About: My family has owned dogs since I was 3 years old. I have taken care of animals of all kinds, including big, little, and elder dogs, cats, rabbits, and chickens. I adopted my own dog in July of 2025. He was a rescue from Dubach, LA and loves dogs more than people! Currently I am working on my Masters of Business Administration online, meaning I have plenty of time to dedicate to anyone’s wonderful animal(s)! About: I volunteer on my off time at my local dog rescue. I also have fostered many dogs in the past year for Caddo shelter and Parish Paws. I grew up around dogs and own two of my own who are always willing to play with other dogs. If there’s ever a concern of aggressive I separate the dogs when let out for potty breaks or in the house. I am currently working a part time job with a very flexible schedule, so I can be available whenever needed to watch after your pets. About: I am a vetting director for a Great Dane Rescue, so I have many years experience in dealing with dogs. I have dealt with newborn puppies, all the way to our beloved seniors. About: We have a warm, loving home and are very nurturing. We also have luxury vinyl flooring which makes accidents an easy clean up lol. We don’t currently use our third bedroom so there’s plenty of room for a crate if your pup is crate trained. I’ve been pet sitting and house sitting for 16 years and am on this site because I simply want to do more of it on a consistent basis. I work close by our home 8am-4pm Monday-Friday, but I can come home to let out pup(s) whenever needed. My daughter goes to bed by 6:30 most nights so plenty of evening time at home. I have a sweet tea cup yorkie to keep your pup company during the day. I work close to where I live with a flexible schedule, so I can let pup out as much as needed. Our yard is fenced in also. About: I know that you have many options for care. I have been working through Rover since early 2020 and would like to share some information about myself. I made the decision to take an early retirement after twenty-two years at Northwestern State University when my husband and I relocated to Shreveport and both of our children went off to college. This move gave me the opportunity to pursue a job that I ❤️ and am passionate about. I believe dogs and cats are the most awesome of Earth's creatures, and, in my eyes, are such precious members of our families. I am a long-time dog and cat owner and currently a parent to three rescued dogs. I also was an active volunteer and Board Member for Natchitoches Hope for Paws dog rescue from 2012 to 2022. During this time, I worked with 150+ rescued dogs at the site and through the foster program. I found so much pleasure and enjoyment working as a rescue volunteer and wanted to expand my love and care of these most precious of animals. As a volunteer, I cleaned kennels, administered medications, walked and played with dogs, worked with basic training techniques and leash walking, and evaluated and monitored dog behaviors and personalities for proper socialization and integration with other dogs including aggressive and high anxiety dogs. I treat all animals as if they are my own. I love all fur babies big, small, young, and old. I am available at any time and since I am retired, I am able to provide drop-in services, walks, and overnight care (for socialized and house trained dogs who are current on all shots and flea/tick preventives), including medication administration and care for aggressive and high-anxiety dogs. I have no problems with cleaning up accidents and will ensure that your home stays clean of messes. I am also a firm believer in sending pictures while you are away so you can be comforted that your dog (or cat) is receiving nothing but the upmost care and love while you are away. No requested service is to great or small! I would welcome the opportunity to help you with care needs for your fur babies! About: I’ve taken care of and raised small pets for as long as I can remember, but as I wasn’t able to have a dog of my own as a child, I’ve always taken every opportunity to babysit my older siblings’ and aunts’ dogs whenever they needed ever since I was 15 years old. I’ve now raised and trained my own two dogs from puppies (one is 4.5 years old and the other is 3.5 years old) and I also adopted my sister’s dog permanently, who is a senior (9.5 years old). I’m currently in nursing school, so my schedule is flexible around my classes! Since I’m in school Monday through Friday, I don’t work currently, so taking care of dogs is the only thing I do right now outside of school. And, as of right now, I am available any day of the week! I do have clinicals Monday through Wednesday, so those are the only days I am busy for more than 6 hours during the day, and wouldn’t be able to check on pups who would need more frequent care. Otherwise, I have plenty of spare time to spend helping take care of your pets! I am willing to follow any rules that you have in taking care of your fur babies in your home; I am comfortable with using crates, letting them out to play and potty at certain times, and following feeding guidelines, as well as anything else your dog needs! I have experience walking more than one dog at a time as well, up to 3! My own dogs are also very large, and tend to pull on the leash, so I can handle strong, non leash-trained dogs.
About: I work with Chimpanzees at Chimp Haven! I also have two amazing cats named Bellion and Kid! In addition I also have a bearded dragon named Thor. I have had animals since I was 3 and I have been caring for animals since then. I have experience walk training dogs and I have plenty of regular training experience as well. I use to volunteer with multiple dog and cat no kill shelters where I would walk, play, and groom with both dogs and cats. I would also go to events and communicate with potential adopters for these dogs, as I did these events I would be walk training the dogs so that when they get adopted they would know! I do work a full time job from 7am-4pm every day. My evenings are completely free and I currently have Saturdays and Sundays off from work so I am free all day on those days to help train or walk pets! Since my evenings are free I can check up or even stay the night to take care of your babies! My cats and lizard are very spoiled in our home. They get fed twice a day and plenty of love and play time. I absolutely adore animals and I want to make sure your pets are taken care of while you're at work or vacation!

About: I have had 2 golden retrievers in the last 15 years, currently a 3 year old and a previous dog that lived 10 year. I have taken care of old dogs and puppies and love all dogs! I worked under an animal behaviorist in DC for several months before ending up down here in the Bossier area!
