I also learned quickly that we are just humans living in the cat’s world. And it made me love her and cats even more. I'm available many days of the week to care all day, some days on weekends as well! Other days of the week I can walk for however long is needed in the afternoon/evenings after work. Sunday and monday im available all day, tues-fri im at work 8am till (1-4pm depending on when I get out) and saturday I am unavailable for walks/drop ins because I work till around 6pm. We live in FL and we were just passing through and needed day care while we visited the Ark encounter so unfortunately we won’t be able to use Amy on a regular basis but I sure wish we could. About: We’ve had animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up on a farm in southern KY I am used to caring for a variety of animals including dogs, cats, birds, miniature pigs, guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, etc! Our animals have always been apart of our family and go where we go! Our animals are allowed on the furniture, sleep in our bed, and love to visit our parents house! I know how hard it can be to leave your pet, and that’s why when I pet sit, I treat your pets like my own because I know that’s exactly what I would want for Mia. I know every animal is different and I work with pet owners to set a plan for their pet and I follow it to a tee to keep the pet’s routine as regular as possible while the owner is away. I have extensive experience working with senior pets and pets with health problems (Mia being one herself), and I know first hand how important it is to find someone you trust to leave your pet with, especially if there are health issues, while you are gone. I relish the opportunity to meet you and your fur baby(or plural!) and would love to chat about a sitting care plan with you! More of my story: It all started when we adopted my family’s first fur baby when I was 8. As an only child, I’d begged my parents for a pet for years and they finally gave in when I was in the third grade. We adopted the last kitten left of the litter at the local pound. She was a black kitten that I named Roxy. Roxy and I were inseparable during my childhood, and I can’t imagine what it would have been like growing up without her. In 2017 when I got a place of my own that allowed pets, I adopted my first dog. Found on the streets, malnourished, severely underweight and her hair lost to mites, she had just given birth to a litter. I was volunteering as a dog walker at the local shelter at the time, and when I met her, I knew from that moment that my volunteer gig had turned into something much greater. I adopted her, and 9 years later, Mia and I are one and the same. Pet sitting is my only job so I have extensive availability for you and your pet(s) and can focus solely on your pet’s needs while you are away. I will stay at your home to keep your pet in its trusted environment. We will meet before you leave to go over routines and other details for your home and your pet’s environment.

About: We’ve had animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up on a farm in southern KY I am used to caring for a variety of animals including dogs, cats, birds, miniature pigs, guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, etc! Our animals have always been apart of our family and go where we go! Our animals are allowed on the furniture, sleep in our bed, and love to visit our parents house! I am a stay at home mom so adding a pet into our daily routine is actually pretty easy! We’re used to care for our own dog! We just have them join whatever we’re doing which makes it easier. I have two Littles who love to play outside and take them walks so I usually just have our pups tag along! Our pups routine is usually out to pee in the morning, a walk after her breakfast, lots of outdoor play or sunbathe time while me and my two kiddos play our back, another walk once the kids take their naps, more play time with the kids, another walk after dinner, then a pee break before we get into bed for the night! I’m home all day as a stay at home mom and my husband is fully remote so our pup is used to having somewhere there for whatever she needs or when we do go out and about if we’re able to we take her! Our dog frequents our parents house for even more cuddles and play! Animals are always part of the family on our end.

As I got older I began routinely house/pet sitting for my aunt who had 4 cats and my grandma who had 3 dogs.
