We adopted her when I was in the third grade, and as an only child who had been begging my parents for a pet, Roxy quickly became my BFF. I also learned quickly that we are just humans living in the cat’s world. And it made me love her and cats even more. I'm available many days of the week to care all day, some days on weekends as well! Other days of the week I can walk for however long is needed in the afternoon/evenings after work. About: Warning ⚠️! Your furry companion will be worn out with fun activities in my large fenced in backyard, with additional happy walks and hikes. When it's time to rest, they will enjoy relaxing in my spacious clean home with plenty of love and care. I am a stay-at-home mom with children who attend summer camps. Drop off can be as early as 7:00 a.m. and for overnight stays 6:00 p.m. Pick up times can be negotiated. Large safe neighborhood, in the heart of Independence. You can trust that I will be with your pet for most of the day and I always let the owners know if I have errands to run or appointments to attend. My children are 7 and 10 years old, they absolutely love animals. They have been educated on the proper way to approach and play with dogs and cats. They have a nice fenced in back yard and was very safe for them to play in. Their two German Shepherds were very nice and friendly and got a long great with our two dogs. Mariah and Anthony were very friendly and we wouldn’t hesitate to use them again if we were in the area.”
About: I currently work at a doggy daycare/boarding business in NKY, I’ve learned a lot from working there. My love for dogs has grown more than I could imagine. I’ve had many pets growing up and I now have two of my own. I have two dachshunds named Harmony and Hazel. My favorite pet I’ve ever owned was my chinchilla! Her name was Bella. A home is not the same without a pet. I currently work a part time job and know my schedule two weeks at a time. I also have a business and work from home for that. I know my schedule usually months ahead of time. With that being said, my schedule is flexible! I can work mornings, mid day and evenings. About: I’ve been taking care of pets regularly since 2017, but I’ve loved pets for much longer. Once I adopted my first dog Mia, my love for her grew into a love for every dog I lay eyes on, and I quickly became the designated sitter for all my friends’ pets. I’ve done it all from staying at their houses, taking their pets into my house, popping in for walks or play dates, and even taking in lost animals off the street to reunite them with their owners. Anything that gives me a chance to show an animal love and genuine care sets my heart aglow. In 2017 when I got a place of my own that allowed pets, I adopted my first dog. Found on the streets, malnourished, severely underweight and her hair lost to mites, she had just given birth to a litter. I was volunteering as a dog walker at the local shelter at the time, and when I met her, I knew from that moment that my volunteer gig had turned into something much greater. I adopted her, and 9 years later, Mia and I are one and the same. I have one other part time job serving, so I have extensive availability for you and your pet(s) and can focus especially on your pet’s needs while you are away. I will stay at your home to keep your pet in its trusted environment. We will meet before you leave to go over routines and other details for your home and your pet’s environment.

Being recently separated from the Air Force, my schedule is flexible as I am seeking to ease back into work- while also maintaining flexibility, as I intend on being a full time student in the fall. If secured prior to July 1, I intend on curating my schedule to long term clients. I have an open schedule for now- but again fully intend on tending to future clients needs. I treat every pet as my own. that means with respect, patience, guidance as needed, and above all else - love and protection. I will tend to everyday tasks of living with the best quality of life in mind for each fur baby in my care.
About: We’ve had animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up on a farm in southern KY I am used to caring for a variety of animals including dogs, cats, birds, miniature pigs, guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, etc! Our animals have always been apart of our family and go where we go! Our animals are allowed on the furniture, sleep in our bed, and love to visit our parents house! I am a stay at home mom so adding a pet into our daily routine is actually pretty easy! We’re used to care for our own dog! We just have them join whatever we’re doing which makes it easier. I have two Littles who love to play outside and take them walks so I usually just have our pups tag along! Our pups routine is usually out to pee in the morning, a walk after her breakfast, lots of outdoor play or sunbathe time while me and my two kiddos play our back, another walk once the kids take their naps, more play time with the kids, another walk after dinner, then a pee break before we get into bed for the night! I’m home all day as a stay at home mom and my husband is fully remote so our pup is used to having somewhere there for whatever she needs or when we do go out and about if we’re able to we take her! Our dog frequents our parents house for even more cuddles and play! Animals are always part of the family on our end.
About: I’ve grown up around animals and currently care for two dogs and a cat of my own, so I’m very familiar with daily pet routines, feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and giving pets lots of attention and affection. I’m comfortable with different personalities and energy levels and understand how important it is for pets to feel safe and cared for while their owners are away. I always have a few treats in my back pocket any time I sit animals to ensure I reward them for good behavior! I also like to keep puppy pads, poop bags, transportable water bowls, flashlights, puppy wipes, ect. To ensure your animals needs are always being maintained!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a child, I’ve always had dogs growing up. Pets are my entire world, there’s nothing better than having a fur baby as family. I have a rescue dog myself. When I first saved her she had really bad seizures but I took care of her. I helped her, and gave her all the love and care she needed. There was a point in time the vet didn’t think she would make it. But she is now 12. She moved from Mississippi to Kentucky with me and living her best life in KY. I also have a Golden Doodle who I trained, I was able to teach him basic skills but also to be a calm dog overall. He doesn’t bite, hardly barks. He turned out to be such a good boy! I’m currently a full time student at the University of Kentucky! I am home for the summer so I have plenty of time to play with dogs anytime of the day! Caring for pets at the client’s home involves closely following their routine. This includes feeding them on time, providing fresh water, showering them with love and attention, playing with them, taking them for walks if necessary, and keeping their living space clean and safe. Additionally, I always monitor for any signs of discomfort or illness and maintain regular communication with the owner to keep them informed! By creating a calm and loving environment, I ensure that the pets feel comfortable and happy while their owners are away!
About: Hi I’m Brooke! I’ve been pet sitting for family and neighbors for over 10 years and have yet to receive a complaint. I have experience caring for animals of many sizes, temperaments, and needs. I’m comfortable administering medication, including insulin, as my own dog has diabetes. I currently work as a caregiver at a nursing home three days a week and have weekends off, which gives me flexibility and reliability in my schedule. Being a caregiver has strengthened my patience, attentiveness, and sense of responsibility, qualities I bring to pet care as well. I have a 10 year old miniature schnauzer named Cooper and a 12 year old rescue cat named Whiskers who I absolutely adore. I truly love all animals, from dogs to snakes! I have a fenced in yard with a friendly pup. My cat prefers to be outdoors, so it won’t be an issue if your pet doesn’t get along with cats. I am completely dependable and will follow all instructions to a T.
About: I can't remember a time I didn't have a dog! From birth I've always had my dog companons, I currently have 2 dogs of my own.(Deiliah, and scoob) Ive volunteered at several animal shelters delicating alot of my time to the ones who need love, and for the simple fact... How can you be sad surrounded by furry doggos...that's right you can't! I take my dog on daily walks, bathe her, love her, and play with all her favorite toys! Delilah is my rescue dog and she's been the biggest blessing to our family! I've never met a dog I don't like.. so let me love your fur babies! I accept puppies,and old dogs. All breeds are equally loved, pits, labs, Chihuahuas, and even Dobermans! I work 12 hour shifts Wednesday through Saturday. I have availability anytime after 2:00 Sunday through Tuesday I am available all day I currently work Wednesday through Saturday 2:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. I am off Sunday through Tuesday so my availability is flexible feel free to reach out During the visit if your pet gets too anxious I am able to create them a safe space or put them in their crate. I try to really behavior and adapt best to the pet.. I'm in their home therefore I adapt.

Otherwise, I’m available anytime after 5pm on weekdays and have all-day availability on weekends. If needed, I’m more than happy to stay overnight weekdays and/or weekends! I live in an apartment complex that is very pet friendly, there’s open sidewalks to walk around as well as a newly opened dog park and dog spa. I’d be happy to watch your pet all day while I work from home or can care for them after I get off work. Our apartment is very safe and situated in close proximity to various areas (10 minutes from Florence, 15-20 minutes from Hebron). I care for every pet I meet by understanding their needs and ensuring they’re always in a safe, well-maintained environment.
About: I walk the dogs at the animal shelter when I have extra time. I have done this on and off for about 3 years when I can. I work part time night shift and I’m in school 3 or 4 mornings a week, but I often have time in the afternoons and weekends. I have grown up with dogs and cats. About: I’ve had pets almost all of my life and dogs consistently for past 25 years. I have experience with senior care especially. We recently said goodbye to our loved one and our home is empty and needs some occasional love. I work from home full time Monday thru Friday. I can take breaks from work when necessary to provide any required support, such as play, potty and feedings. We have a fenced in yard. We have several dog beds, a raised feeding trough and a crate if necessary. While we don’t have any pets, neighbors on both sides have dogs.
