About: We have owned dogs since we each were children. Our dogs have been from puppies until they moved across the rainbow bridge. Mostly small to mid size dogs. Misty is home almost all the time. Tom works and is home in the evening. Week days are available with Wednesday evening pick up by 5 PM. Saturday daytime is also fine. Over night stay is available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Special arrangements could be made for Wednesday or Sunday night. We have two dogs who are each 10 years old. They will need to adapt to having other dogs visit. They have crates, and baby gate to separate as needed until all dogs are comfortable. We will give all pets plenty of attention. We have an empty room where visiting pets can spend time. We have a rope tied from tree to tree with dog leashes attached for free exercise and potty time in the yard. This keeps them safe and prevents running away. For overnight care the spare room will be supplies with a soft blanket for a bed.

About: Myself & my wife, Madison, are both teachers with the entire days off at times. With that, we will be home with your dog most of the day (if not all day!). Your dog is welcome to roam the house and sleep on our furniture just as our own dog does if we are away - whatever you are comfortable with. We are currently a two dog home right now - we have a Kelpie-mix named Aero and mini-Daschaund named Winnie! They are both playful and loving dogs that will match your own's energy! In the past I have dealt with anything from puppies to rescue dogs (just like Aero). With Aero being a rescue dog, he did suffer from extreme separation anxiety at the beginning (no longer does) so I can accommodate your dog as needed if that is the case. Your dog will be taken care of just as well as Aero - like his short-term brother/sister - through plenty of playtime and treats (if they are allowed). They will also be allowed to sleep with us in bed, and on the furniture. We all can't wait to meet you and your pup! Myself & my wife, Madison, are both teachers. This means we have weekends, most holidays, and even the entire summer off. This allows us plenty of time to play with and cater to both our own dog and yours needs however is necessary! I currently have a full 7ft fence surrounding our yard with plenty of room for your dog to ZOOM! If we need more space, then I do have access to multiple dog parks, or can take them to my family farm to run around if okay with you. I will happily accommodate any rules and routines you have in place with your dog - from crating when leaving to not being allowed on the furniture to having to work on training by working for their food. After that, my family began fostering dogs to help train and nurse them in order to get them adopted. I also have two dogs of my own that I love to exercise, play and cuddle with. About: I am a state certified veterinary technician and also someone who has had a love for all animals since I was a kid. I've been helping all animals personally (and then professionally) for years...actually decades! I treat all fur-babies as I would my own. The unconditional love we receive from our pets is something I treasure and never take for granted. Whether young pups and kittens, or senior dogs and cats, I give them all the attention and love they deserve and crave (especially while their parents/owners are away). My schedule is currently wide open, as I have just moved back to Prospect, KY recently and am looking for the right fit in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital. My schedule is quite flexible, so I can work around yours. With my state certified veterinary technician license I am able to do things that others are not. I can also tell you what may be a start of an ear infection or allergies or nothing at all! I enjoy going to dog parks, taking walks, playing fetch (or keep away haha) but also enjoy the quiet calm time while rubbing bellies and brushing hair. Also dog massages for the senior dogs helps tons with their aches and pains and I more than willing to assist. It actually puts them in a calming trance. Cats and I are a sort of soul mate (maybe it’s the name haha) but I have dealt with watching 5 cats at an owners house and 3 of the 5 had special medical needs that I was more than happy to help! They started booking me a year out ahead of time if they could!
