“We are so thankful for Jon! He did an INCREDIBLE job watching our pack of 4 poms over our wedding weekend! We have never used Rover before or left our dogs overnight and were pretty nervous. We even got on a call with Jon prior to booking and he was more than willing to answer our millions of questions. He was flexible with drop off and pick up times (we drove into NOLA from STL) and was so patient with my "helicopter parent" husband that wanted to set up their beds himself and was so anxious to leave them. Jon's house is also on a side street that made drop off really easy. We received multiple updates and the cutest photos the whole weekend! Our pack definitely had a great time. They loved the backyard! We have a senior dog with mobility issues that he was very careful with, and another pom with some hearing and vision loss and he was wonderful with both. It was very obvious that Jon loves dogs and took care of our fur babies like they were his own! When we picked the pups up he had everything packed up which was a huge time saver since we were driving back home. He had even ran one of our blankets through the dryer so they would have a warm spot to lay since the weather had gotten cold that morning! It is so difficult to trust someone else with your animals, and we were lucky to find such a caring and thoughtful Rover. Bianca left my house clean, all litter changed and swept up. During the visit, our keypad battery started giving a "low battery signal," Bianca let us know, and offered to change it. I provided directions and she was able to figure it out seemslely and change the batteries at the next visit to prevent any distribution to kitty care. She watered our plants, too! “Caitlin went above and beyond to make sure our elderly house cat, Chani, was very well cared for while we were out of town. Chani is a very affectionate cat and needs lots of human contact. Caitlin showered her with attention and affection. Except for her regular humans' presence, Chani had everything she usually does on a daily basis including pets, backrubs, brushes, and kisses, even a walk outside with her harness. Being an elderly kitty, she has to take a blood pressure pill every day or her blood pressure will spike and she'll start to lose her vision, so we're very thankful that Caitlin is experienced with administering medication to pets. Chani took to Caitlin right away and immediately felt at ease with her. We know this because of the many pictures and videos Caitlin sent us showing Chani being at ease and affectionate. When our flight home was delayed for several hours Caitlin graciously agreed to an emergency extra visit to make sure Chani took her medicine and had her dinner. That was really great. She is a great pet sitter and we highly recommend her.”

I follow the owners lead if dogs are allowed on furniture, but if so, they are welcome to cuddle on the couch. I prefer that dogs sleep in their own bed, one of my loaner beds or a crate. About: I grew up raising dogs and cats in my household. Since 2010 I've adopted pets on my own, cats and a dog. I currently have one cat I rescued as a kitten three years ago and a dog who loves to play that I rescued 2 years ago from a shelter. About: I’ve had dogs and cats in my life since I was a kid, so caring for animals comes naturally to me. One thing that sets me apart is my experience with senior and younger pets. When pets stay in my home, they enjoy a safe, comfortable, and enriching environment. I have a large fenced-in yard perfect for playtime, potty breaks, and supervised outdoor fun. There’s also a doggy door available for pets who are used to having that freedom. I can easily keep it closed if your pet is not used to one and you’re more comfortable without it open. Your dog will also have the company of my three small, calm, and very friendly dogs who get along wonderfully with pets of all sizes. They’re great at helping new guests feel welcome and relaxed. Whether your pet prefers playmates or a quiet space of their own, I make sure their needs and personality are the priority. If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I follow your routine from feeding and walking schedules to favorite toys, training cues, and any household rules you prefer. My goal is to maintain the same consistency and comfort your pet enjoys when you’re home, with plenty of affection, enrichment, and communication along the way. No matter where I’m caring for your pet, you can expect patience, attentiveness, and a nurturing environment that helps them feel safe, happy, and loved.
About: I have been around a variety of animals including reptiles my entire life. I worked as a veterinary technician for a year. I am trained to react quickly and have a decent amount of medical training. I am also experienced with handling senior animals including those with special needs. I have handled animals that are paralyzed, post operative, and medication dependent. I have no other job at the moment. This gives me constant availability. I have my own transportation as well as the ability to create my own schedule. I do constantly supervise my animals. I am easily able to redirect an animal before any problems can arise. I have fast reflexes from my time as a veterinary technician.

“We are so thankful for Jon! He did an INCREDIBLE job watching our pack of 4 poms over our wedding weekend! We have never used Rover before or left our dogs overnight and were pretty nervous. We even got on a call with Jon prior to booking and he was more than willing to answer our millions of questions. He was flexible with drop off and pick up times (we drove into NOLA from STL) and was so patient with my "helicopter parent" husband that wanted to set up their beds himself and was so anxious to leave them. Jon's house is also on a side street that made drop off really easy. We received multiple updates and the cutest photos the whole weekend! Our pack definitely had a great time. They loved the backyard! We have a senior dog with mobility issues that he was very careful with, and another pom with some hearing and vision loss and he was wonderful with both. It was very obvious that Jon loves dogs and took care of our fur babies like they were his own! When we picked the pups up he had everything packed up which was a huge time saver since we were driving back home. He had even ran one of our blankets through the dryer so they would have a warm spot to lay since the weather had gotten cold that morning! It is so difficult to trust someone else with your animals, and we were lucky to find such a caring and thoughtful Rover.
