They figure out we are going to "day care" on the way, once we turn off the highway, and from there, they get so excited they are whining and panting, they are so eager to see their friends. About: I have over 10 years of experience caring for cats and other animals. My wife and I have a passion for helping animals, and whenever we safely can, we rescue stray cats by providing food, shelter, and veterinary care until they are healthy or reunited with their owners or placed in a safe home. While I was stationed at Fort Polk, I often cared for fellow Soldiers’ cats while they were away on leave, during the holidays, or attending training.
