I do have one dog I sit for that doesn’t do walks so I adjust to what the clients needs. On overnight stays, I do clean up and bring in mail/ newspaper if the clients ask. “I had captured a stray cat and then found out she had 3 kittens. We were planning to go on vacation in October, but I desperately needed to find someone who could take care of this family. Not an easy task. I discovered Ariel through Rover. She agreed to take them. Mama kitty was still quite wild and had not been outdoors since I captured her. She was able to stay in the large dog kennel/cage in which we brought her. She stayed outside on Ariels covered porch which was perfect for her and gave her a chance to finally wean off the kittens, which was long overdue! Kittens stayed together inside her house. All of the cats were terrified at first. One kitten and Mama kitty remained fearful and would not let Ariel pet them or pick them up, but I'm happy to report this was temporary. The day we brought them home, the kittens all relaxed and began purring loudly. I was afraid that since we were gone almost 3 weeks they would all revert back being unsocialized, but that was not the case. Even wild Mama who still won't let me pet her, is relaxed and plays sometimes with kittens! I would recommend Ariel as a sitter and I am grateful she helped us be able to go on vacation.”

About: I’ve had dogs since I was a kid. I’ve cared for friends and families dogs of all sizes and ages. I currently have a female American bully but in the past I’ve had English mastiffs, pit bulls, and a border collie. I enjoy high energy dogs that love to run and play as well as older dogs that just want to play around and be loved on. I’m currently on summer break. I am an athlete at Eastern Kentucky University and have required practices every day but I’m gone no longer than 3 hours per day. I currently live in an apartment with a dog park on site I also have one friendly and very active pup to keep yours company. I will always be outside with the pups they are never out there alone.

About: I have over 10 years of pet care experience! I am a responsible pet owner of (3) small dogs. I do have basic training experience and have crate trained all three of my dogs successfully (after many sleepless nights of course). I work from home full-time so I am always at home and available for drop ins, doggy day care, or boarding! My house has a fenced in yard and all three of my dogs are up to date on vaccinations, including Bordetella. I also walk our dogs daily (weather permitting) so you can ensure your little one will get exercise, if they would like it that is! I have also fostered rescue dogs previously through Paws 4 a Cause in Lexington. I am an avid animal lover and will treat your dog as one of my own. Please note: due to my dogs being smaller (all under 25 pounds) I wont be able to accept dogs larger than 30-40 pounds. My dogs are tough and love to play, but we want to avoid any play injuries! I work from home full-time so I will be available throughout the day for your pet. I am able to let your pet out, or drop by and check on your pets many times throughout the day. Even when my schedule is busy I still usually have time to step away for pet care! I care for the pets in my home by keeping a watchful eye over them. They have access to our backyard and I ensure to step out and check on them often. I know what foods are safe for dogs and what foods are dangerous. My dogs are on different medications (for allergies), so I am well versed on giving oral medications if needed as well. If I am checking on your pet(s), or staying over at your place, you can rest assured that I am taking care of your pet(s) as if they were my own!

The only days of the week where I’m out for more than 3 hours is Tuesdays and Thursdays. I am at home otherwise, the more time I have with your pet, the better! I do have two cats, so they will likely be separated from your pets in a boarding situation, but I live next to a dog park so it is easily accessible for pups. I have many cat toys and treat varieties as well.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for ten years. Four of these years in veterinary medicine. I am CPR certified and have experience bathing, grooming, pet sitting, bottle feeding, medicating, and overall caring and loving and playing with animals. I work a full time job in Richmond Kentucky at an emergency clinic! I would have to schedule pick ups and drop offs but that’s the biggest part. Your dog MUST be cat friendly. If they are not, I cannot accommodate as I have four and will not risk their well-being. I don’t have a fenced in yard, so I would have to leash walk but we are on two acres. I do have a dog park about 5 minutes from my home so I could transport there and back and that park IS fenced in. I am able to feed three times a day if needed and 2-3 potty breaks! Playtime is also important so I dedicate about 10-15 minutes twice a day (morning and night) for play. We have plenty of toys as well. For cats I have a separate room of the house they can call their own so I can only accommodate one kitty at a time as I have 4 cats myself.
About: I have been dogsitting for over 5 years. The clients I have worked for I have done overnight stays, dog walks, and day sitting for up to 8-10 hours. I do have one dog I sit for that doesn’t do walks so I adjust to what the clients needs. On overnight stays, I do clean up and bring in mail/ newspaper if the clients ask. I am a big animal lover so your dog/ cat will get lots of love. I do have a clients that likes to receive pictures during my stay. The dog will get plenty of exercise and playtime. Also I am flexible and very reliable. I can provide references of my regulars if needed and their type of dog. I enjoy providing lots of fun and love. I am flexible and reliable. I am able to meet to whatever the client might need. I am available whatever day and time. I do my best to meet the needs of the client. I haven’t cared for other animals in my home besides my own. Animals and caring for them are my life! Here’s my why: My grandmother lost her husband at a young age. She never dated again. She took in dogs and taking care of those dogs became her life purpose. Growing up, I would always want to visit my grandmother so that I could stay up all night with her and take care of the dogs. It became our thing. I feel that I am now living out my grandmother’s purpose by fulfilling my own purpose in giving unconditional love and care to any animal that crosses my path, just as she would have done. I love animals, and quite honestly, more than people, haha! About: My family has always had dogs in the home since I was 6. I’ve had my two dogs for the past 5 years, one of them is 5 and the other is a 12 year old rescue. I have experience with potty and crate training. I am a SAHM which allows me to give our pets as much attention as possible. I’m home for feedings, potty breaks, and daily walks. I do not have a fenced in yard, my dogs do a good job of staying within our property limits. However I also have different leashes to go out with them.
