About: I volunteer on my off time at my local dog rescue. I also have fostered many dogs in the past year for Caddo shelter and Parish Paws. I grew up around dogs and own two of my own who are always willing to play with other dogs. If there’s ever a concern of aggressive I separate the dogs when let out for potty breaks or in the house. I am taking off work for the next two months so my schedule is open minus a couple dates here and there. You can expect me home majority of my days. About: I’ve been caring for pets all of my life purely for the enjoyment of it. Animals have always been attracted to me and I’ve always loved interacting with them. At time of writing, I am a college student near the end of the spring semester. My schedule will clear up significantly during the summer months, before becoming more strict in the fall. I made the decision to take an early retirement after twenty-two years at Northwestern State University when my husband and I relocated to Shreveport and both of our children went off to college. During this time, I worked with 150+ rescued dogs at the site and through the foster program. I found so much pleasure and enjoyment working as a rescue volunteer and wanted to expand my love and care of these most precious of animals. As a volunteer, I cleaned kennels, administered medications, walked and played with dogs, worked with basic training techniques and leash walking, and evaluated and monitored dog behaviors and personalities for proper socialization and integration with other dogs including aggressive and high anxiety dogs. I treat all animals as if they are my own. I love all fur babies big, small, young, and old. I am available at any time and since I am retired, I am able to provide drop-in services, walks, and overnight care (for socialized and house trained dogs who are current on all shots and flea/tick preventives), including medication administration and care for aggressive and high-anxiety dogs. I have no problems with cleaning up accidents and will ensure that your home stays clean of messes. I am also a firm believer in sending pictures while you are away so you can be comforted that your dog (or cat) is receiving nothing but the upmost care and love while you are away. If it’s a drop in just to check, or you need me to watch them for a week while you go on vacation. I can help! I have a fenced yard now and your pup will have a friend. Dogs will have opportunities to play inside and outside and length of time outside will depend on temperature and weather conditions. Outside playtime may include time to splash in the splash pool, dig in the doggy sandbox for surprises, pop bubbles, and time to run and play in a really large doggy themed fenced play yard in a country setting. Indoor playtime includes access to a large dog themed room with doggy shows on their own TV while lounging on their pet size furniture or playing with toys. There will be much needed nap time whenever a nap is needed. Meals (provided by owner) will be scheduled at times agreed upon and dogs will be fed separately. After a fun-filled day, transportation home will be provided at the pre-arranged time (if applicable). Every night is Movie Night while boarding. About: I work with Chimpanzees at Chimp Haven! I also have two amazing cats named Bellion and Kid! In addition I also have a bearded dragon named Thor. I have had animals since I was 3 and I have been caring for animals since then. I have experience walk training dogs and I have plenty of regular training experience as well. I use to volunteer with multiple dog and cat no kill shelters where I would walk, play, and groom with both dogs and cats. I would also go to events and communicate with potential adopters for these dogs, as I did these events I would be walk training the dogs so that when they get adopted they would know! About: I am a huge animal lover I actually have 4 dogs. I am a college student so I will be away for 3-4 hours max 2 days a week. I’ve had dogs for 9 years and before that had cats. I care for your animals like I would my own (and mine are spoiled). I just want to make sure your fur babies are well cared for while your away. I have a decent sized fenced in back yard in a pet friendly neighborhood. And I have experience with dogs of all sizes. I’m really good with hyper breeds and I know tricks for giving meds. And I’m willing to travel near 40 miles to care for your furry pals. Any questions you can always contact me.
About: I can train puppies as early as 6 weeks old. This includes house training as well. For elder dogs it may take longer to train, but it is still possible. I also provide basic daily care such as feeding, walking, bathing, and grooming. I have nothing to do! I would rather watch your pet all day. Caring for animals is my dream and I’d love to fulfill it with yours. I have a two bedroom apartment in which I’ve turned my second room into my “pet room” I have a 8 month old puppy to keep your fur baby company!

I have a 1 1/2 year old cat that keeps me on my toes and my roommate has a 6 year old blue pit (the son of my late Pit) and she also has a 1 year old miniature dachshund. I have a part time job, so plenty of time for fetch, walks, or simply loving on your animals. I’m good with overnight stays and even administering medicine if needed. About: I’m a military member waiting to continue my training. I would love to spend my time playing and walking pets. I have had a dog since I was 5 years old and a cat since I was 7. I love all animals dearly. I worked through Rover at my last assignment as well! My week days are typically very free and I can be available on a moments notice. About: I am a huge animal lover. I have 3 dogs, 2 cats, a bearded dragon, a snail and a fish. I love to play fetch with my doggies and love on my kitties. Our bearded dragon is a blast to feed and watch crawl all over the floor. My pets are not pets, they are family. The sleep in my bed and are treated like one of my kids. About: I volunteer on my off time at my local dog rescue. I also have fostered many dogs in the past year for Caddo shelter and Parish Paws. I grew up around dogs and own two of my own who are always willing to play with other dogs. If there’s ever a concern of aggressive I separate the dogs when let out for potty breaks or in the house. I am taking off work for the next two months so my schedule is open minus a couple dates here and there. You can expect me home majority of my days. My pets are always fed and given water through the day and let o it frequently. They enjoy playing fetch or running in the yard and going on car rides or walks.

About: Pet sitting is awesome because I want to spend time with as many wonderful pets as I can. I'll treat them just as well as I would like my pets to be treated since I know how important they are. Prior to Good Dog, I would pet sit for family, friends and neighbors. They deserve the best care even the little rambunctious ones. I have been working and volunteering in pet care for years. Interacting with any animal makes me happy but bunnies will always have a special place in my heart.
