We even got on a call with Jon prior to booking and he was more than willing to answer our millions of questions. He was flexible with drop off and pick up times (we drove into NOLA from STL) and was so patient with my "helicopter parent" husband that wanted to set up their beds himself and was so anxious to leave them. They loved the backyard! We have a senior dog with mobility issues that he was very careful with, and another pom with some hearing and vision loss and he was wonderful with both. When we picked the pups up he had everything packed up which was a huge time saver since we were driving back home. He had even ran one of our blankets through the dryer so they would have a warm spot to lay since the weather had gotten cold that morning! “Caitlin went above and beyond to make sure our elderly house cat, Chani, was very well cared for while we were out of town. Chani is a very affectionate cat and needs lots of human contact. Caitlin showered her with attention and affection. Except for her regular humans' presence, Chani had everything she usually does on a daily basis including pets, backrubs, brushes, and kisses, even a walk outside with her harness. Being an elderly kitty, she has to take a blood pressure pill every day or her blood pressure will spike and she'll start to lose her vision, so we're very thankful that Caitlin is experienced with administering medication to pets. Chani took to Caitlin right away and immediately felt at ease with her. We know this because of the many pictures and videos Caitlin sent us showing Chani being at ease and affectionate. When our flight home was delayed for several hours Caitlin graciously agreed to an emergency extra visit to make sure Chani took her medicine and had her dinner. That was really great. She is a great pet sitter and we highly recommend her.”

About: After a tragically pet-free childhood, I've spent the last 20 years seeking out any opportunity to care for animals—from free dog walking for friends and cat-sitting for vacationing pals to hiking with hounds and being a designated vet chauffeur. About: I've walked dogs in Dallas, Tx for three years. I've been taking care of my own dog since moving here to New Orleans. Love all kinds of dogs. I'm recently retired and looking for some extra income. I love all kinds of dogs big or small and their individual personalities. I'm also a long time cat owner and love them as well. I would like to offer my service to stay at your home with your pet. I will feed, adminster medicine, walk, and groom your pet.

“We are so thankful for Jon! He did an INCREDIBLE job watching our pack of 4 poms over our wedding weekend! We have never used Rover before or left our dogs overnight and were pretty nervous. We even got on a call with Jon prior to booking and he was more than willing to answer our millions of questions. He was flexible with drop off and pick up times (we drove into NOLA from STL) and was so patient with my "helicopter parent" husband that wanted to set up their beds himself and was so anxious to leave them. Jon's house is also on a side street that made drop off really easy. We received multiple updates and the cutest photos the whole weekend! Our pack definitely had a great time. They loved the backyard! We have a senior dog with mobility issues that he was very careful with, and another pom with some hearing and vision loss and he was wonderful with both. It was very obvious that Jon loves dogs and took care of our fur babies like they were his own! When we picked the pups up he had everything packed up which was a huge time saver since we were driving back home. He had even ran one of our blankets through the dryer so they would have a warm spot to lay since the weather had gotten cold that morning! It is so difficult to trust someone else with your animals, and we were lucky to find such a caring and thoughtful Rover.
