About: I volunteer on my off time at my local dog rescue. I also have fostered many dogs in the past year for Caddo shelter and Parish Paws. I grew up around dogs and own two of my own who are always willing to play with other dogs. If there’s ever a concern of aggressive I separate the dogs when let out for potty breaks or in the house. I am taking off work for the next two months so my schedule is open minus a couple dates here and there. You can expect me home majority of my days. “Lidda was wonderful. Callie is a blind geriatric cat with some medical issues that includes daily IV fluids. Lidda made sure Callie had her meds on time and did an excellent job with the daily IV. She fed Callie and made sure her litter was clean. She, also, spent extra time with Callie giving her cuddles and attention, which was very reassuring to me as a cat Mama. She has a warm smile and a loving heart. This was the first time I have ever left Callie with anyone, The general rule is, "If Callie can't go, I don't go." This was just one of those few times when it just wasn't possible for her to go and I had to go. She did such a great job that I will probably be utilizing her services again in a few months. I have full confidence in her and in her care of Callie.”

About: My own girl, Minerva, recently passed away (in her late teens). She was with me for over half my life, but I was there for all of hers. She was a squirrelly girl, so no cat is too weird. I’ve watched other people’s cats for over 6 years, mostly me worshipping the ground they walk on and scooping the box. If the kitty wants to cuddle, I’m all for it. About: I have had a dog for as long as I can remember. I grew up taking care of our family dogs and would occasionally dog sit for others. I am able to give your dog the care they need in order to be comfortable and enjoy their time while you are away. I am currently a student at USA. I am home most of the day, when I am not in class. I live 4 minutes from campus so your dog will never be left alone for more than 2 hours at a time. I only have class once a day. I have a fenced in back yard and a golden doodle of my own that is very playful and gets along with other dogs very well. We go on walks daily and have lots of playtime.

I made the decision to take an early retirement after twenty-two years at Northwestern State University when my husband and I relocated to Shreveport and both of our children went off to college. As a volunteer, I cleaned kennels, administered medications, walked and played with dogs, worked with basic training techniques and leash walking, and evaluated and monitored dog behaviors and personalities for proper socialization and integration with other dogs including aggressive and high anxiety dogs. I treat all animals as if they are my own. I love all fur babies big, small, young, and old. I am available at any time and since I am retired, I am able to provide drop-in services, walks, and overnight care (for socialized and house trained dogs who are current on all shots and flea/tick preventives), including medication administration and care for aggressive and high-anxiety dogs. I have no problems with cleaning up accidents and will ensure that your home stays clean of messes. I am also a firm believer in sending pictures while you are away so you can be comforted that your dog (or cat) is receiving nothing but the upmost care and love while you are away. No requested service is to great or small! I would welcome the opportunity to help you with care needs for your fur babies! Since I am retired, I am available at any time for drop-ins, walks, and overnight boarding (socialized and house trained only). I am also able to work around flexible and changing schedules. About: I've taken in every size animal fostering, watching other friends dogs while they were away, we enjoy all dogs big or small. I love them all! We have land to run around and play. Away from the highway/road. I also have chickens, goats, and ducks. They are use to my labs and weenie dog and are unbothered by other dogs. Boarding can be provided seven days a week pending availability. Full time care provided. If roundtrip transportation is provided, your pup will be picked up at the agreed time and a safety belt clip will be used to safely transport him or her. Dogs will have opportunities to play inside and outside and length of time outside will depend on temperature and weather conditions. Outside playtime may include time to splash in the splash pool, dig in the doggy sandbox for surprises, pop bubbles, and time to run and play in a really large doggy themed fenced play yard in a country setting. Indoor playtime includes access to a large dog themed room with doggy shows on their own TV while lounging on their pet size furniture or playing with toys. There will be much needed nap time whenever a nap is needed. Meals (provided by owner) will be scheduled at times agreed upon and dogs will be fed separately. After a fun-filled day, transportation home will be provided at the pre-arranged time (if applicable). Every night is Movie Night while boarding. About: I’m a military member waiting to continue my training. I would love to spend my time playing and walking pets. I have had a dog since I was 5 years old and a cat since I was 7. I love all animals dearly. I worked through Rover at my last assignment as well! My week days are typically very free and I can be available on a moments notice. I can plan ahead to be available on weekends as well. I unfortunately cannot take animals into my home but promise to respect your home and your pets. About: I can train puppies as early as 6 weeks old. This includes house training as well. For elder dogs it may take longer to train, but it is still possible. About: I work with Chimpanzees at Chimp Haven! I also have two amazing cats named Bellion and Kid! In addition I also have a bearded dragon named Thor. I have had animals since I was 3 and I have been caring for animals since then. I have experience walk training dogs and I have plenty of regular training experience as well. I use to volunteer with multiple dog and cat no kill shelters where I would walk, play, and groom with both dogs and cats. I would also go to events and communicate with potential adopters for these dogs, as I did these events I would be walk training the dogs so that when they get adopted they would know! I do work a full time job from 7am-4pm every day. My evenings are completely free and I currently have Saturdays and Sundays off from work so I am free all day on those days to help train or walk pets! Since my evenings are free I can check up or even stay the night to take care of your babies! My cats and lizard are very spoiled in our home. They sent me pics of her going for a walk. I was really concerned about the attachment issues and the worry behind them. About: I volunteer on my off time at my local dog rescue. I also have fostered many dogs in the past year for Caddo shelter and Parish Paws. I grew up around dogs and own two of my own who are always willing to play with other dogs. If there’s ever a concern of aggressive I separate the dogs when let out for potty breaks or in the house. I am taking off work for the next two months so my schedule is open minus a couple dates here and there. You can expect me home majority of my days. My pets are always fed and given water through the day and let o it frequently. They enjoy playing fetch or running in the yard and going on car rides or walks.
