However, after he passed, we adopted two beautiful baby kittens a few months later, Teddy and June! About: We would love to take care of your furry family member while you're away! We will make sure he has a marvelous time with all of us. My husband and I grew up on farms in Kentucky and have loved dogs all our lives. Reagan is sweet and smart, but mostly keeps to herself unless your dog wants to engage with her. We have a small fenced yard, and there are lots of walking areas nearby. We would take your dog to the dog park with us around the corner if you like, or we can head over to the nearby park! We do have a cat named George and a young daughter, so it is important that your furry friend be comfortable around both. George mostly keeps to himself, so as long as your dog doesn't chase or bark at him, things should go fine! Why I love dog sitting We've loved dogs our entire lives. We both grew up with dogs and firmly believe that they are a blessing to us! About my yard We do have a small yard! My experience administering medication Yes, we are comfortable administering medication. I work from home so am happy to have a furry friend keep me company and get some exercise together. Your pet won’t be lonely! I have a fully fenced yard with lots of space to play and explore. The fenced area is almost 1/2 an acre so plenty of room.
About: I was born into an animal-loving family and I have continued to instill this love for animals in my own children. I have had a menagerie of animals all of my life. At the young age of 12, I started walking the neighbors' dogs and going to their houses when they were out of town to feed, water, and walk their pets. In college, I worked part-time in several different veterinary clinics. I am still very well connected to the veterinary world so if I am unsure of something involving my pets, I am able to reach out to get an answer pretty quickly. Over my lifetime of 40 yrs. I have had at least 20 dogs, 10 cats, several rabbits, horses, chinchillas, guinea pigs, hamsters, and a few reptiles (but no snakes). In my full-time job, I have a hybrid work schedule. Some days I am in the office and some days I work from home. This allows some flexibility when caring for fur babies. My family also helps care for our "animal guests". It is a group effort! I have a 1/2 acre that is fenced. I have 3 dogs- a Newfoundland, Black Lab, and a Beagle. All of my dogs are rescues. I know that I rescued them but as cheesy as it sounds, most days I feel like they rescued me. Each of them has their own personality, which I love. My dogs are usually always by my side when I am home. My dogs love to jump on the bed or couch and get snuggles. I also have 3 cats. All of them found us. They were all dumped on us and of course, I couldn't turn them away. :) I would treat your animals the same way I treat mine- with love and snuggles.

About: I've had a fur baby in my arms since I was a child. Not only did I raise my own, but I've kept my friends, my co-workers and my son's dogs while they were out of town, for a day, a week and sometimes longer. I cared for my son's senior boy while he worked, and then he brought the newest baby to me everyday she when she was a puppy, so she wasn't home alone and I could potty train her with love. I raised our German shepherd with my sons from the time she and my youngest were both just 8 weeks old. When Libby was almost 18 yo we had to have our vet assist her in crossing the rainbow bridge. From there I got my first tiny dog, a little boy named Dexter, Chihuahua 6.6 lbs, and then shortly after I got Danika, Chihuahua 5.5 lbs. They went everywhere with me, vacations, nail salon, shopping. They had a purse they loved to jump right in and 2 booster seats so they were secured safely in my car. I lost Dexter to heart disease at 14 yo and poor little Danika was lost without him. I adopted Lucylle, Chihuahua 6 lbs, she was 2 yo. She was left at the vet by her previous family, that never came back to get her. She was very aggressive towards everyone in the beginning and it took me 3 months of patience and love to bring her out of it. By that time her and Danika were best friends, and loving companions, of course they went everywhere with me. We lost Danika just few months ago, she was 16 yo. That's when I decided to start my journey with Rover, to bring some added joy into mine and Lucylle's life and give other fur babies a safe and loving place to visit when family were away. I retired 04-2024, Lucylle and I have plenty of time on our hands. I bought a patio home, with a nice fenced back yard, where I sit in the morning or anytime during the day/evening and watch Lucylle go out and do her business or just play. We take walks around the neighborhood or down at the walking trail. My neighbors are also dog lovers, they just love little Lucylle. I have a fenced back yard for them to play in with my girl, and I keep a watchful eye on them when they are outside. I can crate your baby if needed, as I do my own sometimes. I have little beds and/or a blanket for them to snuggle when they are napping. Being retired gives me plenty of time for your fur baby (and mine). Caring, playing and loving them as if they were my own.

About: For 8 years I have been working in the animal industry. I started as a pet groomers assistant at a two vet clinics. I quickly decided caring for animals was something i would want to dedicate my life to doing and being someone pet parents could trust and rely on to take great care of their babies. About: I have taken care of my own current dog, Mack, since I was 12. I've had several other family dogs in the past that I have helped raise and train as well, I've taken care of other people's animals before, and I have always truly loved all animals. ❤️ I love to walk dogs, or cats! I can also bathe, feed, and make sure your pet has the best care. I am currently available to take care of your pet when I do have my days off, I will start substitute teaching soon so this could potentially affect my daytime availability. I have worked part-time at Petsense and I currently work at Tractor Supply, but I will work around my schedule at any point to try and help you with your fur babies! Personally, I treat my dog like he is my baby because he's part of my family. I love him very much and love to sit and play with him, give him snuggles, and take him with me on walks because I simply love being in the presence of animals. They make me so happy, and I do what I can to make sure your animals are happy and taken care of too. They deserve it!
About: I have always had dogs and cats in my life. I have cared for senior animals when it got more difficult and puppies that needed round-the-clock care. I’ve also been trusted by family, neighbors, and friends to care for their homes and pets while they were away. I’m a recent college grad and have not yet found employment, so my schedule is wide open! I will be available Monday through Sunday at all hours. I do not offer boarding in my home, however I can supervise multiple dogs at once, walk dogs, follow specific feeding instructions, and respect the boundaries of your cat. For example, if I can take the pet hiking, to the park, for walks, etc. Also, does your pet get along with other animals, children, or people well, and does your pet get car sick? These variables are essential information for me to know to ensure the best care while you are away. My passion is pets, and I want to ensure your pets are comfortable and safe with me, so I highly encourage more than enough information on caring for your babies. Please note if your location is 40 miles, plus, in distance from my Rover given location, I charge for milage, for the traveling/distance in the initial reservation contact message for meet and greets. About: As far as cats go, I have experience bathing, brushing, and trimming nails. As well as bathing and brushing for dogs. I also have experience administering liquid and pill medicine for both cats and dogs. :) I am the parent of a lazy domestic short hair cat named Eddie. I’ve had him for about three years and before Mr. Eddie, I’ve helped in providing care for many cats and dogs of all different breeds for family and friends. I feed Eddie twice a day (morning and night) and refill his water fountain every morning. Litter is changed every other day. He has two cat towers and more toys than I can count. He enjoys playing with other cats and has no problem sharing his space. As for pets in others homes I follow routines exactly as instructed.
