It was a little cold snap, so I brought Miley with a sweater. When I picked her up the next day, Regina had even sewn shut a hole that had been in that sweater, I was so surprised and so happy. About: I grew up in an animal loving home and have had them as pets since birth. I have open yard that is not fenced in but I have temporary fencing that I can use for dogs who require more outside time than lengthy walks. I have several crates that I can setup for dogs that need them or if you don't want to transport your own. I follow the owners lead if dogs are allowed on furniture, but if so, they are welcome to cuddle on the couch. I prefer that dogs sleep in their own bed, one of my loaner beds or a crate. I will honor the owners feeding schedule as to make the transition easy for everyone. I do have 2 cats in the home who have grown up around dogs their whole life and are generally ambivalent to them. “To say we were satisfied with the care Alyssa gave our little Max would be an understatement. We were camping in New Orleans and had events happening that would take us away from our motorhome for over 9 hours for a few days and did not think it wise to leave our small dog alone for so long so we needed to think of something. So for the first time we turned to the ROVER app. As this would be the first time we left our boy with a stranger we were very concerned but We had a meet and greet ahead of the actual dog sitting and it went so well …. we felt at ease right away with Alyssa and her own dog. Our Max and Alyssa’s Oliver hit it off right away … she is a wonderful person full of love, caring and is extremely pleasant. The second day we went to drop Max off he actually pulled me to her door and sat there waiting for her to open the door and when she did open the door he ran in as if he was home already. About: I grew up raising dogs and cats in my household. Since 2010 I've adopted pets on my own, cats and a dog. I currently have one cat I rescued as a kitten three years ago and a dog who loves to play that I rescued 2 years ago from a shelter. Im a teacher who loves spending time with pets and I enjoy the extra excitement that comes from watching little ones for those who are out of town. “Regina was awesome and we will definitely use her again! She suggested we had a little meet n great before confirming, which is always reassuring. She had another dog there during the meet n great, so we sat outside on her front porch, as to not intermingle the dogs. Then she took that dog out on a mini walk while Miley and I walked thru her beautiful and clean home. The fact that she was so meticulous following the wishes of the other dogs owner, made me know she was going to do same for me. Miley had some special needs during her visit (some medicine and specific food to curtail an upset stomach) and Regina didn’t mind at all. It was a little cold snap, so I brought Miley with a sweater. When I picked her up the next day, Regina had even sewn shut a hole that had been in that sweater, I was so surprised and so happy. She is so sweet and we will definitely be returning!”

About: I’ve been a dog groomer for 15 years. I’m very good at taking care of dogs, communicating with them and making them feel noticed and appreciated. I have a very open schedule due to me not being able to groom dogs right now due to an elbow injury. Left arm still works perfectly Petting, talking to them, regular feeding times. Long walks with play time. If toys are provided I will also use them during their play time.
About: I grew up raising dogs and cats in my household. Since 2010 I've adopted pets on my own, cats and a dog. I currently have one cat I rescued as a kitten three years ago and a dog who loves to play that I rescued 2 years ago from a shelter. Im a teacher who loves spending time with pets and I enjoy the extra excitement that comes from watching little ones for those who are out of town. I love showering pets with affection and all the care they need to be joyous and safe. I love walks and play time with all my animals. Getting to help make a pet feel loved would be a perfect use of my time.
About: We are a small family with a super friendly lab-hound mix named Charlie. Charlie loves to play with other dogs and is generous with his space and toys. Our six-year-old daughter loves meeting new animals, too. Our home is fenced all around so the dogs have a circle run as well as the backyard and front porch to play and relax. We travel and have used Rover for our dog and we’re happy to be on the other side hosting and caring for your pet. I have volunteer experience with multiple animal shelters and experience caring for both healthy pets and animals with special needs. The other side of our double shotgun is currently unoccupied so we have additional space to separate dogs if need be.
