When my family was thrown into chaos due to an unexpected medical emergency, we had no idea how we were going to care for Stella — my mom’s beloved (and very opinionated) pup. Enter Roger, our last-minute, Johnny-on-the-Spot superhero. From the moment he stepped in, Roger treated Stella like one of his own. He didn’t just walk her regularly — he made sure she got the exercise, attention, and affection she needed to feel safe and loved during a confusing time. He even embraced her quirks, including her very vocal opinions about dogs, horses, and — to our surprise — oxen on TV. Most sitters would’ve run for the hills. Roger? He laughed, turned down the volume, and gave her a belly rub. He let Stella sleep in his bed, kept her routine steady, and most importantly, gave us peace of mind when we needed it most. About: I have loved dogs all my life. I’ve not been without one for as long as I can remember. It brings me joy to see happy animals of all kinds. I have even befriended the ducks that live along the bayou of my home, to the point where they eat out of my hand. Rest assured that my love for animals will bring you comfort knowing that your pet will feel as loved with me as if you were right there with them. I currently work full-time, which is why I can only keep dogs on the weekends. However, I work just one block from my home so I get to check on my dog everyday at lunch. It’s my favorite part of my work day! Therefore, I can accommodate your pet during a weekday but that would mean your dog may have to stay in a kennel for up to four hours at a time until I can come home for lunch. I get off at noon on Fridays and off weekends so weekends are when I can spend time with your dogs. Dogs in our home can come in and out as they please because we have a doggy door. We have a fenced in yard where dogs can go to the bathroom or sunbath in the back anytime they want. They can also sleep on the couch because we have covers over the furniture. Anytime that we cannot have eyes on them for a period of time the dogs will be separated by a barrier or kenneled.
About: I’ve had multiple dogs growing up as well as lots of other animals! I often dog sit for my siblings and love having them. I like my home to feel like their home with little adjustment. I work at 5 am and come home for lunch and am back home by 12 and am home for the rest of the night. I live right by my job and they are very flexible with me. I love being home in the evenings and having someone to take walks with is ideal! My apartment is open to pets, furniture included unless specified. I will happily keep pets off your furniture if needed. I take regular walks with a leash for exercise to make up for the lack of hard at my house.

However some fun and cool facts about me are that I grew up having dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits, pigs, turkeys, chickens, ducks, guineas, hamsters, a bird, and turtles! What this means for you: when you book with me you’re booking for gold standard care of a luxury style in home boarding vs. kennel boarding. I typically only work 3 days a week leaving me with open availability for the other days. These days do vary, but can be discussed further to meet needs. I have a privacy fence for a large play and potty area. Pets will be walked on the regular for exercise and feed as requested by the owner. All boarding/daycare dogs are required to be up to date on core vaccines (records provided prior to drop off) and flea/tick/heartworm prevention. They also must be provided a crate. This is to ensure safety of your pet.

About: I’ve been drawn to dogs, horses, cats, and pretty much any animal with four legs (well even the ones that only have 3 limbs and are rescues) since I was little. I’ve never not had some sort of rescue dog. I am used to taking care of special needs and making sure animals get lots of attention and love. I am asked by friends and neighbors to take care of walking, feeding, and loving their pets while away. I haven’t met a dog/cat that I haven’t fallen in love with. I am also available to walk your dog daily. I stay at home with my father who is 80 years old in a four bedroom house. Your pet will get round the clock attention with frequent exercise, petting and feeding with your schedule requests. Your pet will be very loved and well taken care of. I am also experienced with special needs with medications or modifications that you may have. Your animal can spend time in the house and I also have a large fenced in yard. If an indoor pet your animal will have their own room (I have two extra bedrooms). If you prefer they can sleep in my room on pet pillows. I will take your pet on walks and they will also have a large backyard to explore. My dog (Copper) will stay with my father if I am going to your home. Light housekeeping and meal prep are available if needed for an additional fee.

What this means for you: when you book with me you’re booking for gold standard care of a luxury style in home boarding vs. kennel boarding. I typically only work 3 days a week leaving me with open availability for the other days. These days do vary, but can be discussed further to meet needs. I have a privacy fence for a large play and potty area. Pets will be walked on the regular for exercise and feed as requested by the owner. All boarding/daycare dogs are required to be up to date on core vaccines (records provided prior to drop off) and flea/tick/heartworm prevention. They also must be provided a crate. This is to ensure safety of your pet.
About: I have had a dog for 10 years, since I was 12, and she was a black lab and rhodesian ridgeback mix. She was a super energetic puppy and had to be played with and walked a lot. I got two cats at the very beginning of 2022 and I’ve taken care of them by myself since. I love playing with cats and giving them love. I will walk dogs at least twice a day, if not more. I currently work at Whole Foods Market and I typically work five days out of the week and work 7-2pm, and I will be home for the rest of the day. It will be super easy to fit the animals into my daily schedule. I have two cats to keep your animals company, but if your dogs don’t like cats then I will keep them separated. I will be walking your dogs at least twice a day, if not more. I will play with them as much as they like and I will follow any stipulations that the client would like to talk about.

I have a large yard, two dogs (inside) and a cat (outside). Our pups are trained to stay in the parameters of our yard and leashed trained as well. Their crates are available if they would like to sleep in them but aren't locked often unless staying in a place that requires them to be when we travel or we have other pets with us that may require them to be.

About: I have loved dogs all my life. I’ve not been without one for as long as I can remember. It brings me joy to see happy animals of all kinds. I have even befriended the ducks that live along the bayou of my home, to the point where they eat out of my hand. Rest assured that my love for animals will bring you comfort knowing that your pet will feel as loved with me as if you were right there with them. I currently work full-time, which is why I can only keep dogs on the weekends. However, I work just one block from my home so I get to check on my dog everyday at lunch. It’s my favorite part of my work day! Therefore, I can accommodate your pet during a weekday but that would mean your dog may have to stay in a kennel for up to four hours at a time until I can come home for lunch. I get off at noon on Fridays and off weekends so weekends are when I can spend time with your dogs. Dogs in our home can come in and out as they please because we have a doggy door. We have a fenced in yard where dogs can go to the bathroom or sunbath in the back anytime they want. They can also sleep on the couch because we have covers over the furniture. Anytime that we cannot have eyes on them for a period of time the dogs will be separated by a barrier or kenneled.

Handling everything from playtime supervision and feeding to administering basic care and ensuring a safe, happy environment for every pup. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and I’ve grown up around them, so caring for them comes naturally to me. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I treat every dog like they’re my own with patience, attention, and lots of love. Whether your dog needs a fun walk, a reliable sitter, or just some extra attention while you’re away, you can count on me to provide dependable, attentive, and compassionate care. I’m comfortable with high energy dogs, shy pups, and everything in between! I can’t wait to meet you and your furry best friend! I’m a teacher during the week, so my pet care schedule fits perfectly around that! I’m available in the afternoons/evenings on weekdays, and I have full availability on weekends, holidays, and throughout the summer. This allows me to give pets plenty of time, attention, and consistency when their owners need it most. I have a dog of my own, but I live in an apartment, so boarding in my home isn’t ideal. My dog is friendly so play dates are definitely an option if you’re okay with it! I prefer caring for pets in their own environment where they’re most comfortable. In a client’s home, I always follow all provided instructions closely and do my best to keep your pet’s routine as normal and consistent as possible whether that’s feeding schedules, walks, playtime, or any specific care needs. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and stress free while you’re away.
