“Our regular boarding place had an emergency the weekend we had planned to go out of town. Jim to the rescue! His home and family is set up to care for your beloved pet. This is there passion the care of your 4 legged babies. There is a large fenced yard and indoor area for large dogs and area for smaller dogs. Sampson our bloodhound played all weekend with his two labs, and Frannie the bulldog pretty much hung out with Jim as if she was his own-even sleeping with him! I would not hesitate to let Sampson & Frannie stay with Jim and his family again. ❤️”

As each year has passed, i’ve taken care of more dogs along with other pets like guinea pigs,birds,fish and cats. i’m capable of taking care of senior dogs and ones with special needs. I know what it’s like to care for an old dog that struggles with certain things. they would still get the exact same amount of attention as any other dog would. i’m very compassionate when it comes to animals. your pets needs are first priority. they’re happiness is what matters most. any pet of yours will be loved on, cuddled and cared for with me looking after them i don’t have a job but i’m still quite busy helping my family out during the week with therapy/doctor appointments. my brother is handicapped and so he has to go to therapy a few days a week all the way up in cincinnati which takes half a day. im also helping homeschool my younger brothers during the week. in my opinion i know the weekends would work the best bc I’m usually not doing anything which means that i could have my full attention on your pet(s). however we could always talk in advance about the schedule and i could make take time during the week work if needed They’ll have my full attention. I will always play with them to get them to exercise and have some fun. I can also take them on walks and runs and take them out for potty breaks. if they need to be fed at a certain time or need any type of medicine then that is very important to know in advance. Also knowing if they get along with other people/pets. we don’t want anything bad happening so knowing anything and everything about your pet(s) in advance is highly recommended.

About: We have been fostering dogs for over 3 years, but we've had dogs our entire life. Fostered BIG, small, seniors, puppies, special needs and dogs that require post-operative care or just need a quiet place for a while. We help them find their forever home by teaching basic skills like potty training, sit/stay and socializing which increases their chances to be adopted. We live in Frankfort KY but Kelley works in Louisville KY a few days a week. Depending on dates and times, we'd would love to help you and your fur baby! We live on an acreage and have half an acre fenced! Kelley slept on a friend's couch just so her cat wouldn't be lonely one time. Dave is retired and Kelley commutes Monday & Tuesday to Louisville. We have a half acre fenced! Dogs are allowed on furniture. We have sunny rooms. We have baby pools to cool off in and the door is usually open. We also have a split level with a cement patio allowing additional space if needed.

About: I have always had pets in my life from dogs and cats all the way to smaller mammals to large farm animals. I live on 2 acres with my husband and 4 kids ( oldest being 15 and youngest being 6). We have 2 dogs ( an older pitbull mixed and young Labrador) of our own and 1 cat. We also have a very large fish tank with 3 large fish. Part of my property is fenced off with cattle fencing but the fencing is not directly connected to the house to your dogs will be walked on leash to and from fenced area or just let out on leash. Im currently a stay at home mom dealing with some medical issues and unable to work outside the home. Im home most of the time to be with your furry family I do have fenced yard but fenced isn't connected to house so your fur babies will be walked to and from fence on leash or just walked on leash. Both our dogs are very dog friendly and they both love to play fetch. Your kitty will have own space from our dogs and cat but will still get loved on and to snuggle with someone as my oldest son is in our basement.

About: My husband and I have had dogs our entire life both big and small. We currently have a medium dog who is a dream to walk, and a large dog who walks us but we love both just the same! We would love to host your fur baby at our house or drop in just to give them some love! We have 2 kids who have been raised around animals. Our normal attire is dog hair so we’re not afraid of some shedding. We haven’t been able to stretch our legs out in our bed in 10 years because no matter how comfy our dogs bed is they always end up on ours so we don’t mind if they are on our furniture or bed!

As each year has passed, i’ve taken care of more dogs along with other pets like guinea pigs,birds,fish and cats. i’m capable of taking care of senior dogs and ones with special needs. I know what it’s like to care for an old dog that struggles with certain things. they would still get the exact same amount of attention as any other dog would. i’m very compassionate when it comes to animals. your pets needs are first priority. they’re happiness is what matters most. any pet of yours will be loved on, cuddled and cared for with me looking after them i don’t have a job but i’m still quite busy helping my family out during the week with therapy/doctor appointments. my brother is handicapped and so he has to go to therapy a few days a week all the way up in cincinnati which takes half a day. im also helping homeschool my younger brothers during the week. in my opinion i know the weekends would work the best bc I’m usually not doing anything which means that i could have my full attention on your pet(s). however we could always talk in advance about the schedule and i could make take time during the week work if needed They’ll have my full attention. I will always play with them to get them to exercise and have some fun. I can also take them on walks and runs and take them out for potty breaks. if they need to be fed at a certain time or need any type of medicine then that is very important to know in advance. Also knowing if they get along with other people/pets. we don’t want anything bad happening so knowing anything and everything about your pet(s) in advance is highly recommended.

About: I have had dogs and cats all my life. All my fur babies have been trained by me. if you have a puppy that is still in training I have no problem with that. we have all been there. I worked for a year at a local animal rescue. Where I was able to strengthen my knowledge on behavioral training and pet health. I am a college student and am free lot of the time but class are during the day. So breaks away from your fur babies might be longer during the semester. My top priority is to make sure your animals are safe and secondly happy. This means checking on not only your fur babies but also your house to make sure there are no new problems arise. Checking off the to-do list is numbee one but giving your pet time to play and enrichment is also an important priority of mine.

Sampson our bloodhound played all weekend with his two labs, and Frannie the bulldog pretty much hung out with Jim as if she was his own-even sleeping with him!
