About: Throughout most of my life my family has had cats. For a long time when I moved to the country, we only had one cat that was outside most of the time, his name was Henry and he was so sweet. However, after he passed, we adopted two beautiful baby kittens a few months later, Teddy and June! Me and my siblings helped raise those tiny kittens to the big beautiful fur balls they are now and they are the most loving and sweetest cats we have ever had for our family. I also help take care of cats through the humane society at my job at Petsense, I do my best to visit the local humane societies as often as I can to love on all the kitty babies. About: I've had at least four dogs as long as I can remember. As a child, they were my first companions and my second caretakers. Even as I grew into an adult, they were always there to comfort me and to brighten the darkest of days. Dogs hold a very special place in my heart and I am eager to give back what they so willingly give; love, acceptance, understanding, comfort, and joy. In the last two years, I have gone from four dogs to one, due to Cancer and Congestive Heart Failure, and I must admit that their absence has affected me deeply. I miss them so so so much!! I'm one of those people that celebrated their dog's birthdays and bought them copious presents for Christmas. While my friends were pulling out their family pics, I was always pulling out my dog pics. I share this same sentiment towards birds, rabbits, and cats; all of which I had growing up. Being surrounded by animals as a child was a great experience. It even prompted me to volunteer at the ASPCA for almost a year. As I hope you can tell, I will not only provide what your pet needs to survive, but I will also provide him/her with special attention and love. I look forward to meeting with both you and your pet! Until then, take care! I will be able to fulfill any house/pet sitting duties without any issues, as I am able to balance my obligations responsibly and with respect to myself and those that hire me. “Wow. Jade went above and beyond for my cat. I told Jade before she watched my cat, Sister, that I was nervous because she’s such an anxious cat and I didn’t want things to be too difficult. Fret not. I come home to see my cat out in the living room- basking in the sun, not a care in the world. She wasn’t hiding like she usually does when new people are around, no, she was purring and relaxed. When I went to pet Sister, I made a crazy discovery. Her nails? Trimmed. Her hair? Washed. Not only that, I had told Jade not to worry about the litter box since I wouldn’t be gone for long. And what did Jade do? She deep cleaned it. Deep cleaned my cat’s litter box just because. I mean come on. Talk about a cat sitter! I could not recommend this girl more. She’s thoughtful, she’s kind, she’s an animal whisperer. I look to be accommodating for even the busiest of schedules. I am able to come to you, or take care of pets in my own home. I have a fully fenced backyard, and live in a single story home. The backyard consists of grass, and a concrete porch. My dog does sleep in bed with me, and I can also provide other pet beds. We can also accommodate crate trained pups as well, as long as the crate is brought with the pet for their stay. On a case to case basis I can arrange special sleep arrangements, and would be happy to do so.

About: Ok! So where do I start. I collectively have 10 years of animal care experience outside of having pets my whole life. I got a dog when I was 5 years old and she had been my personal companion for 16 years on top of always being around other pets and having a cat for 10 years as well. When I was 15 years old I started volunteering at my local animal shelter, walking dogs and spending time with the cats, tending to small tasks that they would assign like cleaning litter boxes and cleaning up after the dogs. It turned into volunteering at all of my local animal shelters all through out high school. When I was 17 I ended up getting a job at my local veterinary practice as a “kennel tech.” My responsibilities there included feeding, medicating, keeping everything disinfected, clean, and organized from the lobby and waiting rooms to the kennels. From there I had moved around from various animal shelters to different animal care practices over the course of 5 years and then moved to Colorado at 22 years old where I furthered that experience. Working in doggie day cares, shelters, veterinary clinics/practices. I have experience doing it all! I’m currently focusing on more personal animal care vs working for a big corporate company so I have complete open availability! I quickly decided caring for animals was something i would want to dedicate my life to doing and being someone pet parents could trust and rely on to take great care of their babies.
