About: We have a warm, loving home and are very nurturing. We also have luxury vinyl flooring which makes accidents an easy clean up lol. We don’t currently use our third bedroom so there’s plenty of room for a crate if your pup is crate trained. Ontop of that, I can give medication orally or though shots if needed while you’re away. I have had plenty of experience dealing with dogs and all that comes along with having one. About: I know that you have many options for care. I have been working through Rover since early 2020 and would like to share some information about myself. I made the decision to take an early retirement after twenty-two years at Northwestern State University when my husband and I relocated to Shreveport and both of our children went off to college. As a volunteer, I cleaned kennels, administered medications, walked and played with dogs, worked with basic training techniques and leash walking, and evaluated and monitored dog behaviors and personalities for proper socialization and integration with other dogs including aggressive and high anxiety dogs. I treat all animals as if they are my own. I love all fur babies big, small, young, and old. I am available at any time and since I am retired, I am able to provide drop-in services, walks, and overnight care (for socialized and house trained dogs who are current on all shots and flea/tick preventives), including medication administration and care for aggressive and high-anxiety dogs. I have no problems with cleaning up accidents and will ensure that your home stays clean of messes. I am also a firm believer in sending pictures while you are away so you can be comforted that your dog (or cat) is receiving nothing but the upmost care and love while you are away. About: I’ve taken care of and raised small pets for as long as I can remember, but as I wasn’t able to have a dog of my own as a child, I’ve always taken every opportunity to babysit my older siblings’ and aunts’ dogs whenever they needed ever since I was 15 years old. I’ve now raised and trained my own two dogs from puppies (one is 4.5 years old and the other is 3.5 years old) and I also adopted my sister’s dog permanently, who is a senior (9.5 years old). Since I’m in school Monday through Friday, I don’t work currently, so taking care of dogs is the only thing I do right now outside of school. And, as of right now, I am available any day of the week! I do have clinicals Monday through Wednesday, so those are the only days I am busy for more than 6 hours during the day, and wouldn’t be able to check on pups who would need more frequent care. Otherwise, I have plenty of spare time to spend helping take care of your pets! I am willing to follow any rules that you have in taking care of your fur babies in your home; I am comfortable with using crates, letting them out to play and potty at certain times, and following feeding guidelines, as well as anything else your dog needs! I have experience walking more than one dog at a time as well, up to 3! My own dogs are also very large, and tend to pull on the leash, so I can handle strong, non leash-trained dogs.

About: Hey y'all! I'm a Midwestern gal who has loved getting to know the pets of the deep south! I've been an animal lover my entire life. So, about 10 years ago, I started working at a doggy daycare and boarding facility and it was the experience of a lifetime! It's easily the coolest job I've ever had. I've gotten to learn a lot about pet care. It's a special feeling to get to get to know and watch pups grow up. I worked under an animal behaviorist in DC for several months before ending up down here in the Bossier area! About: I can train puppies as early as 6 weeks old. This includes house training as well. For elder dogs it may take longer to train, but it is still possible. I also provide basic daily care such as feeding, walking, bathing, and grooming. I have nothing to do! I would rather watch your pet all day. About: I volunteer on my off time at my local dog rescue. I also have fostered many dogs in the past year for Caddo shelter and Parish Paws. I grew up around dogs and own two of my own who are always willing to play with other dogs. If there’s ever a concern of aggressive I separate the dogs when let out for potty breaks or in the house. I am taking off work for the next two months so my schedule is open minus a couple dates here and there. You can expect me home majority of my days. My pets are always fed and given water through the day and let o it frequently. They enjoy playing fetch or running in the yard and going on car rides or walks.

About: Pet sitting is awesome because I want to spend time with as many wonderful pets as I can. I'll treat them just as well as I would like my pets to be treated since I know how important they are. Prior to Good Dog, I would pet sit for family, friends and neighbors. They deserve the best care even the little rambunctious ones. I have been working and volunteering in pet care for years. Interacting with any animal makes me happy but bunnies will always have a special place in my heart.
