About: I have 4 dogs of my own and one cat. I have cared for pets as long as I can remember. My dogs are all house trained and crate trained they also are well mannered and like other pets. I can house train and also train dogs to do certain tricks. I'm 27 years old and own my own home with a large fenced in back yard. My house has no carpet so accidental pet messes can be cleaned easily. I have my own transportation to house sit or dog walk any time I am needed. About: I volunteer on my off time at my local dog rescue. I also have fostered many dogs in the past year for Caddo shelter and Parish Paws. I grew up around dogs and own two of my own who are always willing to play with other dogs. If there’s ever a concern of aggressive I separate the dogs when let out for potty breaks or in the house. I am taking off work for the next two months so my schedule is open minus a couple dates here and there. You can expect me home majority of my days. My pets are always fed and given water through the day and let o it frequently. They enjoy playing fetch or running in the yard and going on car rides or walks.

When I was 9 I helped my family’s pet goat give birth and helped raise them until they were rehomed to different farms. I am happy to crate your dog if requested- one of my dogs are crated when they are home alone due to anxiety so I understand the necessity if needed. I also have indoor cameras to monitor my pets while I’m not home, so your pets will always have an eye on them even if I’m not physically there to ensure their safety. For overnight stays in your home, it is completely up to your discretion how you’d like me to care for your pets. If you have special instructions for your pet care I am open to almost anything, I don’t think any ask is too big or too small.

My family fostered dogs and cats throughout my childhood and I have learned about the proper care for animals while working at veterinary clinics. I have 2 large breed dogs and a "senior" cat (she doesn't act like it) who I adore with my whole heart. I recently had to take my German Shepherd in for emergency surgery, as he developed Bloat, so I'm looking to make money to help pay for the surgery, as it was incredibly expensive. About: My own girl, Minerva, recently passed away (in her late teens). She was with me for over half my life, but I was there for all of hers. She was a squirrelly girl, so no cat is too weird. About: I inherited my love for dogs at a very early age. My dog Mojo grew up with us and spent 11 years as part of our family. Since then, I volunteered at local shelters for 4 years during high school. While attending college, I cared for five dogs of my own and I have enjoyed house and pet sitting for the last 4 years. Safety has always been my number one priority. I am available any time Saturday through Sunday, for 1 hour visits at lunch from 11-1 and 4-10 pm Monday through Friday. I may be able to accommodate special circumstances. After joining the Airforce, I decided that I was missing being around my dogs. So, I decided that I would return to Rover. About: I know that you have many options for care. I have been working through Rover since early 2020 and would like to share some information about myself. I made the decision to take an early retirement after twenty-two years at Northwestern State University when my husband and I relocated to Shreveport and both of our children went off to college. This move gave me the opportunity to pursue a job that I ❤️ and am passionate about. I believe dogs and cats are the most awesome of Earth's creatures, and, in my eyes, are such precious members of our families. I am a long-time dog and cat owner and currently a parent to three rescued dogs. I also was an active volunteer and Board Member for Natchitoches Hope for Paws dog rescue from 2012 to 2022. During this time, I worked with 150+ rescued dogs at the site and through the foster program. I found so much pleasure and enjoyment working as a rescue volunteer and wanted to expand my love and care of these most precious of animals. As a volunteer, I cleaned kennels, administered medications, walked and played with dogs, worked with basic training techniques and leash walking, and evaluated and monitored dog behaviors and personalities for proper socialization and integration with other dogs including aggressive and high anxiety dogs. I treat all animals as if they are my own. I love all fur babies big, small, young, and old. I am available at any time and since I am retired, I am able to provide drop-in services, walks, and overnight care (for socialized and house trained dogs who are current on all shots and flea/tick preventives), including medication administration and care for aggressive and high-anxiety dogs. I have no problems with cleaning up accidents and will ensure that your home stays clean of messes. I am also a firm believer in sending pictures while you are away so you can be comforted that your dog (or cat) is receiving nothing but the upmost care and love while you are away. No requested service is to great or small! I would welcome the opportunity to help you with care needs for your fur babies! Since I am retired, I am available at any time for drop-ins, walks, and overnight boarding (socialized and house trained only). I am also able to work around flexible and changing schedules. His name is Teddy! He’s super sweet and he’s spoiled rotten! He’s pretty small but I’ve kept dogs of all sizes. Big or small, I got you. If it’s a drop in just to check, or you need me to watch them for a week while you go on vacation. I can help! I have a fenced yard now and your pup will have a friend. His name is a Teddy, he’s a miniature schnauzer and he loves to play! My daughter also loves all the animals that comes to visit, so expect your pet to be a little spoiled to her when you return!
