“This was first time using Rover, and Lauren and Cody did a great job watching the dogs. The daily updates and pics were much appreciated. With the fireworks from the 4th going off, they made sure the dogs were taken care of. Would bring them back for another stay.”

“Second booking for our Layla and Peluche. Nicolette took good care of them and provided updates while we were away. They got attention and exercise that they couldn’t get from our prior boarding arrangements. Comforting to know they were well cared for while we were away. Highly recommend Nicolette.”

“Wow, just wow! Olivia has been an absolute blessing for my special needs dog, who can only use his front legs. Her professionalism and understanding nature made both me and my pup feel at ease immediately. Her daily updates and photos meant the world to me, and she even made sure my pup was clean and comfortable by asking before giving him a bath and washing his blankets. It's no amount of words that can express just how thankful I am to have found her. She's the absolute best, and I'll definitely be entrusting her with my dog again. Thanks, Olivia, for everything!”

“Hannah was great and our pup had so much fun! She was very responsive and kept us updated on how he was doing. I loved that she sent us pictures and videos too. We will definitely be using her again!!”

“Michael is my go-to dog sitter. He is a wonderful caretaker. He sends pictures and videos with his regular updates. My dog gets so excited whenever he sees Michael. It is such an assurance to know that our sweet boy is getting so much love and such great care while we are away. I HIGHLY recommend Michael. I'm sure that you will be as happy with him as we have been.”
“This was our second time boarding with Jason, with two days of daycare prior. As usual Mojo was well taken care of 😊 Pictures were sent which is awesome! For me to be able to see a daily picture made me feel at ease to see that Mojo was happy. Thank you Jason!”

“Ashley was a great sitter for our pups. She was very friendly, had a clean and well maintained home, she communicated well throughout their stay. I wouldnt hesitate to let her watch them again.”

“Christie was very responsive. She sent daily pics of my pup. This was my first time leaving my pup and she made me feel comfortable. I would definitely use her again in the future.”

“By far the best pet sitter I have ever had! Would recommend to any and everyone. Beetlejuice didn’t want to leave. Wonderful family and pups got along with him so well!”

“Bradley graciously accepted a short notice booking for our dog Ghost. He was very communicative and responsive leading up to and throughout the boarding stay. Bradley’s dog Beaux is very sweet, gentle & got along well with Ghost. We 100% recommend Bradley for boarding.”

“Aynavia kept me informed on Sheldon every day. She sent photos and updated me on his activity level. I felt very comfortable with her watching Sheldon while I was away on a work trip and I recommend her to anyone looking for a communicative and conscietious sitter.”

“Janelle was very attentive and supportive during my booking. She is very responsive and will provide you with update on your fur baby. She sends pictures and keeps you updated. I will definitely be booking with her again!!”
“Our dog Marley tends to be anxious in new situations since she was a shelter dog, but seemed comfortable in Amanda’s home the moment we walked in for drop off. It made me feel much better about leaving our newly adopted girl for over a week! She sent updates and pictures often while we were on vacation. Would not hesitate to use Amanda again for future dog sitting and will recommend her to my friends!”

“This was my first time booking on Rover and was a little nervous about leaving my dog with someone new. Shante sent daily pictures and videos of my dog which help ease that stress. He was in great hands”

“Savannah and Kadyn took awesome care of our dog, Rosie. They sent us multiple pictures and videos to keep us updated on how Rosie was doing and you could just see how much love and attention she was getting during her stay with them. Not only that, but they were so incredibly accommodating to us when the snow storm hit and our travel plans were disrupted. They even offered to have our dog stay the night before when we thought we may have had to leave earlier than expected. For pickup, they accommodated us once again, so we could pick up our dog late and then they were available when our time changed. They communicated with us so well the whole time and we are happy to have found a great dog sitter in Lafayette! We will definitely be using them again!”

“Thanks so much Keith you did a remarkable job taking care of my big boy Jerzey! If I could rate more than 5 stars you’ll definitely get them. Please keep up the good work. Will definitely be contacting you again when Jerzey needs a sitter. May God bless and keep you.”

“Chelsy was able to take my dog super last minute to board and was super helpful with pickup and dropoff! Chai loved her and I think she had a great time with Chelsy! I was also sent pictures and videos throughout her stay. Would recommend to anyone needing a dog to be boarded!”

“I have 2 (somewhat litter box trained) ferrets, and Ashley took great care of them, despite how messy I know they can be. Thank you so much! They’re free fed and have a water fountain, and both stayed full the whole week and a half I was gone. I was so scared of coming back to ferret poop all over my house, but the place was perfectly clean. She even worked with me when I forgot to leave my key under the mat. Thank you again!”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my experience growing up around cats and understanding their unique personalities and needs. I know that every cat is different—some love attention and playtime, while others prefer a calm environment and their own space. I take the time to learn each cat’s routine and make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while their owner is away. My goal is to provide patient, reliable care and make the experience as stress-free as possible for both cats and their owners.

About: I have had cats since i was a young girl. I have my very own right now named snooki 🩷 I understand some cats can be crazy or be chill and I am the best person to love and care for them ! I understand every cat has different needs and I can accommodate any!
About: Previously I’ve had 2 years of professional dog handling experience from working at dog daycare and boarding facilities. Every day, I would spend hours playing with pups of all different ages, breeds, and sizes. I worked hard to make sure they were fed (and medicated if needed), hand feeding them and sitting down with them if they were too anxious to eat in a new environment. I cared for at least 30 dogs a day, sometimes up to 60. All of them hold a special place in my heart, and I still remember over 200 names. There, I was taught the proper ways to handle and walk dogs. I was also trained on CPR in case of emergencies. Every dog I met had a different personality, so I had to learn from experience how to handle each and every one of them differently. Additionally, I own two cats and have knowledge in basic feline first aid, including CPR. I’ve also raised two litters of kittens in the past, from birth to when they became 2-3 months old. It would be an honor if you decide to choose me to care of your pet, cat or dog, it’s something that I greatly enjoy doing. No matter how big, small, rough, excited, or grumpy your pet is, I would love to care for them. No accommodation is too difficult for me. I’m currently in school at LSU with morning classes, so I’m only available to work past 3PM on weekdays. Most weekends, I’ll be available all day. Feel free to message me personally for any clarification. My services are restricted to walking and home visits, as I don’t have additional space to comfortably care for another pet in my own apartment. I feel confident caring for pets who do not have a fenced in backyard.

“Our dogs loved their play date with Kaitlyn! She was able to do a meet-and-greet on very short notice, too. Her first visit was just a visit for some playtime, but we hope to have her again soon!”

About: I’m a dedicated and experienced pet sitter with a genuine love for animals of all kinds. I understand that pets are family, and I take pride in providing them with safe, loving, and reliable care while you’re away. Whether it’s walking, feeding, playtime, or simply keeping your pet company, I treat every animal as if they were my own. I’m dependable, attentive, and excited to meet new furry friends and give them the best care possible!

“Samantha was an excellent cat sitter, and I would absolutely book her again. She was reliable, excellent at communicating, and clearly very attentive to our kittens. While we were away, she checked in with questions when needed, confirmed details, and reassured us that everything was taken care of. She followed feeding instructions carefully, made sure both the kittens and outdoor cats were cared for, and gave the kittens plenty of love and attention. It was such a relief knowing our pets were in caring, capable hands. Highly recommend Samantha to anyone looking for a trustworthy and kind sitter!”

“She was very patient with my cat. He is usually very friendly, but he was understandably a little frightened having been put into a new environment with a stranger. She kept open communication with me the whole time I was out of town and actively tried to become friends with him. By the end of my trip he was his usual self and being friendly with her. I would definitely let Oliver stay with Olivia again.”

About: I have experience with cats, reptiles, and dogs. I have experience with reactive and aggressive dogs and their care, as well as skittish dogs, and normal pups. As I am a small person, I cannot walk untrained giant breed dogs unfortunately, but I can more than happily dog sit and do drop in care! I love animals of all types and find great joy in caring for animals. I've worked with senior dogs, new born puppies, older puppies, rescue dogs, neglected dogs, and longtime family pups. I have experience with all sorts of cats, from skittish to cuddle bugs. I have some experience with training and find joy in helping dogs reach their best potential and learn new tricks. I've been caring for animals since I was at least 13 years old and intend to long into my future.

“Jada was great with my senior baby. She was always very attentive and affectionate with him. I never worried about him when I knew she was caring for him. She was on time and my house was always locked up tight when she left. Highest recommendation from me”

About: I have cared for my own dogs since I was very little, and I currently have three at home! I value play time and fun experiences for your pups! Reliability, accuracy, patience, and trustworthiness is a guarantee! I am currently a student at LSU. I have classes every weekday from mid-mornings to afternoons. On most weekends I’m free to provide care anytime. Overall, communication with the parents about what their pets needs is the most important step in giving excellent pet care. I can ensure that any pet under my wing will be safe and happy.

“Lauren was amazing with Woody!!! She kept me updated with pictures and videos throughout the day, which showed Woody having a fabulous day. I know Woody is looking forward to staying with Lauren and her family again. It definitely makes my heart rest easier knowing he’s in good hands when I’m not home. ❤️”

“Jason was great with Bowie! So glad we were able to find him in a pinch. Jason kept in great communication with us, and it was clear Bowie really enjoyed his stay.”

“I want to thank u so much jackpot has def learned good manners at your house he listens he is calmer just all around better behaved dog ! You're a blessing in so many ways ! 🐾💕”
“My experience with Robin was exceptional. I have used another sitter through Rover before and the experience was okay, but I noticed my puppy would come home very riled up and needing to immediately decompress. It often felt like I had to calm him down and get him back to his normal baseline. With Robin, the experience was completely different. When I picked him up, he was calm, relaxed, and acting exactly like he does at home. Even during the ride back, he settled into his crate and rested. That told me he was comfortable and well cared for during his stay. I was also a little nervous about having him around other dogs since he hasn’t spent a lot of time with other puppies. Robin was incredibly patient and reassuring. She allowed me to observe and helped me feel confident that he would be just fine, and he truly was. Another thing that stood out was how much my puppy liked her right away. As soon as he got out of the car, he was excited and curious about going inside, which meant a lot to me. I’m so glad I found Robin and truly look forward to working with her again. It’s clear my puppy felt safe and comfortable in her care.”

About: I have owned and lived with dogs and cats my whole life. I have 3 fur babies who are spoiled and well-loved, Mylo the Siberian Husky (2 years old), Lily the sweet mix breed rescue (6 years old), and Baxter the Dachshund Beagle rescue (7 years old) and 1 fur nephew, Rufus the Corgi (3 years old) who frequently stays with his cousins and auntie to play. We love the dog park, long walks (Mylo especially), and couch snuggles/naps. They enjoy chasing each other in the backyard and to birdwatch/neighborhood watch from the living room windows. I have experience with many breeds and all ages. Having two rescues myself I am also comfortable with rescue dogs who may need more time to warm up and trust you. I also love cats and have always had one-I just don’t currently have one. Fur babies aren’t just pets-they are family. I work from home with a very flexible schedule. I am available for walks, drop ins, and boarding any day of the week or weekend. I can come to you! I have a fenced yard and 3 fur babies who are dog friendly and love to play! I am happy to use crates if that is preferred. While I don’t mind your dog staying here with us, I am also able to come to your dog in your home if that is more comfortable.

About: Hi! I can’t wait to be introduced to your furry friends. After many years of looking after my family and friends’ pets, I’m well prepared for various types of pet personalities. I began pet sitting on Rover in 2021, but took a break after moving and life events. I’m thrilled to get started again! I have two pets of my own: a cat named Kitty and a mini dachshund named Benji. I take pride in my love for animals and I’m excited to begin working with you to provide your furry friends a safe and loving human to look after them😊 I’m currently working remotely as an Actuarial Analyst. I can provide thorough care throughout the day at my home, or visit/drop-in to your home before work, after work, or on my lunch break. I also would be able to work from your home if that works best for you! :) I’m able to adapt to any routine requested. At my home, I have a fenced in yard that my dog, Benji, loves to sunbathe in throughout the day! I do have a friendly cat, but he’s very shy and will stay in one of his numerous hiding spots or his gated, out-of-reach area when strangers come over. At your home, I will be very respectful of your area and remain focused on your furry friends’ needs.
“My dog absolutely loved him. He was anxious the first day but Keith really helped him get comfortable and by the third day he was happily running inside, not sparing me a second glance. Would 100% have Keith watch my dog again.”

“JC was great! Very organized and communicative. We loved getting all the updates throughout the day and had no doubt that our pet was being well cared for. Will definitely book again if we come to Baton Rouge again!”

About: I have over 15 years of experience caring for dogs, including dog sitting for friends and neighbors and owning my own dog for the past six years. As a dog owner, I understand how stressful it can be when your dog is out of sight, so I closely supervise dogs at all times and do not allow off-leash activity or interactions with unfamiliar dogs. Safety and attentive care are always my top priorities. I work remotely during the day and attend school in the evenings, so I am only away from home for a short period, about three hours. This allows me to provide consistent supervision, timely walks, and attentive care throughout the day. I have a fenced yard and one dog in my home. Dogs are always closely supervised, kept on leash outside the yard, and never allowed to interact with unfamiliar dogs. Safety, structure, and consistency are my top priorities.

I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I’m available for walks during the day/ evening and for house sitting or check ins. I will treat your baby like they’re my own! About: Hi! My name is Mackenzie and I’m looking forward to taking care of your pet(s). I have experience working as a vet assistant in an animal clinic and kennel. I also attend Louisiana State University as a pre-vet student. Alongside my work experience, I have grown up my whole life with dogs, cats, and guinea pigs. About 3 years ago, I adopted a senile dachshund from the shelter. He had many health problems and from working in the clinic and kennel I am very used to administering medicine. I also don’t mind cleaning up any messes your pet makes as I am very used to it. I am no doubt an animal lover and I’m looking forward to gaining more experience while working with your pets and taking care of them! I already have a part time job that I work in the evenings, 2-3x a week, but I am graduating soon and my availability will be very open during the day. I don’t work as much during the week, so after school I am usually pretty open. What days I am available does vary every week, but once again I only work about 2-3 nights during the week. I am definitely a workaholic and I make myself pretty available! After school, I have a pretty set schedule with how I care for my animals. I have a huge fenced in yard that my dogs run around in. I have a little fence blocking off my cats from my dogs so everyone has their own little area and my guinea pigs are kept in their own cages on tables in their own little area. All of my pets are in great health and not to mention they are all rescues!

“Tenay is a skilled and enthusiastic dog walker who keeps in touch when caring for pets. She sent photos and videos and I felt confident that he was Ok at all times.”

About: New to the app, Expert on care! I have been providing care for animals since the dawn of time(since i was 13). My compassion for animals lead me to my career of being a Vet Tech which i have been for the last 4 years. I am able to give love and care to all ranges from young to seasoned, big to small, & shy to overjoyed. I work full-time as a Vet Tech at a local veterinary office. I'm usually fully available anytime after 6p, my mornings varies; occasionally I work 9a- 6p, while others I'm either off or work 1p - 6p. I like to follow your schedule and routine as close as possible. I want to ensure your pet is comfortable and feels as if nothing has changed. (minus a new person in the house)
About: I am an animal obsessed graduate looking to fill my free time taking care of pets while I am on the hunt for a job. I’ve had my fair share of caring for dogs of all sizes and cats too! My pets are my family, and I will treat yours with the same respect. I know you want your pets left in the best care while you are away, so I am able to come do a meet and greet if preferred! Fun fact: I just went through a training program on how to better understand dog body language when they interact with other dogs and how to handle emergency situations when they arise! I am currently working part time and taking a couple courses for my Master's degree, so I have plenty of time (and energy) to care for your lovely pet. When I house sit, I will have to leave for a few hours a day for either class or work, but will spend ample time with your four-legged friend! In your home, full respect will be given to both your pets and your home. Walks and drop ins will not be spent browsing my phone, your four-legged friend has my full attention! Drop in visits can be tailored to the needs of your pet, and walks can be as active as your pup likes (I like to get those steps in). If your pup has decent leash manners and would like to take a run, I can provide that as well.

I keep their space tidy, offer lots of attention, and send consistent updates so you always know how they’re doing.
About: I’m an animal lover through and through! Hopefully one day soon, a professional pup groomer☺️ and I would love to spend time with your fur babies!! I would prefer to watch your pup(s) at my house since I do have fur babies of my own, or be able to bring my dog along with me to your house. Only if it’s safe to do so of course! Just for reference, my baby is a male, mini-dachshund. He’s 11 years old and is a timid, loving sweet boy. But if that’s not an option, that’s okay too! I also have two cats who are both loving and do well with dogs! If we’re boarding at my house, I can pickup and drop off for you as well. I work a Monday-Friday job, and am typically off by 4:30! Anytime outside of those hours will be allotted for the care of any fur babies you entrust me with(: I live in a quiet spot not far from LSU! I have a pretty big yard and safe walking areas for long walks. All I’ll need is a collar and leash (:
About: I’ve taken care of animals my whole life! Friends and family have trusted me with their animals when they‘ve gone out of town many times. I’m an Instructional Coach at a school in my district, so I won’t be home during the day unless it’s weekends or when I’m on break. During the summer though I’ll be home majority of the time. My sister lives with me and she has a dog, but they’re sweet and have their own room. I take care of pets by giving them food, water, and bathroom trips as often as needed. I also make sure to have play time with them, which is my favorite! I can make sure to give them any medicine or put them on a leash when going outside if that’s what you need.

“Ashley was a great sitter for our pups. She was very friendly, had a clean and well maintained home, she communicated well throughout their stay. I wouldnt hesitate to let her watch them again.”

“Bradley graciously accepted a short notice booking for our dog Ghost. He was very communicative and responsive leading up to and throughout the boarding stay. Bradley’s dog Beaux is very sweet, gentle & got along well with Ghost. We 100% recommend Bradley for boarding.”

About: I grew up with a Yorkie and now care for him in his senior years with doggy dementia, which has taught me the importance of patience, gentle routines, and creating a calm, comforting environment. Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays I get out of class for 11 and am free for the rest of the day. Tuesdays and Thursdays are a little tougher for me due to my classes being scattered throughout the day. I enjoy taking them on walks, giving them baths, playing with them, cuddling with them, feeding and taking them out, and just having an emotional support animal around me!
About: As a pet owner myself, I have experience with how to keep feeding routines, administer meds, walks, playtime, potty breaks, grooming and recognizing when something isn’t quite right. I’ll also provide regular updates and photos, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. I’m currently working remotely and part time. This leaves me plenty of time to care for pets on weekdays and weekends, throughout the day. Early mornings and late evenings are no problem. We have a private fenced in yard for those that need ample activity. Pets are cared for in the home but also have their own room for when they need a quiet corner.
“This family is absolutely amazing! They took such great care of my two dogs and it was a last minute booking! Atlas and Kira had such a good doggy vacation, I highly recommend booking with Kelbie!”

“Kenya took care of our Milo for 9 days while we were out of the country. And she was so awesome with him. She often sent us updates and pictures in regards to Milo while we were so far away. I really appreciated that so much! We will certainly book Kenya again! I wish I could give her more than 5-stars.”

“Nicest young couple; immediately made Turkey feel welcome in their home. Showed me around their backyard and home; helped me set up Turkey’s crate, and let me know Turkey was free to sleep in the crate or anywhere he wanted to. Very accommodating and sent me the cutest photos of Turkey and their 1 1/2 year old son playing/hugging each other. Will be my 1st choice sitter in the future.”

“Lauren kept our Pom Meryl for overnight boarding. First time for her to be away from us; second time to stay with Lauren. Meryl walked in like she owned the place! Lauren’s home is nice and inviting with a big back yard. Meryl was the only dog there this time. Lauren and her dtr were very attentive and caring with Meryl. Lauren sent me pictures and updates on how well Meryl was adjusting being away this long, which relieved me as well. We booked 3 nights for Mardi Gras holiday and feel like our baby will be in good hands.”

“Emery & Will were great. Emery put me at ease with this first visit. I appreciated all the messages and videos of Razi. Emery was super responsive. Loved the big yard for the dogs to play in!”

“Shayna thank you so much for taking care of Maxx. Keeping me updated with photos and whereabouts truly left a lasting impression and I felt comfortable leaving my pet with you. I will definitely be a return customer.”
