and beyond to take care of Koda! I always cross my fingers that he is available to watch him when I go out of town! His frequent updates, pictures, and videos always make it just a little easier to be away from him”

“Raven was very helpful with my fur baby! She sent daily updates and her and her family really seemed to take my dog in as their own. I was in a bind as my holiday plans changed at the last minute and she was very accommodating and thoughtful. I appreciate her so much!”

“I can’t say enough about the complete, loving care Randy provided my “Little Girl” (13 yo Yorkie). He kept her from Fri morning through Sunday evening, provided great pics and videos. This was only her second time on staying with a stranger - and she never missed a beat. She came back home calm and happy. Randy is her new home away from home.”

“Ashely was great! Very accommodating with drop off & pick up. Great location right next to downtown. Poppers had a blast playing with her dog. She sent pictures throughout the stay. Will be using her again!”

“Ms Evlin was veryyy attentive to our fur baby. She kept us updated with photos daily; throughout the day. Her communication was great 😊 we’re very excited and pleased to know we have someone who cares for our fur baby as much as we do. Thank youuuuu again and again Ms Evlin. You’re PAWSOME 🐾”

“We left our dog for a month long stay. He obviously enjoyed himself and didn’t want to leave Anne! Our dog pouted the whole way home and for 4 hours after that! Communication was easy.... Anne responded promptly and with pictures. We even had a problem getting him to her house and she helped by picking him up. We will definitely send him for another “stay cation“ with Anne!”

“Charlee had a great time with Ben! He sent pictures and updates every day and was flexible with scheduling, drop off and pick up times. Will definitely use again! We very much appreciate his service!”

“Highly recommend Chayanne! She did a fantastic job taking care of our Corgi for a week while we were in Nola being tourists. She updated us with pictures and took excellent care of our baby. We will definitely book again.”

“Caitlin was an amazing cat-sitter and I will definitely be requesting her services in the future! She was very responsive through the app before and during the time I was gone. She took lots of pictures and wrote nice updates each day. I had no concerns while I was gone which is always a relief. Very thankful for her professionalism and kindness.”

“Recently booked Carlie for drop-in visits for our cat during our 5-day vacation. I was worried about leaving her with a rather long to-do list, but she handled it with ease. I also enjoyed the goofy pics she took of my girl and the report card she provided after every visit. She far exceeded my expectations. Will definitely be booking with her in the future. Thank you again, Carlie! 😸”

“Adam has taken care of our beloved cat, Gonzi and stayed at our home many times over the last several years. Once again, they were a wonderful carer and sitter. It was a delight to return home to a very happy cat and a well cared for home. We highly recommend Adam to others. Thank you once again, Adam!”

“Becks was amazing and super communicative the entire time I was away! I loved all the updates and photos that were provided, really made me feel like I was right at home. I would highly recommend Becks for your cat or dog needs. Couldn't ask for anyone better!”

“Olivia was fantastic! So grateful she was available last minute when I had car troubles coming home from a trip. She was communicative and followed all instructions. Would definitely have her back!”

“First time using Rover and Renee did not disappoint. She provided great communication every day and sent pictures of each drop-in visit. Krieger can be somewhat anxious in new situations, but he took to Renee immediately. She went above expectations by taking him for a walk (which he absolutely LOVES) each time she came over. You can tell by the pictures that he was quite content. Would definitely use Renee again in the future.”
“5/5 stars, Abby is very sweet to my elderly cats and they were friendly with her - rare for them when they meet new people! Abby was communicative, took pictures of my furballs, and even brought in a package for me. Will book again!”
“Ms Victoria is amazing! Our two kittens are shy and timid. It only took till Ms Victoria's second visit for them to come out of hiding for her! That's all the testimony we need. Don't hesitate in booking her to care for your furry loved ones!”

“Always great to bring Hazel to Jessica. I never doubt or worry if Hazel is having a good time. And for spa day I never doubt that Hazel will come back clean and smelling great! Best Dog sitter my dog ever experienced!”

“Evlin took wonderful care of my Bichon, Chance. He was happy to see us at the end of the day, but he was relaxed with Evlin and her dog Juicy. She checked in with photos and texts, which made me feel better about leaving him. She totally deserves her five-star rating, and I recommend her w/o reservation.”

“Michael is awesome! He loved & pampered our two little guys (an oversized pom & a papillion). We left them with him for 6-9 hours daily while helping my daughter move to an apartment in French quarter. We collected them in the evening & they were happy, fed & tuckered out from an active day of loving. If you’re anywhere near the French quarter of NOLA, Michael’s the man! Just hope he’s available when we visit NOLA again!”

“Ashley was a true professional and made sure my dog had a well balanced day of rest, play and walking ! I am definitely planning to request more dog sitting from her!”

“It can be hard to find sitters willing to help with challenging dogs, and I have a very sweet pup who, unfortunately, has some separation anxiety that means she can’t be left home alone at this point. Julia agreed to watch her for some daycare while my husband and I attended a family birthday party, and she also was great about setting up a Meet and Greet about a week beforehand so that Sable could be introduced to Julia and her own pups. Julia sent pictures and updates while we were away, and I appreciated her honesty when I asked how Sable did. It seems as though Sable was only mildly embarrassing and didn’t put Julia through too much hassle, so I’m very grateful to have someone trustworthy and kind to leave my pup with! Thank you so much!”

“Winnie loved Emily. I was nervous with my pup being so young and tiny leaving her for daycare but EMILY made her feel right at home. This sweet lady has a heart of gold. ❤️ Winnie can’t wait hang out with her and sweet dogs again. :)”

“To say we were satisfied with the care Alyssa gave our little Max would be an understatement. We were camping in New Orleans and had events happening that would take us away from our motorhome for over 9 hours for a few days and did not think it wise to leave our small dog alone for so long so we needed to think of something. So for the first time we turned to the ROVER app. As this would be the first time we left our boy with a stranger we were very concerned but We had a meet and greet ahead of the actual dog sitting and it went so well …. we felt at ease right away with Alyssa and her own dog. Our Max and Alyssa’s Oliver hit it off right away … she is a wonderful person full of love, caring and is extremely pleasant. The second day we went to drop Max off he actually pulled me to her door and sat there waiting for her to open the door and when she did open the door he ran in as if he was home already. This experience was so wonderful. We are certain a big part of that has to do with how nice a person Alyssa is. Sending pictures throughout the days was an added bonus for us! We would highly recommend her to anyone who needs dog sitting services!”

“Oshie treated Miles like family during his visit! We received pictures of him throughout the day and we knew he was in good hands right from the start! Oshie was a lovely and gracious host all around! When we inevitably visit New Orleans again, we will definitely be reaching out again! Thank you so much!”

About: Hello! I am a New-Orleans-raised local and a dog trainer. I grew up with a houseful of pets—dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs, rabbits, fish…We literally called our home the zoo. I live with two adorable pups (my roommate’s) and many, many plants. I am looking forward to bonding with your fur babies, caring for your home, and exploring your neighborhood! I have over 15 years of experience in general pet care and 6 years in canine training. I spent a recent summer pet and housesitting full-time and continue to do so while traveling throughout the year. It has been a blast and incredibly rewarding. I am experienced and comfortable with the smallest of puppies all the way up to giant breed dogs. I enjoy patient training that joyfully engages your canine and am also skilled in leash training, a vital foundation to an adjusted pup. If you hire me, my walks will be structured and help your dog grow in communication and impulse-control. I, of course, would also love to care for your cats, small animals, and more non-traditional pets. I can disperse medication and handle a diverse range of circumstances. I work a regular job but am flexible outside around that. Monday-Thursday this is an 8-hour shift, and Friday this is a 5-hour shift. When sitting, this means I am there for your pet right before and right after a shift and flexible during most other hours and on weekends. Let’s connect and discuss your needs. I will be as attentive and engaged as you and your fur-babies need. I am experienced in reading your pet’s body language to know if they need extra engagement or other physical needs. I am happy to take your pets in my car to play at the park, join me at the cafe, or to drop off somewhere. Let me know what your pets need and we can work together to make it happen.

About: I've had pets my entire life. I'm retired now and travel extensively for part of the year, so I'm unable to have pets of my own and thought this would be a great way to keep busy while I am in town. I have a doggy door and a large, gated backyard for games of fetch or hide and seek. I will provide a safe, loving home while you are away or drop-in if you so choose. When I'm in NOLA, I often work part-time from home. I'm retired so you could call me a homebody, and I'm often found working in my garden. In the fourth quarter of the year, I do travel until thanksgiving but will keep my calendar here updated. I am relatively flexible with scheduling. My son recently moved and took his Boston Terrier with him, so there are no longer any pets in my home. I have a large, fenced yard perfect for games of hide-and-seek or fetch, and I'm often in the back as well working on my garden. I do not have any plants that would present a danger. I love to take long, daily walks on the levee, which is only two blocks away...and would love to bring your pet along! I often have family visit, who also love pets.
About: Growing up I was always surrounded by animals, giving me to ability to learn how to care, accommodate and adapt to their needs! I've taken care of a variety of different animals from reptiles and fish, to cats and dogs, from small mammals to even live stock! Pet care services is what I do for my living so my days will always be surrounded and centered around your babies, in whatever means necessary. Picture and video updates of your littles will always be shared with you and the time I spend with them is completely up to you! However much time you need to ensure your babies are receiving the love, care, and attention they need, I will be there.

I can show up on short notice and stay for extended periods if needed! My schedule for the next 2 months is extremely flexible, and I’m willing to work with your schedule as well! I have a dog and a cat of my own, so I’m very experienced caring for multiple pets in a home environment. I have a condo in Metairie a block from the levee where I can take a dog on a good walk, and my parents house in mandeville with a fenced yard where pets can safely play and get fresh air. I can easily crate your dog or cat if needed, follow any specific feeding, medication, or routine instructions, and provide plenty of love, attention, and enrichment. About: Hello there! My name is Anika and I used to be a pet caregiver on Rover a while ago when I was going through college, but decided to reactivate my account to come back on board! A little bit about myself... I received my Master's Degree from LSU and have been working in my career field for a few years now, but I still very much enjoy spending time with animals and thought that continuing with Rover was a great way to be able to spend time with animals while making an extra income on the side! I am currently working at a local hospital. Therefore, although I am newly back on Rover, I have been with Rover in the past. I am also a go-to foster and volunteer for several local rescue groups, so I have experience with all types of animals (mainly cats and dogs) and welcome all. I also often help train dogs for animal rescue organizations to get them ready for their new loving forever homes. I have also grown up with animals my whole life and my sweet beloved senior dog recently passed away; my "soul dog" as some may say. I had him for a little over 13 amazing years. However, being able to work with and volunteer with animals has really been great, which is why I definitely wanted to continue with Rover again. You can rest assure that when you leave your beloved fur babies with me that they are in great hands. I am a safe and responsible person. I am and always have been an all-around animal-lover. If your dog is a couch potato, that's fine... we can curl up and watch a movie on the couch together with some belly rubs! If your dog is more high-energy, that's fine... we can go for walks, jogs, play fetch in the yard, play with toys and more! The same goes for cats, bunnies and other types of animals; I can meet the pet client where they are at based on their personality. I have over 20 years of experience with animals from both personal and professional experience. I have experience with all types of animals of all ages ranges (from young to senior), sizes and breeds. Thank you for considering or choosing me and I hope you have a peaceful and restful 2026! I am currently working part-time in behavioral health and will soon also be working as a fitness instructor as well, but my schedule is flexible. I am currently not offering in-boarding in my home, but I offer overnight sitting in the client’s home. Your pets will be treated like family when they are with me. I adore all animals and believe in providing them with a healthy and happy environment. They will get lots of attention, toy play time, love, exercise and fun. Your furry family members will always be well supervised and cared for when they are with me.

“Dalia and her family took excellent loving care of our sweet mixed breed dog Yeti! Daily updates with pictures and videos helped us to know that Yeti was happy and being loved!”

“Regina is the best sitter we have found on Rover. She is caring and communicative, responsible and responsive. She watches one dog at a time, and we love knowing our pup is getting one-on-one care. She texts regular photos and updates, which we appreciate. Highly recommend!”

“Raven was very helpful with my fur baby! She sent daily updates and her and her family really seemed to take my dog in as their own. I was in a bind as my holiday plans changed at the last minute and she was very accommodating and thoughtful. I appreciate her so much!”

“Ashely was great! Very accommodating with drop off & pick up. Great location right next to downtown. Poppers had a blast playing with her dog. She sent pictures throughout the stay. Will be using her again!”

“Jon took amazing care for Panfila. She came back home with a wagging tail and was very happy to stay with him. Jon is very attentive and really caters to each dog individually. Look forward to leaving her with him in the future.”

“We had a fantastic experience boarding our dog Cleo with Katie!!! She was very communicative and sent us lots of updates and photos throughout the week. We knew Cleo was being loved and taken care of the entire time we were away. 10/10 experience!”
