About: I have owned and lived with dogs and cats my whole life. I have 3 fur babies who are spoiled and well-loved, Mylo the Siberian Husky (2 years old), Lily the sweet mix breed rescue (6 years old), and Baxter the Dachshund Beagle rescue (7 years old) and 1 fur nephew, Rufus the Corgi (3 years old) who frequently stays with his cousins and auntie to play. We love the dog park, long walks (Mylo especially), and couch snuggles/naps. They enjoy chasing each other in the backyard and to birdwatch/neighborhood watch from the living room windows. I have experience with many breeds and all ages. Having two rescues myself I am also comfortable with rescue dogs who may need more time to warm up and trust you. I also love cats and have always had one-I just don’t currently have one. Fur babies aren’t just pets-they are family. I work from home with a very flexible schedule. About: All the Doggies sleep with me in my bed! They are allowed on furniture & anywhere they’d like to be comfortable. I worked for Companion Animal alliance in Baton Rouge working with dogs & cats as a caretaker. I mobile groom for people around the Livingston parish area & I’m well known on the nextdoor app. I have a bunch of references! I am very passionate about your fur babies & one day will open up my own business building for grooming/boarding & as new clients you would be adding to my fund for that. It has been my life long dream to accomplish this one day & I am going to keep working towards that. I want to expand this business into something much bigger & for people to feel at ease with leaving your babies in the care of someone who will love them unconditionally. All you have to bring for your baby is their dog food/cat food. I have dog/cat bowls, leashes, toys, puppy pads, litter boxes, litter, cat toys, cat/dog beds, ( I supply dog treats ) I do not put the babies in kennels unless instructed to do so by you if you bring your own. At bed time I put on relaxing music for the dogs to calm down & sleep, heating pads for cold nights, lots of blankets & beds. Any of their comfort items I would suggest bring with them. I do live in a new trailer, lots of room for your babies to roam & play! non smoker. I have experience with large dogs to small dogs, senior dogs & ones with bad anxiety or kennel aggressive ect. I also have experience with birds, especially parrots. I know how to handle in any situation when it comes to different behaviors from animals. I am also pit bull friendly 💕 The babies I board/doggy daycare have FREE ROAM. Which means they can go as they please anywhere in my home, they can sleep with me or they can sleep on the couches or their beds, but If you prefer your baby in a kennel at night, I will respect your wishes. I only have one kennel designated just for that.. You will receive lots of pictures/videos & updates to the point where it may be a little annoying but you’ll never have to text me first checking on them. I give them lots of love! I stay home everyday with the babies, so they will get all of the attention they need. The night before pick up/drop offs, I do give them a bath, each one no matter what. I can pick your dog up or drop them off, I have never had an issues with any dogs fighting, running off or accidents. I am VERY experienced in RUNNERS, the ones who wait for you to open the door to escape. Never had a runner succeed in getting away. I can clip your babies nails & give them a little trim if need be free of charge. If your dog needs medication I can administer it to them at the times needed. Prozac, prednisone, insulin, antibiotics ect, I’m familiar with all. About: I have been taking care of animals , specifically dogs and cats but also rabbits and others from time to time, since I was around 12 years old. My parish does not have an animal shelter or any service to help with strays so I began to take them in. I was basically fostering them. I have most experience with rescuing and taking care of cats and kittens but I have had family dogs my whole life. I’ve walked , bathed , and cared for countless animals and I know they are what I want to do with the rest of my life. I am currently a freshman in college majoring in Biology/Zoology! Animals have always been a light in my life and I believe they can make anyones day better! I have also volunteered at animal shelters before :) I currently do online school and make my own schedule so I am available any day during the week or weekend. I can board dogs any day but I would prefer over the weekends. I can walk dogs any day, or go check in/feed them any day as well! I would like to start with only boarding one dog at a time but maybe eventually get to two if they’re from the same family! I do have a cat of my own so dogs would have to be cat friendly if staying at my apartment. I currently live in an apartment complex but we do have a dog park in the complex! I have a young cat who is full of energy and would love to have play dates with dogs or cats as long as they are friendly! I can also come to your home and watch your fur baby! I will follow any schedule you give me for them and take to their needs.
