About: I have loved all animals from a young age but have an especially soft spot for dogs. At your home I can work with whatever task you are given me and can be flexible if for example, told there is no fenced yard or if the pet needs to be kept outdoors. I will not be able to stay over nights but can care for pets as long as I need to!
About: I’ve been caring for animals my entire life and currently share my home with three dogs and three cats of my own. Animals have always been central to my life, and I understand how important it is to know your pets are safe, comfortable, and genuinely cared for while you’re away. In addition to lifelong pet ownership, I have extensive experience in dog rescue. At one point I was actively caring for and rehabilitating 14 dogs at once, working with animals from a variety of backgrounds, temperaments, and medical needs. That experience taught me patience, strong observation skills, and how to quickly recognize changes in behavior or health. I’m comfortable caring for pets at every life stage — energetic puppies and kittens, adult animals with established routines, and seniors who need extra time and compassion. I also have hands-on experience with special needs pets, including administering medications, maintaining detailed care schedules, and assisting animals with mobility challenges. Most recently, I cared for a senior pit bull with hind-end weakness who required lifting assistance to stand and walk, along with consistent medication management. Providing calm, steady support for pets who need extra help is something I truly enjoy. My goal is to keep your pet’s routine familiar and low-stress while providing dependable care, lots of affection, and clear communication so you always know how things are going at home. I treat every pet as if they were my own and provide regular photo and message updates so you always know your pet is safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. I currently work part-time as a work-from-home contractor, which allows me a very flexible schedule and makes it easy to adapt my day around pet care needs. Because I’m home much of the time, I’m able to provide consistent attention, regular check-ins, and reliable care throughout the day. I plan my schedule around the pets I’m caring for to ensure feeding times, walks, medication schedules, and companionship needs are met without disruption. Whether it’s short visits, overnight stays, or extended care, I’m able to adjust my routine to prioritize your pet’s comfort and consistency. When caring for pets in a client’s home, my priority is maintaining their normal routine and environment as closely as possible to reduce stress. I follow all instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walk routines, medication needs, and any specific behavioral or medical guidelines. I approach each home with respect and responsibility, keeping things clean, secure, and exactly as I found them. I understand the importance of trust when someone is caring for both your pets and your space, and I communicate regularly so you always know how things are going. With experience caring for animals of all ages—including rescues, seniors, and pets with special medical needs—I’m comfortable adapting to whatever level of care is required. About: I have been around animals my entire life. Pets are like family and should be treated accordingly. I grew up with two adorable Winnie dogs named Brownie and Tootie, as well as two precious cats named Mr. Beans and Rosie. I treated them all as my babies and cherished them dearly. When it comes to caring for your pet, I promise to give it the same love and affection. I will provide plenty of treats, and of course plenty of hugs and kisses. Your pet is welcome on my furniture, and they'll always receive a warm welcome. I accept same day and last min bookings! I have plenty of time for your pets with an open schedule. About: I’ve loved and cared for animals for a very long time you can even say my whole life. I’ve raised cats, dogs, birds, chinchillas, even a chameleon from babies to adults. I’ve potty trained many puppies, taught them tricks, and even cared for pregnant mommas with puppies. Cats are more of my specialty though i’ve litter box trained them, taught them to walk on a leash, tamed feral cats/kittens. I also volunteer from time to time at the Acadiana Animal Aid shelter helping care for cats/dogs in need of homes. I’m currently working full-time. I work an 8 hour day normally from 8 am - 5 pm, my hours are flexible though. I also have a 1 hour lunch I can take. I’m completely free most weekends. I have a mostly fenced yard where my dog Huck loves to play, it is a little small but we make do with the space we have. My dog and cats gets fed twice a day morning/evening. If I’m caring for an animal in a clients home I can visit in the mornings/lunch/evenings depending on the care needed.

“Our 70lb puppy can be a handful! We know. Lol. He is such a sweet dog, but might have a bit of an unhealthy attachment to his family. He definitely developed some big anxiety along the way and we have had difficulty kenneling him anymore. He needs some special attention to help calm him and he needs to know he's loved. We almost had to cancel our trip, but Tabitha agreed at the last minute for a meet and greet since he had never been around cats. She agreed to board him after we saw he was unfazed by the cats. She definitely cared for him very well! He didn't come home traumatized from being separated from us. He is active and moving as if nothing ever happened! He has a mean bark, but if you can get past it, you'll see he is just very protective and can be just so sweet. Tabitha went out of her way to make him feel at home!!! She is definitely a very loving animal person and I wouldn't hesitate to use her again and again!! Thank you Tabitha!”
