About: I have over 10 years of experience caring for cats and other animals. My wife and I have a passion for helping animals, and whenever we safely can, we rescue stray cats by providing food, shelter, and veterinary care until they are healthy or reunited with their owners or placed in a safe home. While I was stationed at Fort Polk, I often cared for fellow Soldiers’ cats while they were away on leave, during the holidays, or attending training. Since I stayed in Louisiana after buying my home, I was happy to help by feeding their cats, cleaning litter boxes, refreshing their water, spending time playing with them, and making sure they were comfortable and well cared for until their owners returned. I understand that every cat has a unique personality, whether they are playful, shy, or independent. I am CPR certified, dependable, physically fit, and committed to providing a calm, clean, and safe environment. I will treat your cat with the same love, patience, and care that I give my own rescue animals, so you can have peace of mind while you are away.
About: Ever since I was a little girl I’ve loved animals. I think fur babies are the sweetest thing because although they’re only with you for a little of their lives, you’re with them for all of theirs. I currently have a Shih Tzu & tuxedo cat of my own named Marble who are big babies. I currently work remotely Monday-Thursday 8:30 AM-4:30 PM so I’ll be home just about the whole day with your furry ones! Potty breaks, walks, and movie nights here won’t be a problem! I have a large yard next to my house so potty breaks won’t be a problem. Also I have an adult fixed Shih Tzu that loves naps, belly rubs, and playing to keep your fur one company!

About: I have over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for cats and currently share my home with three of my own. Two are happy indoor companions, while my third is harness-trained and enjoys going on walks and even joining me on outings in a carrier backpack — so I’m very comfortable working with cats who have unique personalities, enrichment needs, or established routines. I understand that cats thrive on consistency and a calm environment. I take time to learn each cat’s individual preferences, whether that means interactive play, quiet companionship, maintaining litter box routines, or simply respecting a more independent personality. I’m experienced with kittens as well as adult and senior cats, and I’m comfortable administering medications when needed. My goal is always to reduce stress while you’re away by keeping your cat’s routine familiar and providing attentive, gentle care tailored specifically to them. I prioritize a calm, low-stress environment and let each cat set the pace for interaction and care.
“I found Lori to be very caring. My cat, Kitty, had a bump on her head that was taken care off by a Vet just before I had her boarded. As you may think, Kitty was not very happy about wearing a cone around her neck.. Lori did a fine job with the Kitty. I am sure that Kitty will soon be her own self. I am taking her to see the Vet Wed.. Lori did the best she could and was very concerned for Kitties health. A very safe place to board your cat..”

“Kimmy and Michael were awesome and sent multiple pictures even though my dog was only with them during the day. I had movers at my house who stayed later than expected but Kimmy and Michael were super flexible with the pick up time which was a lifesaver. They have a large yard and my dog came home exhausted!”

About: I have over 10 years of experience caring for dogs and other animals. While I was stationed at Fort Polk, many of my fellow Soldiers would go on leave, travel home for the holidays, or be away for training. Since I stayed in Louisiana and did not travel because I purchased my home here, I was often happy to help by caring for their pets. I would feed them, take them on walks, play with them, exercise them, make sure they had fresh water, and give them plenty of attention until their owners returned. I have experience with dogs of different sizes, breeds, and energy levels, and I understand that every pet has its own personality and routine. I am CPR certified, physically fit, dependable, and treat every animal like family. About: I’ve been caring for animals my entire life and currently share my home with three dogs and three cats of my own. Animals have always been central to my life, and I understand how important it is to know your pets are safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for while you’re away. In addition to lifelong pet ownership, I have extensive experience in dog rescue. At one point I was actively caring for and rehabilitating 14 dogs at once, working with animals from a variety of backgrounds, temperaments, and medical needs. That experience taught me patience, strong observation skills, and how to quickly recognize changes in behavior or health. I’m comfortable caring for pets at every life stage — energetic puppies and kittens, adult animals with established routines, and seniors who need extra time and compassion. I also have hands-on experience with special needs pets, including administering medications, maintaining detailed care schedules, and assisting animals with mobility challenges. Most recently, I cared for a senior pit bull with hind-end weakness who required lifting assistance to stand and walk, along with consistent medication management. Providing calm, steady support for pets who need extra help is something I truly enjoy. My goal is to keep your pet’s routine familiar and low-stress while providing dependable care, lots of affection, and clear communication so you always know how things are going at home. I treat every pet as if they were my own and provide regular photo and message updates so you always know your pet is safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. I currently work part-time as a work-from-home contractor, which allows me a very flexible schedule and makes it easy to adapt my day around pet care needs. Because I’m home much of the time, I’m able to provide consistent attention, regular check-ins, and reliable care throughout the day. I plan my schedule around the pets I’m caring for to ensure feeding times, walks, medication schedules, and companionship needs are met without disruption. Whether it’s short visits, overnight stays, or extended care, I’m able to adjust my routine to prioritize your pet’s comfort and consistency. When caring for pets in a client’s home, my priority is maintaining their normal routine and environment as closely as possible to reduce stress. I follow all instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walk routines, medication needs, and any specific behavioral or medical guidelines. I approach each home with respect and responsibility, keeping things clean, secure, and exactly as I found them. I understand the importance of trust when someone is caring for both your pets and your space, and I communicate regularly so you always know how things are going. With experience caring for animals of all ages—including rescues, seniors, and pets with special medical needs—I’m comfortable adapting to whatever level of care is required. My goal is always to provide calm, attentive care so your pets feel safe, understood, and well cared for in your absence.

I make sure pets are fed on schedule, get regular walks or playtime, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m attentive and present, and I enjoy building pet care into my daily and weekly routine. I have a fenced in backyard where we can run around and play together. I can give medications, give baths, do any special accommodations, etc.
About: I have been around animals my entire life. Pets are like family and should be treated accordingly.
