About: I have helped raise a bottle fed kitten and cared for a senior beagle in his last year. I care for and adopt mostly adult dogs, but I haven't met one I don't like! I work from home, so my schedule is flexible to fit in lots of home visits with overnight stay possible! I have my own dog that goes out 3 times a day already, so fitting in pet care is a breeze! I have an apartment with 2 bedrooms where dogs can sleep separate from my own dog. My complex is very dog friendly with all pets on leash, and large areas to sniff and poop as well as a park & track in walking distance.

About: We have owned dogs since we each were children. Our dogs have been from puppies until they moved across the rainbow bridge. Mostly small to mid size dogs. Misty is home almost all the time. Tom works and is home in the evening. Week days are available with Wednesday evening pick up by 5 PM. Saturday daytime is also fine. Over night stay is available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Special arrangements could be made for Wednesday or Sunday night. We have two dogs who are each 10 years old. They will need to adapt to having other dogs visit. They have crates, and baby gate to separate as needed until all dogs are comfortable. We will give all pets plenty of attention. We have an empty room where visiting pets can spend time. We have a rope tied from tree to tree with dog leashes attached for free exercise and potty time in the yard. This keeps them safe and prevents running away. For overnight care the spare room will be supplies with a soft blanket for a bed.

About: I am a doctoral candidate in Biology at UofL, so you know I'm good at organization and scheduling! I think my time as a graduate student has sharpened my reasoning and communication skills as well. It's also increased my animal handling experience (mice)! I've had pets my whole life, mostly cats and dogs. My most recent pet is an elderly shi tzu with a surprising amount of energy! Apollo is a very skiddish cat, but we've definitely earned each others' trust. I can drop by to check on your pet, take them out for a walk (if weekday, must be before 10am or after 5pm, can be flexible), check on them periodically to feed them, or house sit (weekends only). I am a grad student, so I'm usually busy during weekdays 10am-5pm. Most of my work now is away from the bench, so I can be a little flexible about those hours Weekends are generally open! I love in an apartment that doesn't allow animals so I can't keep any here. I can however watch your furry friend at your house or take them on walks around the neighborhood!

“Gabriella was a terrific host for my boy Jax. She gave me many updates with pictures and videos and met all Dietary needs my 10 year old pup needed. She is very nice and friendly and her dog Yeti is very friendly and happy to see other dogs. My dog tends to have some anxiety but the atmosphere was so positive for him he was playing with toys and her dog Yeti in no time. I highly recommend her for any services you might need for your dogs. Thank you for taking great care of my boy I appreciate it!”
“Dan is amazing!! She went above and beyond and gave multiple updates each day with photos and how my cat was doing. Dan cared for her like she was her own and was very attentive to my cat’s needs and quirks. She was always on schedule with feedings and changing the litter. About: I’ve lived with cats my whole life but have taken care of pets on and off for family and friends! I’m a full time nanny so care is my specialty! I’m available for boarding on weekends but on weekdays I work full time. Always reach out though, my schedule is ever changing and I am always down to make things work! I have a big unfenced yard with a creek for your fur baby to have some fun! There are parks near by for walking! When it comes to cats, I have my own room with a big window looking out at the creek to keep them away from my roommates two cats!
