She is the only sitter on Rover who has taken the time to stay with the kitties rather than dropping in for a few minutes to put food out and leave. She followed the feeding instructions, asked questions, and showed care for the house. It's clear from the photos my kitties loved her, felt safe with her, and she spent quality time with them. I haven't seen them warm up to anyone besides me in this way. It was comforting to know they were being cared for and this allowed me to focus on my work trip. Everyone was content when returning. About: I am a dog mom of two! They are my world, but I have never met an animal I didn’t like!! Small or big they are all special and need love!! I work as a caregiver in the evenings Monday through Thursday 3:30-10 and Friday 3:30-8. So I am available all other hours of the day. I also have the flexibility if I must to make a quick stop by during working hours if I need. I have a fenced in yard and two dogs who love making new friends and having play dates! I believe that the house is there home and they are welcome to sleep and lay on the couches and beds!!

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and often helped out with my neighbors animals as needed. I enjoy walking so that is always good to have them as company I do work full time but my hours verify. So it would be good for those that don’t have the normal 9-5 job that everyone else has. Walking and playing and of course talking to them. About: I’ve taken care of dogs practically my whole life. It’s one of my greatest passions and most of my life I would dogsit for anyone who would let me growing up. I would love to make sure all of the animals are safe and well cared for while their owners are gone. I currently go to school and work part time, but there is most certainly time for me to fit in helping these families with their animals when they need it. I do live in an apartment complex but I have many years of experience with walking dogs of all kinds so I could walk it when needed. As for as toys, a crate or bedding at my apartment, I don’t have much of that, but could get some if needed.

About: I have cared for animals since I was 10 years old! No animal is to big or small for me! Neighbors , friends , and family have relied on me to watch , bathe , feed , and play with their pets . I also have a 2 year old super active border collie and a 3 month old German Shorthair Pointer both are loved and spoiled! I am free during the week from 4:30 - 9 pm ! And 9am-8pm on weekends! About: I have taken care of many dogs ever since I was young, Ive had pet dogs my whole life, and I love loving on them I am a college student, on days I have class, I should be able to take care of the dog in between classes. On days I don't have class, I have much more flexibility to walk dogs and play with them and such. I'm happy to treat your precious pup however you want me to, I love sleeping with dogs in bed at night if that's what they are used to. I love giving them lots of belly rubs (and treats if it's allowed), and taking them on nice long walks.
About: I've had at least four dogs as long as I can remember. As a child, they were my first companions and my second caretakers. Even as I grew into an adult, they were always there to comfort me and to brighten the darkest of days. Dogs hold a very special place in my heart and I am eager to give back what they so willingly give; love, acceptance, understanding, comfort, and joy. In the last two years, I have gone from four dogs to one, due to Cancer and Congestive Heart Failure, and I must admit that their absence has affected me deeply. I miss them so so so much!! While my friends were pulling out their family pics, I was always pulling out my dog pics. I share this same sentiment towards birds, rabbits, and cats; all of which I had growing up. Being surrounded by animals as a child was a great experience. It even prompted me to volunteer at the ASPCA for almost a year. “I recently moved from NY to KY and was in need of someone to help care for my four dogs. I had spoken to many people and wasn’t comfortable with anyone as I had my prior dog walker in Ny for over 10 years. I found Tanika and she and I hit it off right away: she was super accommodating to my ever changing schedule. I was nervous to have my one rescue dog meet anyone because he could be unpredictable. Tanika came armed with treats and was relaxed and so easy going with all the dogs that he took to her first!!!! Tanika had been above and beyond amazing . About: Im here to help offer the most relaxing experience for your animal. Also to assure that your animal feels at home and is getting the personal care that each individual animal needs. I do have 2 loving animals, a golden retriever and a corgi here in the home. There is always a family member here on the property full time. I have a large property for the animals to roam and a large section of it is fenced in. I love going on walks and doing outdoor activities and hope you choose to let your animals have a fun experience with our family. 😁 I run a business from the home. I'm always here and have lot of time to play catch! We're available for holidays and extended stays! I have a large fenced in yard with two loving dogs that love to play with other puppies. I live in a quiet subdivision in the country with lots of trees, grass and fresh air. If your animal feels more comfortable in a crate, I do have those options, but would prefer them to be able to roam free in the household.

About: I’ve been an avid animal lover since I was a kid. I have worked with and been around a wide variety of animals including cats, dogs, chickens, ducks, rabbits, fish, ferrets and more. Not only do my own animals rely on me for quality care, I have had the pleasure of caring for other animals while friends and family are away. Currently I am the owner of 4 dogs, 26 chickens and 9 ducks. Every morning before work I make sure all of my animals have food and water, as well as making sure my dogs get all of their daily vitamins and dental sticks. Additionally my dogs get monthly flea/tick prevention and heart worm prevention. Right now this will just be a part time job but I am hoping to expand and make this my full time and only job. Currently I have open availability on weekends as well as morning and night availability throughout the week. Caring for pets is a big responsibility and I take pride in knowing animals will be safe with me. At the beginning of booking with me I would set up a meet and greet to make sure your pets are comfortable with me. After doing so, we would begin services. During services I will make sure to closely monitor your pets, keep them leashed while not in a fenced in area, keep away from road ways and other - potentially dangerous animals. I would also ensure timely medication, feeding, and watering schedules.

I have experience providing senior pets with the extra patience, attention, and care they may need, including helping maintain their regular routines. I’m also comfortable administering medications, including oral medicine, pills, eye drops, and other medications as directed by the owner. I understand how important it is to follow each pet’s routine carefully and make sure they feel safe and comfortable. I have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention and work around their usual routines. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting and can be flexible with timing based on each pet’s needs. When caring for pets in their home, I always follow the owner’s instructions and make sure their pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. I’m respectful of each home and pay close attention to doors, gates, leashes, medications, and anything else that helps keep pets safe. About: I have dog sat and walked for family and friends for years. I am the mom of a mini schnauzer Loki and cat Sylvie. Animals bring so much joy into the world and I try to bring joy into their days as much as I can! I am an Athletic Trainer at a local high school. I work evenings so have the whole morning free. I love exercise and often walk my own dog 4-5 times a day. I have lived with dogs my whole life. I know how to feed, walk, and love a dog. I will treat your furr babies like they are my own. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a little kid. I grew up with a Yorkie named Simon. Then I adopted my first dog, Sam. She gave me loads of experience in pet ownership and many life lessons. Sam had epilepsy, so I am very skilled in taking care of medically complicated pets. I currently have two dogs: Bella (6 year old hound mix) and Eloise (6 month old Golden Retriever). I am a teacher from August-May. I teach from 8am-3pm and I have no other obligations outside of that. I am of course willing to provide care before 8am and right when I leave school at 3pm. Both of my dogs are crate trained and friendly towards other dogs. For drop in care, I will follow all required and requested directions from the owner. This includes all feeding, potty, medication, grooming, and play needs!
