As I am a small person, I cannot walk untrained giant breed dogs unfortunately, but I can more than happily dog sit and do drop in care! About: Previously I’ve had 2 years of professional dog handling experience from working at dog daycare and boarding facilities. Every day, I would spend hours playing with pups of all different ages, breeds, and sizes. I worked hard to make sure they were fed (and medicated if needed), hand feeding them and sitting down with them if they were too anxious to eat in a new environment. I cared for at least 30 dogs a day, sometimes up to 60. All of them hold a special place in my heart, and I still remember over 200 names. There, I was taught the proper ways to handle and walk dogs. I was also trained on CPR in case of emergencies. Every dog I met had a different personality, so I had to learn from experience how to handle each and every one of them differently. Additionally, I own two cats and have knowledge in basic feline first aid, including CPR. I’ve also raised two litters of kittens in the past, from birth to when they became 2-3 months old. “My experience with Robin was exceptional. I have used another sitter through Rover before and the experience was okay, but I noticed my puppy would come home very riled up and needing to immediately decompress. It often felt like I had to calm him down and get him back to his normal baseline. With Robin, the experience was completely different. When I picked him up, he was calm, relaxed, and acting exactly like he does at home. Even during the ride back, he settled into his crate and rested. That told me he was comfortable and well cared for during his stay. I was also a little nervous about having him around other dogs since he hasn’t spent a lot of time with other puppies. Robin was incredibly patient and reassuring. She allowed me to observe and helped me feel confident that he would be just fine, and he truly was. Another thing that stood out was how much my puppy liked her right away. As soon as he got out of the car, he was excited and curious about going inside, which meant a lot to me. About: I have taken care of dogs and cat for approximately 10 years for family members. I also have 3 pets in my home now and volunteer at an animal rescue! I am currently working full-time Monday through Friday, but I’m available Friday evening through Sunday for boarding. I’m also available for pop ins and daily walks in the morning from 6am to 7:30am and evenings from 6pm to 7:30pm I have a nice big yard that your dogs can be leash walked in along with one big and one small dog available to keep your babies company.
