“Iryna took wonderful care of my cat for 3 weeks. :) From the meet and greet, to the day I came back to pick her up, Iryna and her amazing family made sure my cat was comfortable in their home and well taken care of the entire time. Thank you sooo so much!!”

“ELENA was excellent with my Chewy! She was so attentive to him. I loved that she sent pictures almost every day. She has such a beautiful spirit. I won't go anywhere else to leave him. He now has a second home away from home. Rover please keep her as long as she's willing to sit with our fur babies. I will definitely recommend to anyone who may be looking for a fur baby sitter. GTurner”

“Rachel and Michael were wonderful! They took care of Missy over the holidays and clearly gave her a lot of love! They send sweet pictures and or videos daily. They were extremely responsive and reliable. They set up Missy for success by scheduling a meet and greet for our pups before the boarding period. They were also super flexible. My flight back to the city was canceled and I last minute needed an extra day of care for Missy and they accommodated this last minute change which was very kind. Overall, I felt relaxed and reassured in my travels knowing Missy was being cared for by Rachel and Michael!”

“Michael is so kind and helpful. I was nervous to leave my fur-child with someone new to go out of town. He made me feel at ease from the start and my pup also did very well. He was prompt in all communication and let me know how she was doing periodically. Would definitely recommend and I plan to have him watch her again for the next trip!”

“Blair was fantastic. She was extremely responsive and very easy to schedule pick up/drop off. She has a pup of her own that got along great with my dog. I will definitely be booking her again.”

“Sarah was great! If she is available in the future I will definitely use her. She sent LOTS of photos and videos and I was more than grateful that my pup had a friend to play with in her doggo. I’d forgotten to update D’Arts profile that he was now on medication, and Sarah was super adaptable to this info. I am appreciative!”

“Words can’t express how super sweet Regina was with my Jacob. She definitely deserves more than 5 stars. He looked so happy and comfortable with her. Regina kept me up to date on his daily behavior and activities with photos. The thing I love the most is the 1 on 1 attention that was given to him. Will definitely book her again.”

“Serena and AJ were amazing with Cookie!! It was very relieving & comforting to know she was in such great hands while I was out of the country for a bit. Serena was always super quick to respond, flexible, and I loved getting all the photo and video updates! 10/10 would recommend & I would definitely book again with her!”

“My family was so lucky to find Evlin on Rover.com We were stressing to find the perfect person for my 16 yo schnauzer and his 3yo schnauzer brother Milo, who can often be full of energy. My pups loved exploring Elvin’s large yard and she sent messages and pictures regarding their stay. I was afraid my oldest pup wouldn’t eat…that wasnt a problem while visiting Evlin he was so comfortable he ate his meals and his brother’s too. 😊,”

“Jon took amazing care for Panfila. She came back home with a wagging tail and was very happy to stay with him. Jon is very attentive and really caters to each dog individually. Look forward to leaving her with him in the future.”

“Bianca was great! She made a real effort with my kitties while I was gone for about 2 weeks. They played a lot, loved getting brushed and got many treats. Bianca left my house clean, all litter changed and swept up. During the visit, our keypad battery started giving a "low battery signal," Bianca let us know, and offered to change it. I provided directions and she was able to figure it out seemslely and change the batteries at the next visit to prevent any distribution to kitty care. She watered our plants, too! Would recommend Bianca for your cat sitting needs.”

“Alaina was great! She took excellent care of our cats and took very good update photos. She was super flexible and was also very nice to talk to when we met! Thank you Alaina!”

“Deana took great care of my little gentleman cat. Lots of updates and plenty of pictures, as usual. Highly recommend to feel comfortable when you leave your little ones at home.”

About: Hello, well experienced cat owner. I have watched and care for other cat owners and provide the same amount of love and affection. I am patient for cats that are timid and if any of the them scratch, bite or hiss it is not an issue TJ me at all.
“Elizabeth was prompt with her visits and reports. She made me feel secure about being away from Tula. Everything was in order when we returned. I would trust her to check on her again if needed.”

“Caitlin took such good care of our cat while we were away on vacation. She sent us more photos and videos than any other sitter and we LOVED that! It’s hard leaving a pet for an extended period, but she really put us at ease with all of the hilarious photos and punctual updates. I would hire her again in a second and recommend her to anyone looking for a loving and responsible pet sitter.”

“Angela cat-sat for us for a long weekend and did a great job with our cat. He's only been with us for about 1.5 months, so his routine can be a little tricky. She accommodated him wonderfully, and he appeared very happy when we returned.”

“Couldn’t have asked for a better sitter, sent very cute pictures left everything clean and organized and was super responsive as well. Hanna’s reviews speak for themselves but once you meet her you will feel even more at ease, a true animal lover 💖”

“Sarah was a great sitter, really communicative and attentive to my two kitties. She sent detailed updates and pictures with each visit so I knew my guys were well taken care of. Excellent service, would use again!”

“Jamie was so great with our two kitties! She made sure the diabetic one got his meds and didn’t let the other eat all his food, then sent us lots of cute pictures. She even took the extra step of taking the litter to the outside trash so our house wouldn’t stink when we got back! So happy to have someone trustworthy to take care of our boys, will definitely book her again.”

“She was great!! My cat had so much fun with her. I’m new to this app and having someone house sit but i had no worry with her. She went above and beyond and i will definitely use her again”

“Marisa is my dog sitter from before she was on Rover and to this day my go-to for the care of my beloved pets. She does well with my big rottweiler mix clementine who is quirky as well as my Chihuahua Enyo who has very refined tastes in humans. Marisa has cared for my dogs for long and short stays (times when I was out of the country for months) and has cared for my older lady as she was on a complicated daily medicine regiment with no issues. I literally could not reccomend anyone more highly for your pet care needs. I don't know what I'd do without her help!!!”

“If I could leave 10 gold stars I would! Lindsey took such good care of my very spoiled little pugs. They hate being alone and I don't think they had a moment unattended in the 5 days they spent with Lindsey. Her dog Lola sealed the deal for the pugs as they love other dogs and feel like it's a party if other furry beings are around. On the second morning we were to take the dogs to Lindsey they didn't get off the couch. As soon as we asked if they wanted to see Lola, they were immediately at the door- such a good sign! Every night we picked up happy, tired doggies. We were able to visit New Orleans without worrying about our babies. A Godsend! Thank you so much Lindsey. We so appreciate you!”

“Michael was fantastic! We were traveling through town, and last minute decided to find a sitter so we could check out the city. Michael responded super fast and was incredibly flexible regarding drop off and pick up times. Also, my dog seemed to like him a lot, and his opinion matters the most. :)”

“Ms. Etta is GREAT with Bronx. I love how she loves on him and she knows how to handle him. Bronx is a good dog, but she makes sure to pay attention to your pup and learns their quirks so that she can anticipate any issues that may arise. The love and care that she shows all the pups in her care is amazing. I literally can count on her to watch Bronx and not have to even check in cause I know he’s in good hands. She takes pride in her business and I’m so happy she’s accepted me and Bronx into her Krewe. She has a customer FOR LIFE! Thank you so much Ms. E”

“Winnie loved Emily. I was nervous with my pup being so young and tiny leaving her for daycare but EMILY made her feel right at home. This sweet lady has a heart of gold. ❤️ Winnie can’t wait hang out with her and sweet dogs again. :)”

“Evlin took wonderful care of my Bichon, Chance. He was happy to see us at the end of the day, but he was relaxed with Evlin and her dog Juicy. She checked in with photos and texts, which made me feel better about leaving him. She totally deserves her five-star rating, and I recommend her w/o reservation.”

“10/10 would recommend, 10/10 will be a repeat customer! Rizzo had so much fun, she can’t wait to go back. Completely hassle free and painless. Rizzo loved her walks and has a another best friend!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 10 years and have experience with a wide range of personalities, from high-energy dogs to more sensitive or anxious ones. I’m especially attentive to a dog’s emotional needs and body language, and I prioritize making them feel safe, calm, and understood in their environment. I have hands-on experience with crate training, building positive associations, and helping dogs develop confidence when left alone. I’m patient, consistent, and gentle in my approach. I tailor care to each dog rather than using a one-size-fits-all method. Whether it’s walks, feeding, playtime, or simply keeping your pet company, I treat every dog as if they were my own and aim to create a calm, secure experience for them while you’re away. I occasionally bring my well-socialized dog with me for longer stays, but only with prior approval and proper introductions. I’m a full-time dog sitter and spend most of the time at my house, which allows me to give pets consistent attention, care, and supervision throughout the day. I have a large fenced in yard for the zoomies and I’ve dedicated a fold out couch for the dog in addition to my bed for any cuddle bubs! There’s a splash-pad and cooling stations so no one overheats after a big romp around the yard. I structure my days around walks, play, and downtime, and I’m mindful of keeping routines consistent so pets feel secure. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and extended care on both weekdays and weekends, and I prioritize being present and your dogs will rarely, if at all, be left alone. I’m located in a quiet part of the outer 9th ward. My neighbors are friendly dog lovers too. I provide a calm, structured, and attentive environment where your pet’s safety and comfort are the top priority. I pay close attention to body language, energy levels, and individual needs, and I adjust my approach to help each dog feel safe and understood. I’m experienced with crate use, positive reinforcement, and helping dogs settle in new environments. I follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible and take care to avoid overwhelming situations, especially for more sensitive or anxious dogs. I know when to separate dogs and how to read body language before any accidents can transpire. In your home or mine, I maintain a clean, predictable space and ensure pets are supervised, exercised appropriately, and never left in situations where they could feel unsafe or stressed.
“Very happy! Will use Ashley again for my next trip to New Orleans! She updated me with pictures and made me feel more comfortable leaving Charlie for the day! Thank you so much!”

“Oshie was able to take care of my Abby last minute and she was so pleasant. She took great care of my girl and if I’m ever in the area again, I will be reaching out!”

I’m patient, dependable, and focused on making sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and happy during our time together. Whether your dog is energetic and needs an active walk or prefers a slower pace, I can adjust to their needs and personality. I also understand the importance of communication and will keep you updated so you feel confident while your pet is in my care. Every boarding includes: * Personalized care based on your dog’s routine * Regular photo and video updates * Frequent walks and potty breaks * A personalized end-of-stay report summarizing your dog’s meals, walks, behavior, and overall experience Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. As a university instructor with a flexible schedule, I have the flexibility to provide frequent walks, potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of companionship throughout the day. I care for every dog as an individual, following their normal routine as closely as possible while providing regular photo updates and a personalized boarding summary at the end of each stay. My goal is for every pet to feel safe, comfortable, and right at home. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and well-being are my top priorities. I care for every dog as an individual by following their normal feeding, potty, exercise, and sleep routines as closely as possible. I require proof of current rabies vaccination before boarding to help maintain a safe environment for every pet in my home. I provide regular photo and video updates throughout each stay so you can have peace of mind while you’re away, and every boarding concludes with a personalized summary of your dog’s stay. My goal is to create a calm, clean, and welcoming environment where your dog feels safe, comfortable, and cared for like family.
About: Dogs have always held a special place in my heart. I believe they teach us unconditional love, help us stay present, and enrich our lives in countless ways. I love dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities, though I have a particular appreciation for larger breeds such as Pit Bulls, Dobermans, and Rottweilers. Over the years, I've spent countless hours learning about canine behavior, training, and communication to better understand their needs and how they experience the world. My beloved Miniature Schnauzer, Bella, was my companion for 13 wonderful years. During the last five years of her life, she lived with diabetes, requiring twice-daily insulin injections, regular veterinary care, and cataract surgery. Caring for her taught me patience, attentiveness, and the importance of providing consistent, compassionate care—especially for dogs with special medical needs. I understand that pets are family. Whether your dog needs a walk, playtime, companionship, or extra care and attention, I'll treat them with the same love, respect, and responsibility that I gave my own. I currently work from home while building my real estate investment business, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to be attentive to the needs of the pets in my care. My day typically starts between 6:30 and 7:30 a.m. with meditation and exercise, followed by work from my home office. Because I set my own schedule, I can easily accommodate walks, feeding schedules, playtime, potty breaks, medication needs, and plenty of companionship throughout the day. If your dog is boarding with me, I enjoy incorporating outdoor walks into my daily routine and can provide regular exercise, enrichment, and one-on-one attention. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're away. I care for pets according to their owner's preferred schedule and routine whenever possible. I understand that consistency helps pets feel safe, comfortable, and secure, whether they're in my home or their own. I take the time to learn each pet's feeding schedule, exercise needs, medication requirements, favorite activities, and any special instructions. My goal is to provide attentive, loving care while maintaining the routines and boundaries that are important to both the pet and their family.

“Amazing experience for us and our dog Lil Buddy! Amanda met us at her door so could catch boat cruise, so we already felt really safe to leave Buddy with her because she was a good communicator. She sent us update photo, which made us comfortable enough to enjoy our anniversary lunch cause our dog was in safe and loving hands ♥️ We will book Amanda again for sure and would recommend her to everyone ☺️”

“I just moved to New Orleans and work very long hours. I won’t leave my dog alone for extended periods and I’m so grateful I found Ellen. Waylon fit in so well with her pups and absolutely loved his day with Ellen and her crew. I loved all the updates I got from Ellen throughout the day; I knew my pup was in good hands and was treated just like one of her own. Waylon has been passed out on the couch since we’ve gotten back from Ellen’s. I would not hesitate to go back and use her services again, and I highly recommend her to anyone in the area to look after your fur babies.”

About: Hi there!! My name is Asia. I have been dog sitting professionally for 6 years now. But personally i haven’t had a time in my life without at least one fur baby. Just like people, every dog is different. I always take time to get to know the dog and care for their specific needs, likes, and dislikes. I know trusting someone with your dog is a big deal. They are family! It’s important that you feel safe and comfortable with who you choose. I do not take that lightly. That being said, I would love to be the person you count on. Hope to talk soon! Right now I am working part time and mostly remote. So that gives me lots of time within my schedule to help watch your dogs/cats. I always meet with my clients before hand to discuss what their dogs daily schedule usually looks like. As well as how their specific dog likes being cared for. I’ve always found it very important to not change things too much from what they’re used to.

“Evlin helped me last minute and was very flexible, accommodating, and took great care of my pup. She went out of her way to take good care of her. Usually my pup takes a while to warm up to strangers, but she bonded with her right away! Don't hesitate to book with her!”

About: Hi! I’ve had dogs my entire life and they’ve always been at the center of my world. My most recent pup, Effy, was with me for 15 years — she was truly the love of my life. While I’m not quite ready to have a dog of my own again, I couldn’t imagine my life without them, which is why I’m so excited to be here on Rover! Your pet will be loved and cared for like my own. I can’t wait to meet them I work from home Monday–Friday, so your pet will have my full attention throughout the day — no long stretches alone. I am able to work remotely so care during the day is no issue. I live in an apartment in Meraux above my dad’s office, so while there’s no yard, we have plenty of space to get outside for walks. There are stairs, but I’m happy to carry pets up and down as needed.

About: Hello! I'm so excited to meet your furry family members and walk and play with them! I recently left my 9-5 job and am spending my time doing what I love most before I head back to school in January for my Master's. That includes meeting as many dogs as I can. I was on Rover several years ago mostly dog sitting, and it was the best! But now that I have an almost two year old running my household, walking dogs outside is a better fit for me these days. For the last 7 years, my partner has also been a full-time dog walker, and I've been his backup the whole time. Now, we're officially making it a family business as I've started taking on clients of my own again! Over nearly a decade of dog sitting and backup walking, I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, and energy levels. I’m completely comfortable handling special medical needs and unique temperaments, and the NOLA heat doesn't scare me one bit. Let me take your dog out and I'll do all the sweating so you don't have to! I recently left my 9-5 and plan to start earning my Master's in January 2026, so in the meantime my schedule is wide open. My only restriction is I can't start before 8am as I have to get my toddler to daycare. I am a rule follower and someone who loves sticking to the plan. So whatever instructions you leave for how you want your dog to be cared for, I will follow those to the letter.

“I felt full trust to leave my baby boy with Katherine and her husband. They both work from home so plenty of attention for the pups and Grits had a great time. Great people!”

“We left our dog for a month long stay. He obviously enjoyed himself and didn’t want to leave Anne! Our dog pouted the whole way home and for 4 hours after that! Communication was easy.... Anne responded promptly and with pictures. We even had a problem getting him to her house and she helped by picking him up. We will definitely send him for another “stay cation“ with Anne!”

“This will be my second time using Dalia. At this point, my pup is in love with this family. Our pup don’t like just anyone. That means, they have to be treating her right when we are away and it shows. They are amazing, very hospitable, and easy to work with. Dalia was able to assist me with last minute changes with the arrival time. I truly appreciate her and her family for helping. Anyone that uses her will not be disappointed.”

“I could not have asked for a better sitter, more flexible and communicative during a disaster of a trip, with layovers being extended, she communicated clearly and was flexible to keep my pet, I will definately use her again for this service”

“Kinje loved Alejandra, and I loved the peace of mind that I had while he was staying with her! She sent lots of cute pics and videos of Kinje having a fun time. She also was super patient about working with me through flight delays and changes. I'd definitely recommend her to anyone, and next time we fly out of New Orleans Kinje will definitely stay with her again!”
