I would appreciate an additional gas allowance. If I keep your animal in my home, you should know that I have a Rottweiler. She is very friendly and loves other animals, but she's never been exposed to an aggressive animal. I have a cat who does not like other animals, but I will have no problems keeping her separate from your animal. I have a fenced in backyard and I enjoy walking over 10,000 steps a day so your animal has options for exercise with me.
“Kristin was just what we needed for our fur babies! They are not kenneled at home and they sleep in bed with us. This was only the 2nd time leaving them with someone other than family. She sent lots of pictures and updates during our trip so I knew they were getting plenty of snuggles. Kristin also kept other dogs while my 2 smaller pups were in her care. Large and small dogs; everyone got along great and my husband and I could tell Kristin was experienced by the short amount of time we were there for drop off. We will absolutely look for her the next time we’ve got a trip planned!”

About: I’ve been around and caring for dogs for as long as I can remember, and caring for animals has always been a passion of mine. My dream has always been to open a rescue of my own one day! I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and breeds, from Yorkies to Dobermans. I’ve owned my GSP who stays at my moms house, since she was a puppy and house-trained her myself, so I’m experienced with the patience, consistency, and care that puppies require. I also help care for my mom’s 12-year-old dog, which has given me experience caring for older dogs as well. About: I am a disabled combat veteran!! I have always had dogs! I had 3 but my 17.5 year of Yorke passed away so now I have a husky and a lab! This will give me a reason and what other reason needed than to walk, sit or play with sweet doggies! They make me happy and if I had all the room I would adopt them all and pick them all up in the road! They are absolutely better than humans! They deserve all the amazing things in their little doggy life! I would love to live on your babies too!! I am currently not working full time or part time as I said I am a disabled veteran! Every now and then I have an online job from home but I am still able to attend to the dogs. Im with them in the living room and have a break every hour but most jobs only last 3 hours or so. About: I've always taken in stray dogs or cats growing up , I'm 34, and being with animals is therapeutic for me. I've trained my full grown golden doodle into adult hood although I got busy with dental school and decided it best for her well being to give her to a loving family who would be able to give her more attention because when going through dental hygiene school , I knew before starting I would not be able to give her the full attention that she deserved , me and my son had her for 5 great years and still visit with her and her new family . About: I have a standard size golden doodle and he is so affectionate so i know how it feels to leave your dog somewhere but here my goal is to provide the best at home care for your doodle/poodle. Which means they can go as they please anywhere in my home, they can sleep with me or they can sleep on the couches or their beds, but If you prefer your baby in a kennel at night, I will respect your wishes. You will receive lots of pictures/videos & updates to the point where it may be a little annoying but you’ll never have to text me first checking on them. I give them lots of love! I stay home everyday with the babies, so they will get all of the attention they need. The night before pick up/drop offs, I do give them a bath, each one no matter what. I can pick your dog up or drop them off, I have never had an issues with any dogs fighting, running off or accidents. I am VERY experienced in RUNNERS, the ones who wait for you to open the door to escape. Never had a runner succeed in getting away. I can clip your babies nails & give them a little trim if need be free of charge. If your dog needs medication I can administer it to them at the times needed. Prozac, prednisone, insulin, antibiotics ect, I’m familiar with all. “Kristin was just what we needed for our fur babies! They are not kenneled at home and they sleep in bed with us. This was only the 2nd time leaving them with someone other than family. I prefer to meet new dogs beforehand whenever possible to make sure they're comfortable with me, my home and my own dogs before their first overnight stay. Every dog is different, so I follow each owner's instructions regarding feeding, medications, sleeping arrangements, exercise and established routines. I also pay close attention to changes in behavior, appetite, energy level and overall well-being throughout their stay. Nothing is more important to me than their safety, comfort and happiness while they're in my care. Whether your dog wants to spend the day running and playing outside, relaxing indoors, following me around the house or cuddling by my side, I want The Happy Acre to feel less like boarding and more like their own private country retreat. You can enjoy your time away knowing your furry family member is safe, loved, well cared for—and having a pretty wonderful vacation of their own.

About: My name is Adrianna I am 42 years old I was born in Baton Rouge and raised in this area. I have had pets my whole life. I currently have a two year old shih poo named Leaux and a one year old chihuahua named little boy. I take my fur babies everywhere my babies are allowed, including vacations. I have four children and I literally speak about my puppies just as much as I do my kids. Animals are family to me, they give us their undivided attention, loyalty and love, so why shouldn’t we do the same. Nothing would make me happier than to give your pet a comfortable place to stay with lots of love and the loving care when your not there.

“Wow is all I have to say! Liv took absolutely amazing care of our two young German Shepherds while we were away! They both loved her and accepted her immediately as if they had known her forever. Liv met with us at a dog park beforehand, met again the day before at her home, and allowed us to drop them off early the next morning. Our female went into heat just days before our scheduled stay and Liv was completely fine with it and handled her and the boys like a pro! We got loads of photos, videos, and information throughout their stay. Liv is truly an expert handler and we will be using her as long as she lets us! 1000 stars!”
