“Our puppies were very well taken care of. We were very happy with them when we picked them up. No stress! I think they wouldn't have minded if we stayed away a few more days. Nolvia exudes a love for animals.”

“Kelbie was fantastic! She picked up and dropped off Zummo, sent regular picture updates, and made sure he felt right at home. He came back happy and relaxed, and it was clear her whole family loved having him. I’ll definitely be booking with Kelbie again!”

“We felt comfortable leaving Luna in good hands. Ms Gabrielle was very accommodating with our schedules and we look forward to having Luna stay with her family in the future.”

“Aja was great with my 3 month old very active pup. She is very patient and dealt with him professionally. He was happy when we picked him up. She sent very regular updates and pictures which I much appreciate. You are made aware of everything and can go ahead with your day assured that your pet is in a safe and happy care. I would send my pup back to Aja whenever there is a need again.”

“Mochi's stay with Stacey was BETTER than we ever could have imagined! We truly cannot thank her enough for the wonderful care she showed our dog, or say enough nice things about Stacey. We got plenty of updates throughout our trip on how he was doing, as well as adorable pictures. Mochi was so happy when we picked him up (and he smelled great too)! We could tell Stacey had shown our pup lots of love. Stacey also sent us home with a great Easter basket with plenty of treats for the pup! We look forward to working with Stacey again the next time we have to go out of town! ps. Stacey's home is also right by the airport which made dropping off our dog and picking him up quick and convenient! ”
“This was first time using Rover, and Lauren and Cody did a great job watching the dogs. The daily updates and pics were much appreciated. With the fireworks from the 4th going off, they made sure the dogs were taken care of. Would bring them back for another stay.”

“Jessica was amazing with our fur-babies. She took them into her home and took excellent care of them during the holiday and helped them remain calm during nearby firework celebrations. We received pictures and got timely updates and responses. Can’t thank her enough and will definitely use her services again in the future.”

“Both Ruby & Dexter enjoyed the time with Demaris and family. The home and garden/yard are lovely plus both of my dogs got a lot of attention and pampering. I hate to admit it, my dogs looked and smelled better when I picked them up than when I dropped them off 😆”

“Melissa was the first sitter we used on Rover and we are very happy with our experience. She kept us updated and was easy to reach. She is very nice and was very sweet to our dog. We will definitely use her services again.”

“Lisa and Gizzy took great care of our Charlie! He can be a nervous nelly, but they put him at ease quickly as if he was part of the family from day one. Pics and updates were sent regularly. We are so grateful to have found you as Charlie’s home away from home!”

“Ben was wonderful! He was very prompt in all communications and ensured I had pictures and information about their day while we were gone! I will be using him again should the need arise! Thank you, Ben!”

“Rhys looked after my 6 month old lab mutt Adso for 5 days-that alone deserves more than 5 stars ? Beyond that, it was obvious Adso was given plenty of attention & he came home happy & healthy! We had great communication the whole time & pics when Adso would sit still. Definitely recommend ??”

About: What sets me apart from other pet sitters is my genuine love and passion for animals. I have the ability to connect with pets and make them feel comfortable and loved. My attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional care also makes me stand out. My clients can trust that their furry friends are in the best hands with me. I take pride in going above and beyond to ensure the happiness and well-being of every pet I care for. 🐾

About: What sets me apart is the genuine love and patience I have for animals. I’m 29 years old, born and raised in Louisiana, and I’ve been caring for pets for over 5 years. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, not just a job or side hustle. I understande how important it is to trust someone with your pets because they’re family. I have two cats of my own, so I know the importance of making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I’m experienced with both dogs and cats of different personalities, ages, and energy levels — from playful puppies and kittens to older pets that need extra patience and gentle care. I treat every pet like they’re my own, giving them attention, affection, playtime, and a calm environment so they feel secure and happy. I want pet owners to have peace of mind knowing their babies are in caring, reliable hands.need
About: I have been around dogs and a variety of house/farm pets my entire life. I have been taking care of dogs as long as I can remember. I currently have 2 dogs of my own that I love and care for very much! As a freelancer, I am regularly available. I am happy to be your regular dog walker or someone you call on every now and then. I understand that every fur baby is unique and come with different needs. I am happy to discuss your needs & expectations on an individual basis so we can create the best care plan for your pet.

About: I’ve been caring for cats since I was 10 years old and have over 15 years of hands-on experience. I’ve cared for my own cats as well as those of friends, family, and neighbors, including kittens, senior cats, and shy or anxious cats. I know that every cat has a different personality, so I take the time to earn their trust and make them feel comfortable while you’re away. I’m happy to feed, refresh water, scoop litter boxes, play, give plenty of affection (if they want it!), and keep you updated with photos and messages. I treat every cat as if they were my own and will make sure they receive the love, patience, and care they deserve.

“Olivia was great. I was updated multiple times a day. I received pictures and videos of my sweet boy Nyx. The overall experience was amazing. I do plan on booking with Olivia again if needed.”

About: I’m a cat owner myself, so I live the 'cat life' every single day. I know that every cat has a totally different personality some are cuddly, and others just want to be left alone in a sunbeam. I’m comfortable with all of it. I can tell the difference between a cat wanting attention or a leave me alone swat. I know their body language is very important! As a cat owner who's cat is shy, I know how to check on a shy cat without stressing them out but to also make sure they're eating and safe. As for the litter box I keep my own cat's box spotless, so I’ll do the same for yours. No smells, no tracking. As for the food I keep my own cat's water bowl clean and food bowl clean.
About: Hey there! I’m Sarah. I'm so excited to be here on Rover! I have been surrounded by animals my entire life. My mom was a rescue manager, so naturally, her love for furbabies poured over to me, as well. I grew up helping my mom with our furfamily, fosters, and I even went with her when she was pet sitting for family, friends, and neighbors. I wanted to be as much help as I could to my mom and them. Tho my mom doesn’t pet sit anymore, she is still my go to and may come with me from time to time to help. In mentioning my mom, she drinks coffee out of a mug that reads, "I WILL SAVE THEM ALL." I love that mug! We have a furfamily of 5 dogs and 2 cats. I love them all so much and am grateful for each of them. They make me smile from ear to ear on a daily basis. I also work full-time 3 to 1130 Thursday-Monsay. I could work on my off days, which is Tuesdays and Wednesdays, but that has to be midday visits/walks Available Thursday-Monday 7 AM to 3 PM. Of note, I will always do my very best to give plenty of notice for days I will not be available (ie. Holidays and personal time off, etc.). I offer drop-in services only. I am excited to have this opportunity to be there for you. I understand how important it is to be able to trust who takes care of your furbabies. I will indeed take care of your furbabies as if they were a part of my family.

“Jessica did a wonderful job. I got regular updates on my cat, and her communication regarding feeding and care routines was crystal clear. I will 100% be booking with Jessica again.”

I am looking forward to sharing my time and helping out with your fur baby! Have a blessed day!
About: I’ve had a pet my entire life. I’ve always been responsible to take care of them and provide for them! I’ve also watched many family and friends animals for them while they were on trips. I have a part time job but I am able to take off and my schedule is flexible. I would just need to know ahead of time if you need a sitter! I have a fenced in back yard with lots of grass to play in. I also have 2 dogs of my own. I would be able to provide treats and toys

I never take pets anywhere that clients have not given permission for. I don't have guests in clients' homes.

“Eryn was absolutely wonderful! She listened to all our directions and kept us up to date the whole time. She was patient and loving with our crazy animals and we are so grateful to her. We will absolutely use her again!”

About: Hi! I’ve had dogs my entire life and they’ve always been at the center of my world. My most recent pup, Effy, was with me for 15 years — she was truly the love of my life. While I’m not quite ready to have a dog of my own again, I couldn’t imagine my life without them, which is why I’m so excited to be here on Rover! Your pet will be loved and cared for like my own. I can’t wait to meet them I work from home Monday–Friday, so your pet will have my full attention throughout the day — no long stretches alone. I am able to work remotely so care during the day is no issue. I live in an apartment in Meraux above my dad’s office, so while there’s no yard, we have plenty of space to get outside for walks. There are stairs, but I’m happy to carry pets up and down as needed.

“Nolvia did an amazing job taking care of my two doggies. She made sure they were fed, cared for, and given lots of attention and love. My dogs were happy, comfortable, and clearly had a great time with her. It gave me peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. I highly recommend Nolvia to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter! 🐶💕”

“My apologies for this late review, but we are so grateful to Jessica for accommodating our travel schedules to watch Beau Kai for us. Beau Kai is pretty easy to deal with as long as he knows you're there within his reach. He was able to play with Jessica's puppy for company and was ready for day two. Jessica is just as laid back and understands the needs of our beloved fur ones. We will definitely reach her again in the near future! Blessings Jessica and thanks again! About: Hi! We’re Seth and Farrah, the team behind 504Doghouse. We’ve both grown up around animals our entire lives, and together we bring a wide range of hands-on experience with dogs, cats, and even farm animals. We love what we do and treat every pet like family. ⸻ Our Pet Care Experience From Seth: I’ve had dogs for as long as I can remember, but my lifelong dog Phoebe — a miniature schnauzer — taught me what it really means to care for a pet from childhood through adulthood. Later, I fostered a high-energy Lab/Pit mix named Bella, who showed me how different breeds have different needs, personalities, and training styles. After serving in the military, I rescued my dog Deku, a border collie–schnauzer mix who learned full obedience and trick training within months. I’ve also helped raise my brother’s Catahoula/Blue Heeler mix, Snoop — another high-energy, intelligent dog who taught me how to handle rough play and stubborn behavior. I’ve worked at Petco handling small animals, volunteered at shelters, and now regularly walk dogs, giving me experience with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. From Farrah: I’ve cared for cats and dogs my entire life, and my Boston Terrier — who I walked and ran with for over 10 years — shaped my understanding of daily pet care, consistency, and companionship. As an adult, I fostered a kitten for almost a year and have been house-sitting for the past 3 years. I’ve cared for up to 4 cats, 2 dogs (large and small), and even goats and chickens for the family I regularly house sit for. Managing different species and routines has taught me how to stay organized, patient, and attentive to each pet’s individual needs. ⸻ What We Offer ✔️ Safe, fun, controlled walks ✔️ Drop-ins with detailed updates and photos ✔️ Experience with high-energy breeds, seniors, and multi-pet homes ✔️ Respect for your home and your pet’s routine ✔️ A reliable two-person team for added flexibility and attention We’re patient, energetic, and passionate about giving every pet the care they deserve. Whether your pet is playful, shy, anxious, or full of energy, we’re great at meeting them where they are and helping them feel comfortable and loved. Pet care fits easily into our weekly routine because we both have flexible schedules. Here’s how we manage our availability: • Seth works part-time, which leaves plenty of open hours during the day for walks and drop-ins. • Farrah is currently pregnant and stays at home, so she’s almost always available to give consistent attention and care. • Walks are offered between 9 AM–6 PM. • Drop-ins are available until 8 PM. • Weekends and special situations can be accommodated upon request. • Because there are two of us, we’re able to provide reliable coverage, flexibility, and quick communication. We keep our schedule open to make sure your pet’s routine stays steady, stress-free, and well cared for. We take safety and trust seriously in every situation. When we’re caring for pets in your home, we follow your routines exactly, keep doors and gates secured, use your preferred equipment, and make sure everything is clean and locked up before we leave. For walks and drop-ins, we use safe, controlled walking practices, avoid risky dog interactions, watch weather conditions, and always keep your pet on leash. We send updates and photos so you know how your pet is doing. Overall, we treat every pet like our own. With two of us working together, your pet gets reliable attention, consistency, and a calm, safe environment every time.

But after our experience with Lisa we will use Rover again. We are traveling across country and not every place is dog friendly. Thanks Lisa.”

About: For over 10 years, I’ve been the trusted pet sitter for friends and family. My duties are basically stopping in to make sure pets are fed, have fresh water, and most importantly, feel cared for while their humans are away. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, whether that’s going for walks, tossing a favorite toy, or just keeping them company. My experience is mostly with drop-ins and walks, and I take pride in being reliable, attentive, and making pets feel safe and happy in their own environment. I work full time, spending two to three days in the office and the rest working from home, which gives me a flexible schedule. During the week, I’m available for afternoon walks and early morning or evening drop-ins. On weekends, I can do drop-ins up to three times a day and am available for walks at almost any time. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I always start by checking the space to make sure everything is safe and clean, just in case there was an accident or something seems off. I make sure they have fresh water, food, and a treat if it’s part of their routine. Depending on the pet’s needs, we’ll either head to the yard or go for a walk around the neighborhood. I approach every visit with a calm and nurturing energy, which helps pets feel safe and relaxed around me. Building trust and creating a peaceful environment is always my priority.
“It can be hard to find sitters willing to help with challenging dogs, and I have a very sweet pup who, unfortunately, has some separation anxiety that means she can’t be left home alone at this point. Julia agreed to watch her for some daycare while my husband and I attended a family birthday party, and she also was great about setting up a Meet and Greet about a week beforehand so that Sable could be introduced to Julia and her own pups. Julia sent pictures and updates while we were away, and I appreciated her honesty when I asked how Sable did. It seems as though Sable was only mildly embarrassing and didn’t put Julia through too much hassle, so I’m very grateful to have someone trustworthy and kind to leave my pup with! Thank you so much!”

“Melissa is the exact kind of person you can trust leaving your fur baby with. I felt very comfortable at her spacious tidy place and I know my puppy did too. She took him outside nearly every hour since he’s only 3 months. She sent updates with pictures and was flexible with pick up time since it was a group event I was attending. I will definitely request Melissa next time I’m in or around Berkeley :)”

“We seriously cannot recommend Madison enough. She was absolutely incredible with our boys! She made us so at ease when visiting from out of town and even got our senior dog to play 🥹 She went above and beyond with her updates & photos and I truly know they were so loved with her. Thank you so much Madison, our new go-to New Orleans sitter!!”

“Liz was a SUPER sitter for our girls! She had a few other dogs who she was also watching, which made me feel very comfortable - because that indicated others felt she was ALSO a great sitter! We will be re-booking her for tomorrow (Thanksgiving) - and will definitely keep her on our sitter list for when we travel to New Orleans.”

“My husband Emile and I were very pleased and grateful for the care that Damaris and Jose’ provided our Emma! You can tell that they are animal lovers and treated her like their own! They have a lovely home and yard and sent pictures and videos of her stay. In the past, Emma has been cared for by family members. It’s nice to know that we have someone else turn to!”

About: I have years of hands on experience caring for dogs for friends, neighbors, and family, often stepping in for walks, feeding, and daily care when they're out of town. I'm dependable, detail oriented, and I make sure each dog's routine is followed so they stay comfortable and stress free while their owners are away. This flexibility also allows me to take on regular or last-minute bookings and be reliable for pets and their owners. I follow each pet’s routine and instructions closely to keep things consistent and stress free. I handle feeding, walks, and basic care in the client’s home, and make sure pets get the attention and exercise they need based on their normal habits, personality, and daily routine.

About: I love being engaged and active with each and every fur baby I’m blessed to watch. I love seeing their individual personalities blossom and grow! I can travel if needed. I create my schedule around my clients wants and needs. I try my best to be as flexible as possible because life happens to all of us. I am very willing to travel beyond the 60 mile radius allowed. I make sure to stay on any established schedule they may have and make sure that each and every one has the love and affection they so deserve.
About: Cornerstone Gundog Academy member and founder of the South LA chapter, I train a Boykin spaniel through trust-based, collar-free methods that empower dogs to think independently. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly rhythm. I work full-time weekdays, but weekends are fully open for boarding. With our first baby arriving soon, I’ll be staying local and can offer consistent attention. Dogs used to weekday routines can be accommodated with flexible care, ensuring they’re comfortable and well looked after even during my work schedule. At our home, dogs enjoy a safe, fully fenced play yard where they get plenty of exercise, enrichment, and interaction. Whether they’re boarding for the weekend or just dropping by during the week, each dog receives thoughtful attention based on their routine and personality. I focus on trust-based handling methods to make every visit feel comfortable and stress-free.
About: I own five different breeds of dogs and I have had my oldest since I was 10 years old. And that has taught me how to value animals in a different way Well with my schedule I have it worked around to where I can spend the majority of my day with my dogs to go around their feeding schedules and play time I have a well fenced yard and two well fitted crates if your dogs need it and all of my pets are really friendly. I have many toys and treats
About: I have worked in veterinary clinics for over two years and I currently work as a veterinary technician at an animal shelter. I’ve also house sat for a number of clients with animals that required frequent care and attention. I also offer nail trims and baths, including medicated baths if necessary I have just recently moved to Louisiana and I look forward to meeting as many clients as possible to hopefully build a relationship. I would like to be your go-to sitter! My number one goal is to make owners comfortable while away, knowing that their best friends and fur-children are in good hands while also ensuring that your home is well taken care of. I have years of experience and multiple return clients that can back this up! Also, my veterinary experience allows me to administer medication effectively as well as special treatments if it is needed.
“Ayanna was such a wonderful person to have walk our dogs while my mom was away. One of our dogs takes a little time to warm up to people but after a day when she realized Ayanna was there to help her, she gladly joined her sister in their daily walks. It was great knowing they were in good hands! Thanks you, Ayanna!”

About: I’ve been walking and caring for animals since I was a young child, so I bring a lot of hands-on experience and confidence in handling pets of all kinds. Over the years, I’ve developed a strong understanding of animal behavior and how to keep them safe, happy, and well-exercised. I’m currently working from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability to dedicate time and attention to pet care. I’ve developed strong time management and organizational skills that translate well into pet walking and training. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to be available during key times of the day for walks, check-ins, and consistent training sessions. Since I’m already accustomed to planning my day around routines, I’m able to reliably incorporate pet care into my schedule while maintaining a high level of attention and consistency. This flexibility also means I can accommodate client needs more easily and provide dependable, attentive care for their pets. I provide a safe and trustworthy environment by prioritizing consistency, attentiveness, and clear communication. Because I work from home, pets are never left unattended for long periods, and I’m able to closely monitor their behavior, comfort, and safety at all times. My experience working with animals since childhood has taught me how to recognize signs of stress or discomfort early and respond appropriately. I also maintain a clean, organized space and follow any specific instructions from pet owners regarding routines, feeding, and training. Building trust is very important to me, so I make sure to communicate regularly with updates and ensure each pet is cared for with patience, reliability, and genuine attention.
About: All the Doggies sleep with me in my bed! They are allowed on furniture & anywhere they’d like to be comfortable. I worked for Companion Animal alliance in Baton Rouge working with dogs & cats as a caretaker. I mobile groom for people around the Livingston parish area & I’m well known on the nextdoor app. I have a bunch of references! I am very passionate about your fur babies & one day will open up my own business building for grooming/boarding & as new clients you would be adding to my fund for that. It has been my life long dream to accomplish this one day & I am going to keep working towards that. I want to expand this business into something much bigger & for people to feel at ease with leaving your babies in the care of someone who will love them unconditionally. All you have to bring for your baby is their dog food/cat food. I have dog/cat bowls, leashes, toys, puppy pads, litter boxes, litter, cat toys, cat/dog beds, ( I supply dog treats ) I do not put the babies in kennels unless instructed to do so by you if you bring your own. At bed time I put on relaxing music for the dogs to calm down & sleep, heating pads for cold nights, lots of blankets & beds. Any of their comfort items I would suggest bring with them. I do live in a new trailer, lots of room for your babies to roam & play! non smoker. I have experience with large dogs to small dogs, senior dogs & ones with bad anxiety or kennel aggressive ect. I also have experience with birds, especially parrots. I know how to handle in any situation when it comes to different behaviors from animals. I am also pit bull friendly 💕 The babies I board/doggy daycare have FREE ROAM. Which means they can go as they please anywhere in my home, they can sleep with me or they can sleep on the couches or their beds, but If you prefer your baby in a kennel at night, I will respect your wishes. I only have one kennel designated just for that.. You will receive lots of pictures/videos & updates to the point where it may be a little annoying but you’ll never have to text me first checking on them. I give them lots of love! I stay home everyday with the babies, so they will get all of the attention they need. The night before pick up/drop offs, I do give them a bath, each one no matter what. I can pick your dog up or drop them off, I have never had an issues with any dogs fighting, running off or accidents. I am VERY experienced in RUNNERS, the ones who wait for you to open the door to escape. Never had a runner succeed in getting away. I can clip your babies nails & give them a little trim if need be free of charge. If your dog needs medication I can administer it to them at the times needed. Prozac, prednisone, insulin, antibiotics ect, I’m familiar with all. Thank you for taking the time to read this & hopefully you have found the right sitter for your baby/babies. 🐶 I bring the babies to the dog park twice a week along with water treats & toys. I can manage 5 at a time ( leashed ) I do have a fenced in yard with a doggy pool, it’s covered & has pet turf. Lots of room for your baby to play!! This is what I do for a living! I eat breathe & sleep doggies. I stay home full time & when I say full time it’s me & the pups home everyday. I LOVE & taking care of your 4 legged sweetie pies, when you book with me it will allow me to continue to care for the fur babies & accomplish my life long dream to open up a bigger place to care for more. 💕 I truly appreciate repeat customers, but with inflation the way that it is, the cost of gas being so high, I had to make the difficult decision to raise my prices up to $2 more since last year. I understand if you choose to look elsewhere for services, but I hope that you choose to continue to use me. & for new clients ❤️ I have a small male dachshund that gets along with animals & kids very well! I am 100% committed to your pets to make them & you comfortable with my services. I treat my clients babies just like I would my baby!

We can’t wait to use Beth again!”
