About: I have 4 dogs of my own and one cat. I have cared for pets as long as I can remember. My dogs are all house trained and crate trained they also are well mannered and like other pets. I can house train and also train dogs to do certain tricks. I'm 27 years old and own my own home with a large fenced in back yard. My house has no carpet so accidental pet messes can be cleaned easily. I have my own transportation to house sit or dog walk any time I am needed. Thank you for considering me for taking care of your pets I currently work full time split shifts so I can take care of animals between shifts before shifts and after shifts. I have reliable transportation to and from also I have a large fenced in back yard and I currently work in the animal field so I am trained on medication management and also have vet tech experience.

About: I volunteer on my off time at my local dog rescue. I also have fostered many dogs in the past year for Caddo shelter and Parish Paws. I grew up around dogs and own two of my own who are always willing to play with other dogs. If there’s ever a concern of aggressive I separate the dogs when let out for potty breaks or in the house. I am taking off work for the next two months so my schedule is open minus a couple dates here and there. You can expect me home majority of my days. My pets are always fed and given water through the day and let o it frequently. They enjoy playing fetch or running in the yard and going on car rides or walks.

About: Cats are one of my best friends. I’ve always had cats in my home my whole life. When I was 18 my orange tabby Mimi gave birth to 7 kittens on my bedroom floor and it was a magical (yet terrifying) thing to witness. For the next 3 months I watched those kittens get bigger and eventually rehoused each one to loving families. Mimi is still my buddy until this day. When it comes to cats or any animals , I’m not shy to step in and help any way I can. I am professional and careful when it comes to my boarding to ensure the safety of all pets in my care.

I am a medical student at LSU Shreveport and love to take dog walk study breaks! About: I know that you have many options for care. I have been working through Rover since early 2020 and would like to share some information about myself. I made the decision to take an early retirement after twenty-two years at Northwestern State University when my husband and I relocated to Shreveport and both of our children went off to college. This move gave me the opportunity to pursue a job that I ❤️ and am passionate about. I believe dogs and cats are the most awesome of Earth's creatures, and, in my eyes, are such precious members of our families. I am a long-time dog and cat owner and currently a parent to three rescued dogs. I also was an active volunteer and Board Member for Natchitoches Hope for Paws dog rescue from 2012 to 2022. During this time, I worked with 150+ rescued dogs at the site and through the foster program. I found so much pleasure and enjoyment working as a rescue volunteer and wanted to expand my love and care of these most precious of animals. As a volunteer, I cleaned kennels, administered medications, walked and played with dogs, worked with basic training techniques and leash walking, and evaluated and monitored dog behaviors and personalities for proper socialization and integration with other dogs including aggressive and high anxiety dogs. I treat all animals as if they are my own. I love all fur babies big, small, young, and old. I am available at any time and since I am retired, I am able to provide drop-in services, walks, and overnight care (for socialized and house trained dogs who are current on all shots and flea/tick preventives), including medication administration and care for aggressive and high-anxiety dogs. I have no problems with cleaning up accidents and will ensure that your home stays clean of messes. I am also a firm believer in sending pictures while you are away so you can be comforted that your dog (or cat) is receiving nothing but the upmost care and love while you are away. No requested service is to great or small! I would welcome the opportunity to help you with care needs for your fur babies! Since I am retired, I am available at any time for drop-ins, walks, and overnight boarding (socialized and house trained only). I am also able to work around flexible and changing schedules. I live in a house with a large fully fenced backyard and have a doggy door which allows the dogs to move freely in and out of the house as they desire.

When I was 9 I helped my family’s pet goat give birth and helped raise them until they were rehomed to different farms. About: Hey y'all! I'm a Midwestern gal who has loved getting to know the pets of the deep south! I've been an animal lover my entire life. So, about 10 years ago, I started working at a doggy daycare and boarding facility and it was the experience of a lifetime! It's easily the coolest job I've ever had. I've gotten to learn a lot about pet care. It's a special feeling to get to get to know and watch pups grow up. I worked under an animal behaviorist in DC for several months before ending up down here in the Bossier area! I’m looking forward to building another sweet community of pets🥰 At home I have an ancient pup named Bella! She is an 18 year old beagle who really just wants to hang out. About: I’ve been around and taken care of plenty of dogs since I was little. I certainly have the basic skills to feed, walk, and care for dogs. Ontop of that, I can give medication orally or though shots if needed while you’re away. I have had plenty of experience dealing with dogs and all that comes along with having one. I love animals and enjoy taking care of them and all that comes along with that! I have to clean up after my own dogs and make sure their basic needs are met everyday. This is a task I am responsible of to make sure they are kept happy and healthy! I take the dogs outside to the bathroom or to play as well as giving them water daily. Our yard is fenced in and the animals can not get out. Our dogs know better than to get into things but at time stuff does happen so I make sure nothing is being messed up or chewed into etc. I would do the same for your home just as if it were mine.

About: I volunteer on my off time at my local dog rescue. I also have fostered many dogs in the past year for Caddo shelter and Parish Paws. I grew up around dogs and own two of my own who are always willing to play with other dogs. If there’s ever a concern of aggressive I separate the dogs when let out for potty breaks or in the house. I am taking off work for the next two months so my schedule is open minus a couple dates here and there. You can expect me home majority of my days. About: I’ve loved animals since I was young. I grew up with goats, cats, dogs, bunnies, and many more fun critters. I find a lot of joy being around animals. When I was 9 I helped my family’s pet goat give birth and helped raise them until they were rehomed to different farms. That is just one of the many fun stories I have from growing up surrounded by a variety of animals. I’m pretty comfortable with all personalities of pets and am very accommodating to specific routines and lifestyles. I used to work at a pet hospital so, that educated me on how to care for injured or sick pets. As well as, how to handle different behaviors of pets to benefit their safety and day to day life. I believe that all pets deserve kind and loving care no matter the age. I’m currently a stay at home wife with plenty of time to care for your fur babies! I’m available Monday-Saturday all day and Sundays after 12 PM, unless we make special accommodations for overnights or other accommodations. I live in a quiet neighborhood and have a large fenced in yard with plenty of room for playing and exercise. I also have two dogs that love making new friends. For boarding at my house I like to let the dogs have plenty of outside time. Whether it’s in the backyard playing, going on a walk, or a trip to the dog park. I am happy to crate your dog if requested- one of my dogs are crated when they are home alone due to anxiety so I understand the necessity if needed. About: Pet sitting is awesome because I want to spend time with as many wonderful pets as I can. I'll treat them just as well as I would like my pets to be treated since I know how important they are. Prior to Good Dog, I would pet sit for family, friends and neighbors. They deserve the best care even the little rambunctious ones. I have been working and volunteering in pet care for years. Interacting with any animal makes me happy but bunnies will always have a special place in my heart. About: Almost every firefighter has a part time job, so I chose this as mine because I love animals and I couldn’t think of any better way to relieve stress from work than to love on dogs all day! I have a pretty large fenced in backyard, although the house and furniture is open to your pups as well. I have two dogs of my own that love playing with new friends, but if your dog is shy of others I have a dog room in my house for my own dogs and another room for new friends to hang out as well. I also live close to the Brownlee Park, so if you would like your pup to go on a walk or run I would be more than happy to take them out!
