About: I’ve had pets my entire life, so I love to help take care of them and love on them! I’ve also looked after plenty of animals for family and friends when they’re out of town, with one family friend having me come back to dog sit for them for the last three years! Right now, I’m home from college for the summer, and don’t have a job, so my schedule is pretty free unless I have an appointment or other things going on on a certain day! I don’t offer boarding for pets in my own home unfortunately, but for my clients, I will make sure all their needs are met and more, playing with them and making sure they’re doing great before I leave for the day.

“I wish I could give Jeannette more than 5 stars! Jeannette agreed to watch our indoor/outdoor cat and keep an eye on our chickens while we were away. I had no idea she had never been around chickens before—you would never have guessed! We had a hen sitting on a nest and had calculated that the eggs would hatch after we got home... we were wrong! While we were away, several chicks started hatching. Jeannette didn't panic—she jumped right in. She went out and bought supplies, made sure the chicks were cared for, and handled everything like a pro, even hatching 4 chicks at her house. She also completely won over our cat, who now seems to love her more than us! Jeannette went so far above and beyond anything we expected. She treated our pets as if they were her own, kept us updated, and gave us complete peace of mind while we were gone. I recommend her with my highest recommendation. About: I’ve had pets of all types throughout my life. Growing up we had three Labrador’s, cats, fish, and many other animals in the house. They were happy and well taken care of their entire lives, even when they got older and their walks grew shorter. I’ve stayed overnight with my aunts Basset Hounds and probably spoiled them a bit while I was taking care of them. About: I have a lot of experience caring for animals! We have had animals my entire life, and I currently now have 5 of my own. Anyone who knows me knows I am an animal lover and your dogs will feel at home here. I do have children ages 6 and 3 and one cat. Should I need to leave the house for small errands, there is still someone left at home, or the animal will have a safe enclosed room to themselves. About: My Grandmother was a Colorado State award-winning dog trainer and I grew up helping her care for her three Belgian Tervurans. I've owned several dogs throughout my life as well. I have a history of volunteer work at shelters and have cared for a wide range of dogs! I have three kids aged 3, 4, and 7 who have grown up around all types of animals, including dogs of all sizes. Currently, we have one ferret, one cat, and we just rescued a puppy! We are extremely active with our animals and play with them throughout the day! My wife and I both work 35 hours a week on opposite schedules so one of us is always available! We have separate days off so 5 days a week, one of us has the day off. Outside: We have a large fenced in back yard with only one exterior entry point which is double gated. The double gated side yard is where we usually meet the owners when they come for pick up. The double gated entry way provides protection from escape artists🤣 We have a large metal container that we use as a water trough that we fill with ice water 3 times a day to keep all dogs well hydrated! We have lots of dog toys for the back yard as well. Inside: Dogs sleep upstairs on the main floor, but during the day, they have full access to the house and back yard. We do not provide kennels but will use one if the owner brings one. Dogs eat at the same time we eat. We send LOTS of pictures and updates throughout the day!

If we do not use the electric fence we use a long lead. At a clients home if they have a fenced yard I would still never leave an animal unattended, that’s just me personally. I would love to spend time with your pets outside, maybe we can play a little or if your fur babies just wanna soak up some sun and relax, I’m here for it all! If the client does not have a fenced yard I would use a long lead or regular leash and never leave the pup pup unattended. For safety both in my own home or clients I utilize a crate if necessary, and positive reinforcement for good behavior! I also have experience with muzzles and other tools(collars, leads, head leads, etc) Its not only about protecting me and others but to ensure the safety of the animal as well. I want to do what you need me to do to ensure the safety of your pets. I want peace of mind and communication for everyone! Don’t be afraid to advocate for your pet, let’s talk!

I’m 41, have a teaching degree and I work full time. Outside of work, I spend most of my free time with my own dog, Sammy. We go hiking, kayaking, walking in the woods, and even out on the river together—he’s truly part of the family. That same love and dedication is what I bring to caring for your pets. ⸻ My Care Style • I treat pets like family, making sure they get plenty of love, attention, and activity. • I follow your pet’s routine to keep them comfortable and stress-free. • Walks, playtime, and enrichment are always part of the day. • I can take pets on fun outings like park walks, trips to Lowe’s/Home Depot, or pet stores if requested. • Safety is a top priority—I drive a mid-sized SUV with a hammock in the back seat to protect pets during travel. ⸻ Availability • I work on Ft.Knox, I can walk and/or do check-ins on weekdays if you live on post (weekends also of course) • I live in Elizabethtown, I can assist in the surrounding areas before or after work hours, on my way to and from work • Weekends not limited and can accommodate anything including house sitting. ⸻ Helpful Info I’d Like to Know To provide the best care, I ask pet parents to share: • Any food or toy aggression triggers • If your pet dislikes being touched in certain areas • How they behave with kids, loud noises, or other pets • Whether they’re comfortable in new environments or around stairs • Any allergies, health issues, or special routines The more I know, the better I can make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. My daily schedule can be modified to fit your pets needs. During my work hours, typically 8-4, I can check in and/or walk your pet multiple times per day if you’re located on Fort Knox or right outside of the gate. I’m available for services early in the morning and late in the evening, and no limit or extend on the weekends. I don’t care for my dog, or any pet, like typical “normal” people do. I treat all animals as if they’re my own. I’m super flexible and can accommodate any need or request, even if you think it’s sounds crazy, super odd or outlandish. I have a mid sized SUV and I use a hammock in my back seat to prevent injuries in the event of any accidents.
About: Grew up in an animal loving household my whole life. Love to rescue, hardworking and passionate. Worked at a pet store, and take care of all types of animals at home! Love helping people and would love to help with animals :) Ive worked with dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and reptiles. Very calm and patient so no matter the behavior of the animal, I try my best to make sure they’re comfortable and taken care of! My dog is deaf and blind, so no matter what, Im not going to discriminate towards any disability the animal may have. I’m very easy going and have a flexible schedule! Any questions Im fine to answer. My step mother worked in an animal hospital so she’s taught me a lot, I just love animals!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats my whole life. I grew up on a farm, and love all animals. I watch my friends and families dogs regularly; walking, feeding, and bathing their four legged family members I do work from 8-330 Monday-Friday, but have an 1.5hour lunch daily, and always have free time after work. Outside of work, I just spend time with my dog. I have a fenced in yard, 4 year old Australian Shepard mix that loves other dogs. Tons of toys, and activities to keep your pups busy.
