About: I have 4 dogs of my own and one cat. I have cared for pets as long as I can remember. My dogs are all house trained and crate trained they also are well mannered and like other pets. I can house train and also train dogs to do certain tricks. I'm 27 years old and own my own home with a large fenced in back yard. My house has no carpet so accidental pet messes can be cleaned easily. I have my own transportation to house sit or dog walk any time I am needed. About: I’ve loved animals since I was young. I grew up with goats, cats, dogs, bunnies, and many more fun critters. I find a lot of joy being around animals. When I was 9 I helped my family’s pet goat give birth and helped raise them until they were rehomed to different farms. That is just one of the many fun stories I have from growing up surrounded by a variety of animals. I’m pretty comfortable with all personalities of pets and am very accommodating to specific routines and lifestyles. I used to work at a pet hospital so, that educated me on how to care for injured or sick pets. As well as, how to handle different behaviors of pets to benefit their safety and day to day life. I believe that all pets deserve kind and loving care no matter the age. I’m currently a stay at home wife with plenty of time to care for your fur babies! I’m available Monday-Saturday all day and Sundays after 12 PM, unless we make special accommodations for overnights or other accommodations. I live in a quiet neighborhood and have a large fenced in yard with plenty of room for playing and exercise. I also have two dogs that love making new friends. For boarding at my house I like to let the dogs have plenty of outside time. Whether it’s in the backyard playing, going on a walk, or a trip to the dog park. I am happy to crate your dog if requested- one of my dogs are crated when they are home alone due to anxiety so I understand the necessity if needed. For overnight stays in your home, it is completely up to your discretion how you’d like me to care for your pets. About: I volunteer on my off time at my local dog rescue. I also have fostered many dogs in the past year for Caddo shelter and Parish Paws. I grew up around dogs and own two of my own who are always willing to play with other dogs. If there’s ever a concern of aggressive I separate the dogs when let out for potty breaks or in the house. I am taking off work for the next two months so my schedule is open minus a couple dates here and there. You can expect me home majority of my days. My pets are always fed and given water through the day and let o it frequently. They enjoy playing fetch or running in the yard and going on car rides or walks.

About: I know that you have many options for care. I have been working through Rover since early 2020 and would like to share some information about myself. I made the decision to take an early retirement after twenty-two years at Northwestern State University when my husband and I relocated to Shreveport and both of our children went off to college. This move gave me the opportunity to pursue a job that I ❤️ and am passionate about. I believe dogs and cats are the most awesome of Earth's creatures, and, in my eyes, are such precious members of our families. I am a long-time dog and cat owner and currently a parent to three rescued dogs. I also was an active volunteer and Board Member for Natchitoches Hope for Paws dog rescue from 2012 to 2022. During this time, I worked with 150+ rescued dogs at the site and through the foster program. I found so much pleasure and enjoyment working as a rescue volunteer and wanted to expand my love and care of these most precious of animals. As a volunteer, I cleaned kennels, administered medications, walked and played with dogs, worked with basic training techniques and leash walking, and evaluated and monitored dog behaviors and personalities for proper socialization and integration with other dogs including aggressive and high anxiety dogs. I treat all animals as if they are my own. I love all fur babies big, small, young, and old. I am available at any time and since I am retired, I am able to provide drop-in services, walks, and overnight care (for socialized and house trained dogs who are current on all shots and flea/tick preventives), including medication administration and care for aggressive and high-anxiety dogs. I have no problems with cleaning up accidents and will ensure that your home stays clean of messes. So, about 10 years ago, I started working at a doggy daycare and boarding facility and it was the experience of a lifetime! It's easily the coolest job I've ever had. I've gotten to learn a lot about pet care. It's a special feeling to get to get to know and watch pups grow up. I worked under an animal behaviorist in DC for several months before ending up down here in the Bossier area! About: I work with Chimpanzees at Chimp Haven! I also have two amazing cats named Bellion and Kid! In addition I also have a bearded dragon named Thor. I have had animals since I was 3 and I have been caring for animals since then. I have experience walk training dogs and I have plenty of regular training experience as well. I use to volunteer with multiple dog and cat no kill shelters where I would walk, play, and groom with both dogs and cats. I would also go to events and communicate with potential adopters for these dogs, as I did these events I would be walk training the dogs so that when they get adopted they would know! I do work a full time job from 7am-4pm every day. My evenings are completely free and I currently have Saturdays and Sundays off from work so I am free all day on those days to help train or walk pets! Since my evenings are free I can check up or even stay the night to take care of your babies! My cats and lizard are very spoiled in our home. They get fed twice a day and plenty of love and play time. I absolutely adore animals and I want to make sure your pets are taken care of while you're at work or vacation!
About: I have had 2 golden retrievers in the last 15 years, currently a 3 year old and a previous dog that lived 10 year. I have taken care of old dogs and puppies and love all dogs! I am not working so I will be able to be at home whenever needed. I have a 8-5 job that is less than a mile from my house so I can run home for any reason. Almost never work on the weekends. About: I am a huge animal lover. I have 3 dogs, 2 cats, a bearded dragon, a snail and a fish. I love to play fetch with my doggies and love on my kitties. Our bearded dragon is a blast to feed and watch crawl all over the floor. My pets are not pets, they are family. The sleep in my bed and are treated like one of my kids. We love our animals so much when we my kids talk to them they call them bubba and sissy. I absolutely love being around animals. About: Hello, my name is Caleb. I’m from Washington state and have lived in Bossier City about 10 years. My family has 2 dogs. Patchi is our papillon (13yrs old), and Paco, our tiny rescue (8yrs old) chihuahua from Mexico! While on vacation we stopped at a shelter to drop off food, and he ran up to me in the street. I knew from that first moment we had a bond, and one week later he came home with me. I have a love for dogs, and they usually warm up to me very quickly. About: I've had dogs and cats my entire life. I am a dog person, but I also like cats. I'm not an expert, but I have an interest in dog psychology, training and body language. I feel that most people forget that we are also mammals and instinctual beings. Just like children, you have to meet animals on their level as well, respectively. About: I’ve been around and taken care of plenty of dogs since I was little. I certainly have the basic skills to feed, walk, and care for dogs. Ontop of that, I can give medication orally or though shots if needed while you’re away. I have had plenty of experience dealing with dogs and all that comes along with having one. About: I’ve loved animals since I was young. I grew up with goats, cats, dogs, bunnies, and many more fun critters. I find a lot of joy being around animals. When I was 9 I helped my family’s pet goat give birth and helped raise them until they were rehomed to different farms. For boarding at my house I like to let the dogs have plenty of outside time. Whether it’s in the backyard playing, going on a walk, or a trip to the dog park. I’m also up for quiet days with snuggles on the couch. I am happy to crate your dog if requested- one of my dogs are crated when they are home alone due to anxiety so I understand the necessity if needed. I also have indoor cameras to monitor my pets while I’m not home, so your pets will always have an eye on them even if I’m not physically there to ensure their safety. For overnight stays in your home, it is completely up to your discretion how you’d like me to care for your pets. If you have special instructions for your pet care I am open to almost anything, I don’t think any ask is too big or too small.

About: I volunteer on my off time at my local dog rescue. I also have fostered many dogs in the past year for Caddo shelter and Parish Paws. I grew up around dogs and own two of my own who are always willing to play with other dogs. If there’s ever a concern of aggressive I separate the dogs when let out for potty breaks or in the house. I am taking off work for the next two months so my schedule is open minus a couple dates here and there. You can expect me home majority of my days. I'll treat them just as well as I would like my pets to be treated since I know how important they are. Prior to Good Dog, I would pet sit for family, friends and neighbors. About: Almost every firefighter has a part time job, so I chose this as mine because I love animals and I couldn’t think of any better way to relieve stress from work than to love on dogs all day! I have a pretty large fenced in backyard, although the house and furniture is open to your pups as well. I have two dogs of my own that love playing with new friends, but if your dog is shy of others I have a dog room in my house for my own dogs and another room for new friends to hang out as well. I also live close to the Brownlee Park, so if you would like your pup to go on a walk or run I would be more than happy to take them out!
