I must admit I was very hesitate about leaving her for 4 days with a stranger, but Ms Stacey's warm welcome was so inviting to both Lola and myself. “We are so thankful for Jon! He did an INCREDIBLE job watching our pack of 4 poms over our wedding weekend! We have never used Rover before or left our dogs overnight and were pretty nervous. We even got on a call with Jon prior to booking and he was more than willing to answer our millions of questions. He was flexible with drop off and pick up times (we drove into NOLA from STL) and was so patient with my "helicopter parent" husband that wanted to set up their beds himself and was so anxious to leave them. Jon's house is also on a side street that made drop off really easy. We received multiple updates and the cutest photos the whole weekend! Our pack definitely had a great time. They loved the backyard! We have a senior dog with mobility issues that he was very careful with, and another pom with some hearing and vision loss and he was wonderful with both. It was very obvious that Jon loves dogs and took care of our fur babies like they were his own! When we picked the pups up he had everything packed up which was a huge time saver since we were driving back home. He had even ran one of our blankets through the dryer so they would have a warm spot to lay since the weather had gotten cold that morning! It is so difficult to trust someone else with your animals, and we were lucky to find such a caring and thoughtful Rover. About: Hi! I’ve had dogs my entire life and they’ve always been at the center of my world. My most recent pup, Effy, was with me for 15 years — she was truly the love of my life. While I’m not quite ready to have a dog of my own again, I couldn’t imagine my life without them, which is why I’m so excited to be here on Rover! Your pet will be loved and cared for like my own. I can’t wait to meet them I work from home Monday–Friday, so your pet will have my full attention throughout the day — no long stretches alone. I am able to work remotely so care during the day is no issue. I live in an apartment in Meraux above my dad’s office, so while there’s no yard, we have plenty of space to get outside for walks. There are stairs, but I’m happy to carry pets up and down as needed.

My last pet was a female Siamese Cat her name was Nala and I had dog named Bacchus years before her and some one stole them both. About: I have experience with all kinds of animals including horses, goats, and chickens. Dogs are the best. I can't remember a time where I did not have a dog in my life. Originally from TX in the US marines me and my soon to be wife. Have our first puppy. I am looking for a 2nd job, and pet care would be an amazing 2nd job. I can care for the pet on weekends, and once I get off work. My normal work week is Monday-Friday 6am-430pm or 0600 to 1630 Honestly probly depends on the pet, younger dogs especially puppies need more attention than older dogs, and older dogs may have different needs. It's case by case basis, on what each pet needs. I do like to play with the dogs I care for.

They hate being alone and I don't think they had a moment unattended in the 5 days they spent with Lindsey. Her dog Lola sealed the deal for the pugs as they love other dogs and feel like it's a party if other furry beings are around. On the second morning we were to take the dogs to Lindsey they didn't get off the couch. As soon as we asked if they wanted to see Lola, they were immediately at the door- such a good sign! “Emily is absolutely AMAZING!!! I work in the area and don’t know anybody, here. I had an emergency situation come up and needed somebody to look after my 3 dogs for an ambiguous amount of time (I did not know if I was going to be looking at a daycare sitch or a multi-day stay.) I made a reservation and sent a message to Emily after midnight on a Thursday about coordinating for the next morning and she responded immediately!!! She really reeeeeeeally helped me out of a jam, and even came to pick my kids up for me so I could begin to address my situation right away, even though I am staying well out of her way! She is a doll, and her own pups are a hoot! I couldn’t recommend her more! While living and working on the road it is incredibly stressful to address the contingency where you may not be able to attend to your babies, my dogs and my cat are with me 100% of the time and I have often found myself fretting about what to do, should something happen to me. About: I’ve spent my whole life taking care of my dogs. Throughout college I had many roommates with cats and grew a love for them as well. Growing up I used to make treats for animal shelters and had a dream of being a vet. Since I’ve realized how much of a dedication vet school is, this seems like a fun way to incorporate my love for animals into something part time. :) I love cardio and am always down for a morning, afternoon, and even night runs. About: I’ve taken care my dogs my who life. They were always played with, well feed, taken on walks, and groomed to perfection. I love taking care and spending time with animals. I’m available some weekends before 3pm and during the week days I am in school so I have more free time on my hands from working. I have had dogs and cats in my life. My last pet was a female Siamese Cat her name was Nala and I had dog named Bacchus years before her and some one stole them both. But, they stayed with shot updates, vet updates, toys, stocked on food, treats, clothes, love and much entertainment from me. I also believe outside time is very important, it gives them a sense of calmness.

About: I started my animal care experience working for the Audubon Science and Nature center in animal husbandry by caring for native and exotic animals, birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians in outreach and environmental education! My husband and I cared for wild, rehabilated, exotic, domestic and farm animals throughout our careers. My husband has worked in a stable and farm and has experience with horses, goats, pigs, chickens ect. Both working part-time and mostly from home we will love your baby whether it's got fur, feathers ,hooves, scales or semiporous skin! ;-) My husband and I have a flexible schedule working part time and seasonally, with most hours I can set for myself and also often I am able to work from home. He and I make sure all animals are paid lots of attention to and cared for throughout the day and checked on at night. I have two residences one where I have my pets and another where there are no pets so we can discuss your pets environmental needs. Your baby can play with my pets or have the place to themselves if that suits their demeanor.

“We are so thankful for Jon! He did an INCREDIBLE job watching our pack of 4 poms over our wedding weekend! We have never used Rover before or left our dogs overnight and were pretty nervous. We even got on a call with Jon prior to booking and he was more than willing to answer our millions of questions. He was flexible with drop off and pick up times (we drove into NOLA from STL) and was so patient with my "helicopter parent" husband that wanted to set up their beds himself and was so anxious to leave them. Jon's house is also on a side street that made drop off really easy. We received multiple updates and the cutest photos the whole weekend! Our pack definitely had a great time. They loved the backyard! We have a senior dog with mobility issues that he was very careful with, and another pom with some hearing and vision loss and he was wonderful with both. It was very obvious that Jon loves dogs and took care of our fur babies like they were his own! When we picked the pups up he had everything packed up which was a huge time saver since we were driving back home. He had even ran one of our blankets through the dryer so they would have a warm spot to lay since the weather had gotten cold that morning! It is so difficult to trust someone else with your animals, and we were lucky to find such a caring and thoughtful Rover. About: I’ve been caring for animals my whole life, starting from rescuing strays as a kid. I have years of hands on experience with dogs of all ages, including my own senior pup who was named Cici. She needed medication around the clock and caring for her taught me patience, gentle handling, and how to follow a strict care routine. I’m comfortable giving meds, understanding special needs, and making sure pets feel loved, safe, and understood. I would love to hang out with your fur babies and give them some extra loving! I am currently not working so I have all the time in the world to take care of your pets! Every day will be a party and I’d love to have some company! In my home, pets will have a safe, clean and comfortable space with plenty of attention, playtime and plenty of snuggles. While I don’t have a fenced yard, I will make sure they get regular leashed walks, potty breaks, and supervised outdoor time. I will stick to their usual feeding schedule, keep fresh water available at all times and follow any medication or special care routines exactly.

About: Hi! I’ve had dogs my entire life and they’ve always been at the center of my world. My most recent pup, Effy, was with me for 15 years — she was truly the love of my life. While I’m not quite ready to have a dog of my own again, I couldn’t imagine my life without them, which is why I’m so excited to be here on Rover! Your pet will be loved and cared for like my own. I can’t wait to meet them I work from home Monday–Friday, so your pet will have my full attention throughout the day — no long stretches alone. I am able to work remotely so care during the day is no issue. I live in an apartment in Meraux above my dad’s office, so while there’s no yard, we have plenty of space to get outside for walks. There are stairs, but I’m happy to carry pets up and down as needed.
