About: I've always taken in stray dogs or cats growing up , I'm 34, and being with animals is therapeutic for me. I've trained my full grown golden doodle into adult hood although I got busy with dental school and decided it best for her well being to give her to a loving family who would be able to give her more attention because when going through dental hygiene school , I knew before starting I would not be able to give her the full attention that she deserved , me and my son had her for 5 great years and still visit with her and her new family . I am now no longer in dental school although I do work in dentistry and am looking for a part time side hustle , thank you for giving me this opportunity , working with animals is actually I job I enjoy. I do live in Kentwood La - very rural country , I am willing to travel as there is not a lot of business out here thank you for your understanding. I currently work as an expanded dental assistant working Monday - Thursday , the latest I get off is 4:30 and most days earlier than that . I work one Friday out of the month . About: I have worked with big dogs like Great Pyrenees and , medium dogs like Pit bulls, and small dogs like toy poodles. My most recent dog lived to be 14 years old and so I’ve grown an appreciation and understanding of care for those dogs. My current dog is a fostered young Pit Bull from the shelter. I don’t discriminate on dog breed or age. I also works with snakes so I’ve had my fair share of bites, it’s just something that comes with the job. I haven’t owned a cat of my own but I love cats and am starting to realize I may be a cat person! I’m currently a Grad student at SELU so I’m busy on Mondays and Wednesday’s but have a lot more time over the weekend and during Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. I crate trained my current foster dog so I can crate your animals if necessary. I also have a back yard so I’m used to letting animals out on a leash.

All you have to bring for your baby is their dog food/cat food. I have dog/cat bowls, leashes, toys, puppy pads, litter boxes, litter, cat toys, cat/dog beds, ( I supply dog treats ) I do not put the babies in kennels unless instructed to do so by you if you bring your own. At bed time I put on relaxing music for the dogs to calm down & sleep, heating pads for cold nights, lots of blankets & beds. Any of their comfort items I would suggest bring with them. I do live in a new trailer, lots of room for your babies to roam & play! non smoker. I have experience with large dogs to small dogs, senior dogs & ones with bad anxiety or kennel aggressive ect. I also have experience with birds, especially parrots. I know how to handle in any situation when it comes to different behaviors from animals. I am also pit bull friendly 💕 The babies I board/doggy daycare have FREE ROAM. Which means they can go as they please anywhere in my home, they can sleep with me or they can sleep on the couches or their beds, but If you prefer your baby in a kennel at night, I will respect your wishes. I only have one kennel designated just for that.. You will receive lots of pictures/videos & updates to the point where it may be a little annoying but you’ll never have to text me first checking on them. I give them lots of love! I stay home everyday with the babies, so they will get all of the attention they need. The night before pick up/drop offs, I do give them a bath, each one no matter what. I can pick your dog up or drop them off, I have never had an issues with any dogs fighting, running off or accidents. I am VERY experienced in RUNNERS, the ones who wait for you to open the door to escape. Never had a runner succeed in getting away. I can clip your babies nails & give them a little trim if need be free of charge. If your dog needs medication I can administer it to them at the times needed. Prozac, prednisone, insulin, antibiotics ect, I’m familiar with all. I am currently working part time and have some extra time to offer my services that i haven’t been able to recently. I only work a few hours mid day so i can take on just about any animals! My pets are already a huge part of my daily life from feeding, training, walking, enrichment etc. I can offer personalized care for each pets specific enrichment needs! I have a fenced in yard with safety latches for as much safety as possible. I live in a safe calm neighborhood with amazing neighbors.My whole house is designed around animals. We have a specific dog room and a cat room with safety gates etc to keep pets separate if needed and we have multiple wire kennels. We also have car kennels for safe traveling to any activities your pets would like!

Overall, pet care fits into my daily routine because I feed, walk, and play with my own animals all day and make sure they are loved on and taken care of just as I would do the same for your own! They have tons of toys that are played with, I let them lay in the bed with me or chill on the couch. I feed them every morning and water them frequently. I walk them every 30mins-1 hour. I will also play with them outside etc. they cuddle and get plenty of belly rubs and scratches while I’m near. I am the type of person who loves seeing your pets and will think about them all the time even if I only watched them once! I love bringing them toys and treats! The phrase I have never met a stranger resonates with me in human and animal aspect! I love meeting new people and animals are always a plus! Pet care is always my top priority. I chose to animal sit over my part time job. I want your pets to have the best care possible. If I ever have work I make sure it’s not longer than a few hours. I want your fur babies to always be attended to and taken care of. I have several pets in my own home that are mine. They are kennel trained and leash trained. I don’t keep my dogs locked up nor would I do that to your pets. I treat your pets like my own. I will give them cuddles and kisses and send you tons of pictures.
