“We are so thankful for Jon! He did an INCREDIBLE job watching our pack of 4 poms over our wedding weekend! We have never used Rover before or left our dogs overnight and were pretty nervous. We even got on a call with Jon prior to booking and he was more than willing to answer our millions of questions. He was flexible with drop off and pick up times (we drove into NOLA from STL) and was so patient with my "helicopter parent" husband that wanted to set up their beds himself and was so anxious to leave them. Jon's house is also on a side street that made drop off really easy. We received multiple updates and the cutest photos the whole weekend! Our pack definitely had a great time. They loved the backyard! We have a senior dog with mobility issues that he was very careful with, and another pom with some hearing and vision loss and he was wonderful with both. It was very obvious that Jon loves dogs and took care of our fur babies like they were his own! When we picked the pups up he had everything packed up which was a huge time saver since we were driving back home. He had even ran one of our blankets through the dryer so they would have a warm spot to lay since the weather had gotten cold that morning! It is so difficult to trust someone else with your animals, and we were lucky to find such a caring and thoughtful Rover. About: I adopted my traveling friend's cat, Zara, for a year and a half before my friend moved back home during lockdown. Zara and I moved a few times in New Orleans, but she adjusted to our home perfectly once we were settled. She snuggled me everyday and was patient with me while I worked in the service industry. I have also cared for ducks, chickens, two older pigs, and a parrot while one of my friends left the city (New Orleans) for her birthday vacation. During this same week, I cared for my disabled friend's blind cat, shrimp tank, goldfish, and two neighborhood cats she tends to. Even though these friends lived on opposite parts of the city, I split my time snuggling with the furry pets and attended to all pets who had medication or special needs. My love for animals has expanded to animals I never thought I'd get to love on! I hope you can welcome me as your pet caretaker while you are away from home.

About: I’ve been caring for animals my whole life, starting from rescuing strays as a kid. I have years of hands on experience with dogs and cats of all ages, including my own senior pup who was named Cici. She needed medication around the clock and caring for her taught me patience, gentle handling, and how to follow a strict care routine. I didn’t realize that it was possible to have more than one soul dogs. So after that, yeah I’m not doing that again haha. My heart can’t take it. However, I would love to hang out with your fur babies and give them some extra loving and hopefully mend my broken heart. I promise I’ll treat them how I would’ve treated Cici and Betty!!!! The pain of losing them was so great only because the love I had for them was even greater. And I have an abundance of love to give! I am currently not working so I have all the time in the world to take care of your pets! Every day will be a party and I’d love to have some company! In my home, pets will have a safe, clean and comfortable space with plenty of attention, playtime and plenty of snuggles. About: I’ve always adored pets since I was young. I’ve had many in my life from cats,dogs,and rodents. I know animals are equal beings that need treatment with special accommodations. This requires patience which is almost unlimited for me.i currently have three cats that I’ve owned since they were 3-4 months old they’re now 6. I just got rats a few weeks ago they’re girls 6-8 months old. I believe everything follows a routine dedicated to them and I have no issue aligning myself to these routines. I’m still finishing high school at the moment and I have a job. But besides managing those I’m available weekdays after 4 if I’m not scheduled to work, weekends any time I keep my babies inside as much as possible. They’re allowed to free roam outside since they’re used to that lifestyle from before. They wear flee collars, jam is allergic. I cleanse them with daily grooming and anima safe wipes or soap if necessary. They’re fed 2-3 a day with half a cup or less of cat food I do plan to change their diets eventually. When it comes to other people’s pets I treat them with nothing but love and care and always stay considerate of whatever the owner says I should know about that animal. I’m extremely against cruelty brand products so I will avoid associating or using them.

“We are so thankful for Jon! He did an INCREDIBLE job watching our pack of 4 poms over our wedding weekend! We have never used Rover before or left our dogs overnight and were pretty nervous. We even got on a call with Jon prior to booking and he was more than willing to answer our millions of questions. He was flexible with drop off and pick up times (we drove into NOLA from STL) and was so patient with my "helicopter parent" husband that wanted to set up their beds himself and was so anxious to leave them. Jon's house is also on a side street that made drop off really easy. We received multiple updates and the cutest photos the whole weekend! Our pack definitely had a great time. They loved the backyard! We have a senior dog with mobility issues that he was very careful with, and another pom with some hearing and vision loss and he was wonderful with both. It was very obvious that Jon loves dogs and took care of our fur babies like they were his own! When we picked the pups up he had everything packed up which was a huge time saver since we were driving back home. He had even ran one of our blankets through the dryer so they would have a warm spot to lay since the weather had gotten cold that morning! It is so difficult to trust someone else with your animals, and we were lucky to find such a caring and thoughtful Rover. About: I’m lucky to come from an animal family. I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life - big dogs, small dogs, old dogs, lap cats, moody cats - I’ve loved them all. Recently, my two children and I found ourselves pet free for the first time. I miss having my own full-time furry companion but I also travel regularly for work. I decided to take this opportunity to open my home & heart to your pets. For me and my children, this is a win / win situation. We love caring for animals and we love the joy they bring to our home. We live in a cozy house in mid-city with a fully fenced in yard for dogs who wants to run and sniff and explore. My children, aged 8 & 4, have grown up with pets their whole lives and love participating in the day to day care. They are gentle and know how to approach and interact with animals of all ages and sizes. We’ve hosted dogs and cats in our home and we truly love doing so. I am active and will take your dog for as many walks and/or jogs as they desire. I also have a fenced in yard for those who want to roam and sniff around. I work from home so your pet will have company all day and rarely be left alone. I am available for on-demand walks, scratches and cuddles. I have experience administering medication to both dogs and cats. Before hosting or caring for any pet, I'm happy to meet with you to get to know your unique pet’s needs and temperament. I work from home so I am almost always around to provide on-demand cuddles, scratches, and walks for pets who are staying with us in our home. When caring for your pets in your home, my schedule means I have a lot of flexibility to work around your pet’s unique routine and needs. As a remote worker, I can work from anywhere and can provide extra love, support, and company for pets when their family is out of town. My home is quiet and comfortable with a fully fenced in back yard for dogs who want to run or sniff or feel the sun on their skin. My day to day routine is pretty quiet during this chapter of my life and I enjoy the loving & peaceful company of pets.
