“My experience with Robin was exceptional. I have used another sitter through Rover before and the experience was okay, but I noticed my puppy would come home very riled up and needing to immediately decompress. It often felt like I had to calm him down and get him back to his normal baseline. With Robin, the experience was completely different. When I picked him up, he was calm, relaxed, and acting exactly like he does at home. Even during the ride back, he settled into his crate and rested. That told me he was comfortable and well cared for during his stay. I was also a little nervous about having him around other dogs since he hasn’t spent a lot of time with other puppies. I have 3 fur babies who are spoiled and well-loved, Mylo the Siberian Husky (2 years old), Lily the sweet mix breed rescue (6 years old), and Baxter the Dachshund Beagle rescue (7 years old) and 1 fur nephew, Rufus the Corgi (3 years old) who frequently stays with his cousins and auntie to play. We love the dog park, long walks (Mylo especially), and couch snuggles/naps. They enjoy chasing each other in the backyard and to birdwatch/neighborhood watch from the living room windows. I have experience with many breeds and all ages. Having two rescues myself I am also comfortable with rescue dogs who may need more time to warm up and trust you. I also love cats and have always had one-I just don’t currently have one. Fur babies aren’t just pets-they are family. I work from home with a very flexible schedule. I am available for walks, drop ins, and boarding any day of the week or weekend. I can come to you! I have a fenced yard and 3 fur babies who are dog friendly and love to play! I am happy to use crates if that is preferred. While I don’t mind your dog staying here with us, I am also able to come to your dog in your home if that is more comfortable.

When I house sit, I will have to leave for a few hours a day for either class or work, but will spend ample time with your four-legged friend! In your home, full respect will be given to both your pets and your home. Walks and drop ins will not be spent browsing my phone, your four-legged friend has my full attention! Drop in visits can be tailored to the needs of your pet, and walks can be as active as your pup likes (I like to get those steps in). If your pup has decent leash manners and would like to take a run, I can provide that as well.

I would prefer to watch your pup(s) at my house since I do have fur babies of my own, or be able to bring my dog along with me to your house. Only if it’s safe to do so of course! Just for reference, my baby is a male, mini-dachshund. He’s 11 years old and is a timid, loving sweet boy. But if that’s not an option, that’s okay too! I also have two cats who are both loving and do well with dogs! If we’re boarding at my house, I can pickup and drop off for you as well. I work a Monday-Friday job, and am typically off by 4:30! Anytime outside of those hours will be allotted for the care of any fur babies you entrust me with(: I live in a quiet spot not far from LSU! I have a pretty big yard and safe walking areas for long walks. All I’ll need is a collar and leash (:
