About: Hi I’m Mandi , I’ve basically raised & trained dogs of all breeds & sizes my entire life. I’ve never really met a stranger when it comes to meeting pups ! Definitely love dogs more then most humans ! Lol. I also specialize in puppy care / whelping as I’m a breeder myself as well. I’m currently working part time & pretty home based. So I have all the time to properly care for your pup ! Your pup would never be left home alone or unattended ! I have a small fenced in area around my home incase your fur baby likes to be outside. “This was our pups’ first time away from us and Jennifer was so great with them! We have a longer boarding stay coming up and wanted to see how they would do beforehand. She was so patient with my anxious boy and helped them both settle in in their own time. They were running around and playing by the end of the stay! She was also really communicative and kept us updated often with lots of photos. About: All the Doggies sleep with me in my bed! They are allowed on furniture & anywhere they’d like to be comfortable. I worked for Companion Animal alliance in Baton Rouge working with dogs & cats as a caretaker. I mobile groom for people around the Livingston parish area & I’m well known on the nextdoor app. I have a bunch of references! I am very passionate about your fur babies & one day will open up my own business building for grooming/boarding & as new clients you would be adding to my fund for that. It has been my life long dream to accomplish this one day & I am going to keep working towards that. I want to expand this business into something much bigger & for people to feel at ease with leaving your babies in the care of someone who will love them unconditionally. All you have to bring for your baby is their dog food/cat food. I have dog/cat bowls, leashes, toys, puppy pads, litter boxes, litter, cat toys, cat/dog beds, ( I supply dog treats ) I do not put the babies in kennels unless instructed to do so by you if you bring your own. At bed time I put on relaxing music for the dogs to calm down & sleep, heating pads for cold nights, lots of blankets & beds. Any of their comfort items I would suggest bring with them. I do live in a new trailer, lots of room for your babies to roam & play! non smoker. I have experience with large dogs to small dogs, senior dogs & ones with bad anxiety or kennel aggressive ect. I also have experience with birds, especially parrots. I know how to handle in any situation when it comes to different behaviors from animals. I am also pit bull friendly 💕 The babies I board/doggy daycare have FREE ROAM. Which means they can go as they please anywhere in my home, they can sleep with me or they can sleep on the couches or their beds, but If you prefer your baby in a kennel at night, I will respect your wishes. I only have one kennel designated just for that.. You will receive lots of pictures/videos & updates to the point where it may be a little annoying but you’ll never have to text me first checking on them. I give them lots of love! I stay home everyday with the babies, so they will get all of the attention they need. The night before pick up/drop offs, I do give them a bath, each one no matter what. I can pick your dog up or drop them off, I have never had an issues with any dogs fighting, running off or accidents. I am VERY experienced in RUNNERS, the ones who wait for you to open the door to escape. Never had a runner succeed in getting away. I can clip your babies nails & give them a little trim if need be free of charge. If your dog needs medication I can administer it to them at the times needed. Prozac, prednisone, insulin, antibiotics ect, I’m familiar with all. Thank you for taking the time to read this & hopefully you have found the right sitter for your baby/babies. 🐶 I bring the babies to the dog park twice a week along with water treats & toys. I can manage 5 at a time ( leashed ) I do have a fenced in yard with a doggy pool, it’s covered & has pet turf. Lots of room for your baby to play!! This is what I do for a living! I eat breathe & sleep doggies. I stay home full time & when I say full time it’s me & the pups home everyday. My most recent dog lived to be 14 years old and so I’ve grown an appreciation and understanding of care for those dogs. My current dog is a fostered young Pit Bull from the shelter. I don’t discriminate on dog breed or age. I also works with snakes so I’ve had my fair share of bites, it’s just something that comes with the job. I haven’t owned a cat of my own but I love cats and am starting to realize I may be a cat person! About: Animals have always been the center of my world, and I truly can’t imagine life without them. Over the years, I’ve had the chance to care for just about every kind of pet, from bouncy puppies and cuddly kittens to gentle seniors who just need a little extra patience and love. We have a specific dog room and a cat room with safety gates etc to keep pets separate if needed and we have multiple wire kennels. About: I have taken care of many animals for my family and friends. I have taken care of dogs, cats, fish, and even horses! I love animals and have had a lot of experience pet sitting. I have 2 degrees in animal science both an associates degree and bachelor's degree...After college I completed more college in studying veterinary technician. I know how to handle both puppies, with all their energy and training needs, and senior dogs who just need patience and comfort. About: I’ve been fostering and volunteering with dogs for years, so I’m comfortable with all kinds. I really enjoy training too, whether it’s playing ball, doing some basic obedience work, or just sitting and creating a relaxed state of mind. I’m good at reading cues and making sure the dogs feel safe while they’re with me. Options include field play time, scent games, recall work, and a slat-mill for burning energy inside during the hottest months. I am certified by Animal Behavior College and have been training at Larry Benoit's facility for about 6 months. I care for all of the dogs just like my own! I have many dogs here and allow friends to play. I can also crate and rotate if you're not sure your dog will get along with others. When we train, we focus one on one!
