“Rebecca was fabulous! Agreed to dog sit for us at the very last minute when our booked dog sitter forgot and wasn’t home. Took such good care of our girl Lily. Gave her constant attention. Even took her shopping to Lowe’s. She had toys and other friendly dogs for Lily to play with. Lily was a happy and tired dog at the end of the day. Meanwhile, we were able to explore caves and have lunch and dinner without worrying about Lily. Even got pictures periodically and a cute video. Would definitely use Rebecca again!”

About: Hello there! I am Allison. I’ve lived on a farm my whole life so animals is all I know! I have several dogs and cats of my own so I’m very familiar with animals and their own needs! Growing up my family gave me a dog to start out with so that I could learn responsibility and to learn what it took to take care of an animal, so I learned at a young age and I’ve been doing it every since! I don’t mind to travel to help out with your animals and give them the love they deserve while you are out and about. I also have a toddler who is wonderful with animals and she would love to meet yours! I work with animals all day, every day! The perks of living on a farm. I personally have five dogs that need love and attention. I like to follow instructions. The most important thing is keeping animals on their schedules/routines while on a trip or just visit. Love and compassion helps an animal from stressing unnecessarily.

“Taryn was AMAZING! I was nervous leaving my cats and had never used Rover before, but I'm so happy I found Taryn. She sent me regular updates and pictures of all my cats, so I still felt very connected to them and felt comfortable that they were doing well. She was patient with my two timid cats and I got the sense that they all loved her! I felt like Taryn truly took the time to care for my cats and I know they had good company while I was away. She also fed the strays/feral cats while I was gone which was not necessary but very much appreciated. My house was also very clean when I came home--Taryn cleaned out all the bowls and the kitchen area and left everything very organized which was a nice extra touch. I will 100% hire Taryn again!”

About: I have been working with all kinds of animals since I was a young child. I have even worked at as a veterinary assistant and a zookeeper. I have been pet sitting for over 20 years and due to my specialized experience, I can take care of almost any special needs or medication requirements. In addition, I have special experience in animal behavior and training to notice when something may be wrong. Most of all, I love dogs, cats, snakes, rodents, and all kinds of exotics. I have also fostered animals to make sure they don't end up in shelters. Animals tend to notice me from across the room and I'm sitting on the floor with them before long, enjoying face licks or purrs. This is the kind of TLC that will be shared with any animal I have to chance to spend time with while you're away. My schedule is very flexible. I tutor, pet sit and volunteer at a local theater. So, it is easy to fit our schedules together in a way that works for everyone. In addition, my husband sometimes helps me out to make sure we can get the hours you need. He only comes if he is able to come to the meet and greet and be approved by you. He is incredible with animals as well. There is no extra charge, just 2 incredible animal lovers for the price of one. At home, I have 3 indoor cats and a corn snake. All our animals were either from a foster home or strays. We've also taken in animals with special needs as fosters or permanent in our home. They call us when an animal needs extra care. Our 12 yo female found us as a stray and we think she was the runt of the litter. She's a total diva princess The snake is what we call a foster fail because we ended up adopting her because of her her special needs. She came to us after having been injured by cats breaking into her cage at the home before us. We gave her special baths, pain medication and anti-biotic shots and nursed her back to health over months. By the time she was healed, she was ours. She is now the longest corn snake we've ever seen at over 5 feet. We show a lot of love to our cats and they want to be around us as often as possible. They always have access to food and clean water, and their litter is cleaned daily. When we have foster rats. They get a yummy salad and/or leftovers daily, and any leftovers are removed from her cage shortly. Our most recent geriatric rat (They only live 3-5 years and we get them towards the end of life because no one else wants them) had extra time daily because she was neglected for the first 2 1/2 years of her life and this gentle love and training turned her into a sweet rat, enjoying the last few months she had to the fullest. When pet sitting, I spend extra time taking care of all animals needs and giving them the love they deserve. I also send at least one picture a day so you can feel connected to your babies while you're away. I also have no issue bringing in mail, taking out trash or other daily things that may need to get done. I like to leave your furry children and your home better than I found it. We have had dogs, but not currently due to the size of our home and wanting to have more flexibility in our schedule for pet sitting, etc.

About: I provide dependable, personalized care and treat every pet like they’re part of my family. I understand that every dog has different needs, whether they’re a playful puppy, an energetic adult, or a senior who needs extra patience and attention. I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions, administering medications if needed, maintaining routines, and providing regular updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. Pet care fits well into my schedule because I work PRN, which gives me flexibility to accept bookings when I’m available and devote quality time to the pets in my care. Since pet sitting is something I genuinely enjoy, I view it as both a rewarding hobby and an opportunity to spend time with animals. Because I have a flexible schedule, I can accommodate walks, feeding schedules, playtime, potty breaks, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I make it a priority to keep pets comfortable and maintain their normal routines while their owners are away. My goal is to provide reliable, loving care so both pets and their owners can feel at ease. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, my priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise, medications, and any special instructions provided by the owner. I make sure pets receive plenty of attention, playtime, and affection while also respecting their individual personalities and needs. For active pets, I provide walks and enrichment activities. For senior pets or those who are more reserved, I’m happy to offer a calmer environment with extra patience and care. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat their home with the same respect I would my own. I keep owners updated with messages and photos so they can have peace of mind knowing their pets are happy and well cared for while they’re away.

A Special Perk: With your permission, I’m happy to include a sample of our premium, slow-cooked treats from Pet Wants for your pet to try! "I treat every visitor with the same focus on longevity and vitality that I give to my own. Your pet's health is my business—literally." Hello! I’m David. Friends and family know me as Dwain, and my life is dedicated to the health and happiness of animals. As the owner of Pet Wants Glasgow, I don't just "watch" pets—I advocate for their total wellness. Whether it’s a high-energy dog walk or a quiet cat check-in, I bring a level of professional oversight and nutritional expertise that most sitters can't offer. Professional Standards for Every Pet As the owner of a pet nutrition franchise and a C-Corporation, my approach to safety is built on professional accountability. I understand that your pets are family, and I treat my responsibility to them with the same level of care and organization I bring to my business operations. My Safety Protocols: Secure Transport: I use a 2018 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk, which is well-equipped for safe pet transport in various weather conditions and terrain. Structured Interaction: I focus on "calm energy" and structured routines to ensure pets feel secure and unstressed, whether we are on a walk or a drop-in visit. Knowledgeable Oversight: My background in researching animal behavior, nutrition, and husbandry allows me to spot potential health or behavioral issues before they become problems. Community Accountability: Being a local business owner in Munfordville and Hart County means my reputation is my most valuable asset; you can trust that I will be there exactly when I say I will.
