About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life—I’ve never known a home without a dog. Growing up, I had the opportunity to care for dogs of all sizes and temperaments, from energetic Jack Russell Terriers to loyal Labrador Retrievers and loving Pitbulls. About: I’ve had dogs since I was a kid. I’ve cared for friends and families dogs of all sizes and ages. I currently have a female American bully but in the past I’ve had English mastiffs, pit bulls, and a border collie. I enjoy high energy dogs that love to run and play as well as older dogs that just want to play around and be loved on. I’m currently on summer break. I am an athlete at Eastern Kentucky University and have required practices every day but I’m gone no longer than 3 hours per day. I currently live in an apartment with a dog park on site I also have one friendly and very active pup to keep yours company. I will always be outside with the pups they are never out there alone.

About: We've owned and cared for dogs for over 35 years. Our first dogs were a Lab and a Golden Retriever then a Pug and a Puggle and now the parents of a Lab/Husky mix. We provide loving care with plenty of exercise in our non-smoking, fenced home. About: We came across the Cavapoo breed as our loving Rottweiler was on his journey to his “better place”. We chose the Cavapoo breed as our furry rainbow puppy to help us all with the tough loss. Fast fwd 5 years, and WOW, still can’t believe the journey that was created for us. Dog breeding, training, boarding and grooming just the way I would want my pups taken care of…in a home. Our setup is ready for all stages of dogs and of course, personalities. This is a small family business and we make pet care fit seamlessly into our lives. We’re a party of 4 and all hands are always on deck. 4:00 am wake up call during the week and 6:00 am on weekends. Caring for pets in our home can consist of taking your pets normal routine that’s already established and following it. Help keep your animal on a schedule of food timing to crate or bedroom boarding. We live in a neighborhood with a 6 foot privacy fenced in back yard. A 3,000 gallon Koi pond surrounded by 800 square feet of deck. Nice plush outdoor furniture for the dogs to lounge next to the pond after a drink. We have also built a 200 square foot doggie palace on our property. Full electricity with heating/air and additional ceiling fan. Great for rainy days or dogs who are lone rangers and/or feisty.

About: I've taken care of/had the pleasure of sharing my time with the following: dogs, cats, farm animals (horses, cows, chickens, turkeys), snakes, tarantulas and turtles. I've also cared for ill pets/pets with very specific daily routines. My wife and I currently have two loving, energetic dogs (2, 7) and three clingy cats (11, 11, 10). I'm currently very flexible with scheduling as I mostly do contract and-or gig work online. I'm available every day of the week, and generally any time requested. About: I discovered pet sitting back in the early 90s (pre-internet); I ran across an ad in the newspaper for pet sitters needed for a great lady that had a Pet Nanny franchise. That was the most fun, and most rewarding job. The most amazing thing I did while in her employ was help a Basset Hound regain the use of his legs. One of my twice-weekly duties was to go over to "Kip's house," and perform physical therapy - which was simply moving all four legs in a prescribed way, for a prescribed period of time. I was so skeptical that it could work, but diligently performed the movements. I left for the birth of my oldest son before Kip's therapy concluded, but with all the people Kip's owner had hired to come in and do this consistently over several months, I was delighted to learn that he began walking again. I stopped pet sitting with the birth of my first son. Now that our sons are both grown and gone, and we work from home and my availability is flexible, it's time to jump back in! I grew up with cats, and Labs. And all the snakes, toads, and other things I could find outside. I also love and have owned (and miss) horses. I've also raised Leopard Geckos and had various other reptiles, and snakes. We currently have two dogs, two cats, and a crested gecko at home. I'm available for cat sitting, dog walks, and drop-in visits. I work from home with a flexible schedule. Not available for overnights/house sitting, as my babies (husband included) need me. Being a home and pet owner myself, security, attention, and comfort are a top priority. It's vital to me to care for others' pets (and homes) as I would my own. Every morning before work I make sure all of my animals have food and water, as well as making sure my dogs get all of their daily vitamins and dental sticks. Currently I have open availability on weekends as well as morning and night availability throughout the week. At the beginning of booking with me I would set up a meet and greet to make sure your pets are comfortable with me. After doing so, we would begin services. During services I will make sure to closely monitor your pets, keep them leashed while not in a fenced in area, keep away from road ways and other - potentially dangerous animals. I would also ensure timely medication, feeding, and watering schedules.

About: With your pets permission, they will be loved on. Pets in my care will be treated like family. I have been around pets of all kinds my whole life and have pet sat for over 5 years! The only days of the week where I’m out for more than 3 hours is Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am at home otherwise, the more time I have with your pet, the better! I do have two cats, so they will likely be separated from your pets in a boarding situation, but I live next to a dog park so it is easily accessible for pups. I have many cat toys and treat varieties as well.
About: One of the hardest things to do is trust someone to care for your pet, to make them feel safe, and treat them as family members while you’re away. That is the care I strive for with every visit! Because being away from your hoomans can feel uncertain, I provide extra play time and extra love. I also clean up their messes—if there are any, and I’m happy to help with the occasional chore when you have to be away for more than a couple of days! I am also committed to working closely with you to provide tailored care and companionship. I provide clear communication, pictures of your babies with each visit. I bring experience caring for pets of all ages—from playful youngsters to wise seniors—along with expertise in administering medications and supporting animals with special needs. Note: I’m no longer able to offer boarding services. One of my own sweet boys is getting up in years—he’s a little more fragile, and a little less patient than he once was, and I worry that boarding a stranger would cause him a lot of unnecessary stress. I work from home — this allows me some flexibility and the ability to customize my breaks and lunch based on the needs of my clients. When caring for pets in the home of my clients, it’s important to remember that the little one that I’m caring for is likely stressed because their mom and/or dad are gone, and there is a stranger (me) in their home. With that in mind, I typically spend more time with them than what is required by Rover because they need the extra time to feel comfortable with me. I take time to try to get to know them and help them feel more at ease. I treat them with the same amount of compassion I want for my own!
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my patience, attention to detail, and genuine love for animals of all personalities. I have two labs and two cats of my own, including a rescue we welcomed into our home, so I understand how important trust, routine, and a calm environment are for pets. I successfully introduced all of our animals and helped them learn to coexist comfortably, which gave me valuable experience with animal behavior, slow introductions, and reading body language. About: I have always had dogs and cats in my life. I have cared for senior animals when it got more difficult and puppies that needed round-the-clock care. I’ve also been trusted by family, neighbors, and friends to care for their homes and pets while they were away. I’m a recent college grad and have not yet found employment, so my schedule is wide open! I will be available Monday through Sunday at all hours. I do not offer boarding in my home, however I can supervise multiple dogs at once, walk dogs, follow specific feeding instructions, and respect the boundaries of your cat. For example, if I can take the pet hiking, to the park, for walks, etc. Also, does your pet get along with other animals, children, or people well, and does your pet get car sick? These variables are essential information for me to know to ensure the best care while you are away. My passion is pets, and I want to ensure your pets are comfortable and safe with me, so I highly encourage more than enough information on caring for your babies. Please note if your location is 40 miles, plus, in distance from my Rover given location, I charge for milage, for the traveling/distance in the initial reservation contact message for meet and greets. About: Many vets and technicians in my family so I see on a day to day basis how to care for animals! I’ve had dogs and cats all my life and i’ve always loved taking care of neighbors animals! We’ve also had many turtles, goats, horses, and even chickens. I am a full time college student athlete that love animals! I am very respectful and responsible and would love to love on your animals!
