About: I have spend my entire life around animals of all sorts and love taking care of them. I have also had experiences with training puppies. I am currently at teacher at a high school but have plenty of free time throughout the week and thought what better way to spend it then with the things I love most. “We will 100% come back to Melody for dog sitting again. Finn and Echos stay with Melody went great. I was worried because my dogs aren't the calmest and best behaved but she said the did very well. We stayed for a bit so that we could make sure our German Shepherd and Husky would get along with the other dogs and Melody was so accommodating, introducing each dog slowly and calmly. I also want to point out that Melody has a 5' fence which is one of the reasons we decided to go with her as our sitter. Finn has been known to jump shorter fences but I knew he would be safe in her yard. Another great thing was all of the puppy friends they got to play with while they were there! About: My animal experience goes way back to childhood. At the age of 7 I started in 4h, learning about animal husbandry. By the age of 13 I was volunteering at the local riding stables. By high school, I was working at the local animal shelter, volunteering with local rescues and advancing my education in dog training, with hopes of getting into service dogs. At age 19 I started working at a vet clinic This just advanced my love of animals and their care even more! Coming from a farm and vet background, I have experience with just about every animal including exotics. My personal dogs are all very well socialized with other animals of all kinds. They all have extensive training and are completely safe with others. They know just how to make our new guest feel right at home! All my boarder dogs are treated as family, allowed on beds and furniture and cage free unless otherwise requested. Bath or grooming add ons are always available! All baths/ grooms come complete with a cute Pic! Please feel free to reach out with any questions ❤️ I work from home in my at home grooming salon, so your pet will never be alone. Should I need to leave the house for small errands, there is still someone left at home, or the animal will have a safe enclosed room to themselves. My Backyard is attached to the house and fully enclosed with a large wooden privacy fence. Pets are never left outside unattended and are kept in my view at all times.

In our house, our pups are like family and yours will be welcomed with open arms. In addition to my two, I also foster for The KY Humane Society which has given me plenty of experience with puppies, senior dogs, giving meds and tending to your pups every need. Your dog will be cared for like one of our own! I work from home so your pup will very rarely be alone. If your dog has separation anxiety, then I am the perfect sitter for you! Our current feeding schedule is 8:00 and 6, so please let me know if your pup needs a different schedule. Unfortunately, I am not able to accommodate free feeding, so your pup will be on a feeding schedule while they are in my care. I require meet and greets for any new clients. I want to meet you and your pup(s) and I want you to meet mine. Even if you have the friendliest dog, not all dogs will vibe, so this step is important. **Meet and greets can be waived for dogs under 6 months but am happy to have one if that is your preference. We have a large, fenced in back yard as well as live in a safe, quiet, dog-friendly neighborhood. In our house, there is no furniture off limits. Your pups will be welcome to sleep on the bed, on the couch, or on the floor. If you prefer your dog crated at night, we can do that too! My house is set up to host dogs in the safest way possible. This includes multiple safety gates for feeding times or some alone time for your pup to chew on bones or toys. I will accompany your dog(s) on any potty breaks outside that include my dogs. My dogs are also crated when I leave to ensure everyone's safety. Both of my girls are vaccinated to boarding standards and I would prefer yours be too! This helps to keep all our pups safe! **I am happy to provide their vaccination records upon request. If you have additional concerns, please let me know and we can discuss.

About: I would love to watch your fur babies! I love caring for dogs and appreciate the laughter and energy they bring to my life. I have three adult children who have flown the coop so I now have plenty of space to play all day with your fur babies. As of 2020 I quit baking for humans in my commercial kitchen and decided to bake treats for dogs to sell at farmers markets. I have the whole day and night to spend with your dog and keep him/her busy and loved while you are away. My pack loves getting to make new friends and share their toys. There is never a dull moment in this house and someone is always making us laugh. I do have five dogs and they stay busy playing inside and out, sunbathing in the sunroom and takin naps to regenerate and do it all over again. We can crate your dog at night or have rooms available if being confined is not his/her thing. About: I’ve been working at an animal hospital for almost a year. I’ve worked with all kinds of dogs, cats, and other exotic animals. I’ve also worked with their different sizes, ages, diets, medications, etc. I’ve got a dog and 3 cats currently. I also frequently pet sit for family and friends, often overnight or over the weekend. I love to go on neighborhood walks with my dog to make sure she gets her daily exercise in. Also playing outside and enjoying the nice weather. I’m available to let dogs go on as many potty breaks as they need! For my cats, I love playing with them and seeing all the different toys to make sure they never get bored. I’ve also done my fair share of cleaning, no matter the mess, I’ll clean it up! I am a college student with at most 3 classes a day. I can do early mornings and then evenings/afternoons. During school breaks, I’ll be available all day. There may be the occasional days where I’m busy or out of town, but more likely than not I will be free and not busy. I will most likely ask the pet’s owners what they prefer on things like going outside, for walks, and other daily routines. I will constantly be checking in on the pet and making sure they’re doing okay. If anything were to happen, I would immediately contact the owner to come up with an action plan and see what they would want to do, depending on the situation. I would make sure that the home is safe and that there is nothing that the pet could get into that would hurt them.

About: I have 3 golden retrievers and rescued 2 cats. I've spent the last 6 years caring for my own animals and helping friends, family, and neighbors with theirs. I've learned how important it is to have someone trustworthy looking after your pet. I enjoy spending time outdoors, going on walks, and giving the attention and care they deserve. My goal is to make every pet feel comfortable, secure, and loved while in my care. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I’m able to be flexible and at home majority of the time. I schedule my days to ensure pets receive consistent attention, exercise, feeding, playtime, and companionship. We are household full of animals, always. When pets stay in my home, I provide a safe, clean, and comfortable environment where they can feel relaxed and cared for. I follow each pet's regular routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, exercise, playtime, and any special care instructions. For dogs we have a fenced in backyard with space to run around. A crate must be provided for overnight stays for dogs. For cats, they can roam freely. I have clean litter boxes, and opportunities for play and enrichment.
