About: I’ve been taking care of animals my whole life but I really got into it when I was around 10 years old. I’ve been taking care of horses, dogs, cats, birds, fish, goats, reptiles, rodents, etc! I find peace in training dogs and have been for about 10 years now. I’m currently in school for Animal Health and Behavioral Sciences to get my certification in dog training! I love seeing a happy owner with the progress of their dogs. It’s incredibly rewarding for me! I’ve dealt with dogs from all walks of life so no dog is too scary or too big for me. Your pet will be in great care with me! I currently have a full time job, however, we do have long weeks and short weeks as well as working nights and days. I typically watch over friends and family’s pets on my short weeks but I can also be flexible on my long weeks as I live 5 minutes from my job. On the nights that I work, my husband will be home to aid in any extra care your pets may need. I have a fenced in yard, a little on the smaller side but I also offer to take dogs on walks and can bring them to the dog park as my 3 dogs love going there! My fur babies are super sweet and playful. If your pet needs crate training or potty training, I’m an expert as I’ve raised several puppies throughout my life. I also don’t mind giving your pet medication and/or supplements as my dogs get special food and supplements everyday! They are up to date on vaccines and flea, tick, dewormer is administered every month! While my house isn’t the biggest, I always make sure to make other pets feel at home and safe while they’re here.

About: Hello neighbors and fellow pet parents! My name is Allie and I am a full time night shift RN. What full time means for me: I work three 12 hour night shifts per week and on those days and for half the day after my 3rd shift I don’t offer pet sitting services because your animals deserve all the attention. It also means that I am home 4-5 days out of the week all day. I have two indoor/outdoor cats named Karma and Mo. I also have a sweet 7lb Chiweenie named Murphy. All of my animals are fixed and UTD on vaccinations. I have a large fenced in back yard that has plenty of room for more paws. My cats keep to themselves and are used to Murphy’s zoomies. Murph loves dogs and cats of all sizes as well as children (talk to me about babysitting as well). I am just looking to give Murphy some socialization and playtime with friends on my off days and have more doggos to pet 🥰 I am home during the daytime and I work 3 night shifts per week that is not a set schedule. I will update my specific availability every month. I have a large fenced in backyard and I live close to Lafreniere park for frequent walks if the weather is right. Murphy loves laying in the sun and running around with any animal that will play with him. He even befriended a neighborhood turtle. I also love the outdoors so you can expect me to sit outside and play with the dogs while enjoying the sun myself. We love outside but we are also couch potato’s on my off days! All of my pets sleep in bed with me but Murphy is also crate trained and stays in his crate when I work and is able to be crated if necessary.

I had an emergency situation come up and needed somebody to look after my 3 dogs for an ambiguous amount of time (I did not know if I was going to be looking at a daycare sitch or a multi-day stay.) What they like to do? If they have any bad habits, or typical habits of their age, for example, if they like to chew on things, or eat grass. Do they have fleas or ticks, been vaccinated, and/or if they have skin allergies or any medical issues I need to be aware of? Spayed or neutered. If they prefer being inside or outside. How many times they need to go out. Their feeding schedule and how many cups? Anything that will make me aware of their needs and protect them for we all want the best for all our dogs. My house has a large yard and is fully fenced in. I live here with my father who helps me and my yorkie. I'll send pictures and will call you about your dog as you be available or want to get it. I only accept maximum 2 dogs each time. I don't appreciate dogs inside the cage (only by request) so must of the time they are free on their own separate space. I have my own grooming salon in my house, and I will be able to offer grooming services as an extra.

About: At tia ale's house , your fur baby is not an animal or pet. They are part of our family... not only will they be loved and cherished (that is a given) but also we will try to enrich their curiosity and animal nature!! (depending on their breed & preferences) fetch, walks, bubbles, and sniffing activities will be part of our day! as well as snacks and fresh ice cold water. Your fur baby will have a vacation away from home at Tia ale's house. I have plenty of time for their care, entertainment since I’m home 24/7. We would get up early in the morning and exercise then mind stimulation during the afternoon. Bed time would be from 7-9 pm depending on how tired your fur baby is. I have a fenced yard, and cameras around the house. We also have a nice backyard that gets sprayed every 3 months for fleas and bugs.

About: I have been around dogs and a variety of house/farm pets my entire life. I have been taking care of dogs as long as I can remember. I currently have 2 dogs of my own that I love and care for very much! As a freelancer, I am regularly available. I am happy to be your regular dog walker or someone you call on every now and then. I’ve also fostered dogs for Take Paws Rescue, from young puppies to senior dogs, which has given me experience with pets of all ages and personalities. About: I’ve spent my whole life taking care of my dogs. Throughout college I had many roommates with cats and grew a love for them as well. Growing up I used to make treats for animal shelters and had a dream of being a vet. Since I’ve realized how much of a dedication vet school is, this seems like a fun way to incorporate my love for animals into something part time. :) I love cardio and am always down for a morning, afternoon, and even night runs. About: I have always had a passion for animals goes beyond care. I have 2 cats, a leopard gecko, and an African Dwarf frog as my own pets. I have volunteered at animal shelters and worked in a veterinary clinic for a summer as a vet tech. I am also able to help with other types of pets as well, such as reptiles or mammals! I had a pet rabbit for 10 years and plenty experience with reptiles! I currently work part time right by lakeside mall, so I am available before I go in, during my lunch break (1 hour), and after I get off (latest will be 5:30) I am able to play with your pets/walk your dogs in the mornings before I go to work, during my hour long lunch break, and/or when I get off of work! About: Hi! I’ve had dogs my entire life and they’ve always been at the center of my world. My most recent pup, Effy, was with me for 15 years — she was truly the love of my life. While I’m not quite ready to have a dog of my own again, I couldn’t imagine my life without them, which is why I’m so excited to be here on Rover! Your pet will be loved and cared for like my own. I can’t wait to meet them I work from home Monday–Friday, so your pet will have my full attention throughout the day — no long stretches alone. I am able to work remotely so care during the day is no issue. I live in an apartment in Meraux above my dad’s office, so while there’s no yard, we have plenty of space to get outside for walks. There are stairs, but I’m happy to carry pets up and down as needed.

About: Hey there! I’m Sarah. I'm so excited to be here on Rover! I have been surrounded by animals my entire life. My mom was a rescue manager, so naturally, her love for furbabies poured over to me, as well. I grew up helping my mom with our furfamily, fosters, and I even went with her when she was pet sitting for family, friends, and neighbors. I wanted to be as much help as I could to my mom and them. Tho my mom doesn’t pet sit anymore, she is still my go to and may come with me from time to time to help. In mentioning my mom, she drinks coffee out of a mug that reads, "I WILL SAVE THEM ALL." I love that mug! We have a furfamily of 5 dogs and 2 cats. I love them all so much and am grateful for each of them. They make me smile from ear to ear on a daily basis. I also work full-time 3 to 1130 Thursday-Monsay. I could work on my off days, which is Tuesdays and Wednesdays, but that has to be midday visits/walks Available Thursday-Monday 7 AM to 3 PM. Of note, I will always do my very best to give plenty of notice for days I will not be available (ie. Holidays and personal time off, etc.). I offer drop-in services only. I am excited to have this opportunity to be there for you. I understand how important it is to be able to trust who takes care of your furbabies. I will indeed take care of your furbabies as if they were a part of my family.

“We are so thankful for Jon! He did an INCREDIBLE job watching our pack of 4 poms over our wedding weekend! We have never used Rover before or left our dogs overnight and were pretty nervous. We even got on a call with Jon prior to booking and he was more than willing to answer our millions of questions. He was flexible with drop off and pick up times (we drove into NOLA from STL) and was so patient with my "helicopter parent" husband that wanted to set up their beds himself and was so anxious to leave them. Jon's house is also on a side street that made drop off really easy. We received multiple updates and the cutest photos the whole weekend! Our pack definitely had a great time. They loved the backyard! We have a senior dog with mobility issues that he was very careful with, and another pom with some hearing and vision loss and he was wonderful with both. It was very obvious that Jon loves dogs and took care of our fur babies like they were his own! When we picked the pups up he had everything packed up which was a huge time saver since we were driving back home. He had even ran one of our blankets through the dryer so they would have a warm spot to lay since the weather had gotten cold that morning! It is so difficult to trust someone else with your animals, and we were lucky to find such a caring and thoughtful Rover. I am very knowledgeable when it comes to animals! I would love to watch your animals and let them come over and play! I am a teacher, and have two young boys. My 4 year old will give your pet all the exercise and playtime! I do have cameras inside so I can watch throughout the day also! Other than being at school, I am always home! I have a fenced in yard and two dogs to keep your dogs company! We also have a large empty lot next to us that the dogs could run around and play in!
