About: Welcome! We're the Phenix family—a family of six (plus our two sweet dogs!). We understand that leaving your dog with someone else is a big decision, and we strive to provide a safe, loving, and fun home away from home. I work from home with a flexible schedule, which means visiting dogs are rarely left alone for more than a few hours and have plenty of opportunities to get outside. Safety is one of our top priorities. Our spacious backyard is fully fenced with a secure 4-foot wrought iron fence, giving dogs lots of room to run and play. We know some pups are talented escape artists, so our gates are secured with locks, and every guest wears an AirTag during their stay as an extra precaution—just in case we have a little Houdini on our hands! Our 2 resident pups are Athena (a Collie) and Lulu (a Beagle mix). Both are 10 years old, gentle, and experienced hosts. We've been dog sitting for over 9 years, so they're very comfortable welcoming new furry friends into our home. They're great at reading other dogs' body language and are happy to play or simply give visiting dogs their space if that's what they prefer. To keep everyone happy and healthy, all dogs are fed separately to prevent food-related conflicts, and we only give treats and food provided by each owner to help avoid upset stomachs or dietary issues. We look forward to welcoming your pup into our family and treating them like one of our own while you're away! Our day starts with dogs being let out to go to the bathroom at 6am then breakfast. We have had some late sleepers stay with us, so we do adjust for our sleepy friends. Dogs have access to the backyard whenever they would like and we have plenty of dog toys for them to enjoy. We are happy to accommodate any feeding schedule, so we can keep your pup as close to their normal routine as possible. We have a fully fenced in yard with locks on the gates. Since we know some dogs are great at escaping, we have an air tag just in case.

About: I’ve been dog sitting since I was 16 for neighbors and friends and I love it. I bathe, walk, and play with them and make sure all their needs are taken care of. I am currently a senior at the University of Louisville so I have plenty of time to take care and love your little ones. I love meeting new pups and cats! I have a nice backyard with no houses behind it and a friendly dog and cat who love a little company. Our dog is 2 and our cat is 3!

About: I have been a lifelong lover of all animals in every shape, size, and species! I grew up with a dog and cat and now I have my own dog and 3 cats! I did long term pet sitting for two years while in college and now I’m ready to return full time! Animals have always been my passion in life so I cannot wait to meet yours! I also previously worked in a vet clinic so I now have knowledge in animal handling, grooming, administrating medication, and a basic understanding of common pet issues/illnesses. Fitness is also a passion of mine so I would love to take your pets on fun, long walks around the area! I am also a portrait photographer on the side so you are guaranteed to get good photos of your beautiful fur babies! My own dog, Mateo, has always been a spirited pup to say the least! I currently work full time Monday-Friday 8:30am to 5pm. So currently I have open availability on the weekends and can be available during the week after 5pm. I absolutely care for your pets as if they were my own. I know how hard it can be to have to leave your precious babies in someone else’s care but I promise to update you every step of the way! From when I arrive to your home, during the visit, and when I am leaving your home. If you have any questions during the visit I will be able to answer you right away! My top priority is not only your pet but also making sure you feel comfortable every step of the way.
About: I live in a pet-friendly apartment complex with plenty of space outdoors, perfect for the frequent pit stop and play time. Just down the street from me is a beautiful dog park, with lots of space to run, play, and socialize with other dogs! I would be thrilled to provide a comfortable and safe environment for your loved ones, worry free for both you and them, while on vacation. I'm an animal lover and can promise you they'll receive lots of attention, play time, and affection, while you are off enjoying some time to yourself! My current schedule is flexible and allows me time for drop in visits, daily walks and overnight boarding for most of the day and evening. I know every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, so I tailor my care to each individual animal. In a client’s home, I follow their normal schedule as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, medications, potty breaks, playtime, and any special instructions you provide. I’m very attentive to changes in behavior, appetite, energy level, or anything else that seems out of the ordinary, and I’ll always communicate with you if I have any concerns. I’m also happy to send photos and updates so you can feel comfortable knowing how your pet is doing while you’re away. About: I was a three times a day dog walker for an elderly neighbor. When she passed I took ownership of dog. Now I am looking for some new clients. I work from home and dog walk. I focus on practical, real-world training—whether that’s working with puppies, improving leash manners, or helping nervous dogs build confidence. Every walk and interaction is handled with intention. For me, care and training go hand in hand, with the goal of helping dogs become calmer, more reliable, and easier to live with. Caring for dogs is already part of my everyday life, so it fits naturally into my routine. I plan my schedule around the dogs I’m working with so I’m not rushing between visits. That means each dog gets calm, consistent attention and a much better experience overall. Care is always tailored to the dog and the service, but the approach stays consistent: calm, structured, and intentional. In a client’s home, I stick closely to their routine—feeding, potty breaks, exercise, and any specific instructions—while also reinforcing good habits like leash manners, calm greetings, and settling. In my home, I keep the environment structured and low-stress. Dogs get supervised time, appropriate exercise (including trail walks when it’s a good fit), and clear boundaries so they can relax and succeed. About: Hi! I have been taking care of animals for as long as I can remember, and animals have always been one of my biggest passions. I currently have two rescue dogs and a rescue kitten, so I am constantly surrounded by animals and am very familiar with the care, attention, and love they require. My dogs are apartment dogs with a small yard, so we average about 5–6 walks a day. Walking, playing with, and loving on animals are genuinely some of my favorite things to do. About: I grew up with dogs and cats in and outside the home. Even had my own cat (Princess) for five years before she passed. I’ve never been paid to take care of animals for people outside the family but I’ve done plenty of animal care for family members. I am on my off season for work till August 26th. My daily routine for when I’m off work like this is going to peddlers malls, parks, and hanging out inside reading or watching shows. Usually free during the week any time and the weekends I am generally more busy. I do not have the facilities to bring any pets back to my apartment but I always respect people’s wants for their pets especially since you’d be paying me to do a good job.

About: A retired couple who love animals and are willing to care for younger dogs all the way up to seniors. We have two dogs in the home. I will provide a safe, clean, welcoming home environment for your furry pet family members. I have a fenced in backyard. I also live on a cul-de-sac so I can walk the pets safely. We are also on 8 acres so they will have plenty of space to play and explore. I provide regular photos and communication so that you have peace of mind while you are away. We would love to care for your furry family member at Serenity acres. Being a retired couple, we take care of our two dogs and our horse. We love being outdoors. Your pet will get a lot of attention and outside fun. Pets are taken out on a regular basis to explore our farm. We will keep them on leash at all times when they are not in a fenced area.
