About: I have been pet sitting since I was 16 years old. I am often asked by coworkers of family to house sit during their vacations. I have pet sat dogs, cats, fish, and even chickens! I am comfortable waking, giving medication, and cuddling (my personal favorite), whatever your pup needs! I have two dogs of my own. One of my dogs is a senior and is high need due to his bone cancer. He requires daily medication and will until we are able to remove the leg. My other pup is a rambunctious lab, who is high drive and needs daily stimulation so he doesn’t anger his older brother. I often take him on walks or use the pond near our home to tire him out! I am used to house sitting in all types of homes. If your pup needs a daily walk I am can do that. If they’re an outside pup we can take a walk or even a hike! I stay at the home and don’t leave often. I ask that a physical copy of directions are left so that I can give the 100% proper care and able to contact through phone as well!

“I was once where you are now. Scrolling through Rover trying to find the best dog sitter/match for your furry family member. It was reading those reviews that led me to Susan. And it was Susan who absolutely saved the day for us. We had a plan that didn’t work out and suddenly needed someone we trusted in a town where we knew not a soul to care for our 3 small pups. Our smallest being a 3 pound tea cup yorkie who suffers separation anxiety when she and my mom (her human) are apart. Susan took time to meet the family and the pups. I've had critters to love and care for since I can remember - all kinds: dogs, cats, a pony, ducks, chickens, rabbits, birds, guinea pigs and fish. I worked for a vet for several years, was on the Board of my local SPCA and have rescued 3 dogs and a cat as part of our family in the past 15 years. I am at home full time now and have the whole day to tailor to the needs of the critters I care for, so even special needs are not usually a problem. I have a large fenced yard for off-leash, supervised play time and live in a forest with acres of trails for leashed walks. I have one cat at home and aim to board only ONE DOG AT A TIME (or two if they are housemates already). Your pet will stay inside my home which is a peaceful and safe environment, no small children, quiet neighbours and a husband who loves to give free belly rubs! Home 24/7 so am able to be with your pet all day and night which is especially important for little ones who aren't used to being away from home. We have a large fully fenced and large back yard in a forest-like setting and miles of trails for leash walks. About: Warning ⚠️! Your furry companion will be worn out with fun activities in my large fenced in backyard, with additional happy walks and hikes. When it's time to rest, they will enjoy relaxing in my spacious clean home with plenty of love and care. I am a stay-at-home mom with children who attend summer camps. Drop off can be as early as 7:00 a.m. and for overnight stays 6:00 p.m. Pick up times can be negotiated. Large safe neighborhood, in the heart of Independence. You can trust that I will be with your pet for most of the day and I always let the owners know if I have errands to run or appointments to attend. My children are 7 and 10 years old, they absolutely love animals. They have been educated on the proper way to approach and play with dogs and cats. At no time will the children be left with your pet alone. When my husband is in town, he arrives home around 5:45 every evening and is a big dog lover. About: I have been dog-sitting for my neighbor’s and family members for about 8 years with various breeds. I pet sit full time so I'm at your plaxe most of the day. Likely, I'll leave to workout, run errands, see friends but I will let you know if there's a particularly busy day and we'll discuss so you feel comfortable knowing your pet(s) is still being taken care of. Plenty of time to stay at your place overnight, teach fitness or clean a house then come back for quality time with your fur family. I DO NOT PROVIDE HOUSING AT MY HOME. I will gladly come to your residence and even stay overnight for your pets to alleviate any anxiety and make you and your family feel safe and at ease. References upon request. My business operates mainly by word of mouth. As of May 2021, I've worked full time as a pet sitter. To put it in perspective, I'm house/pet sitting 300/365 days of the year. About: I've taken care of many different kinds of animals for many years. I've gravitated towards animals as long as I can remember, and have always seeked experience wherever I can. I have walked, animal sat, full groomed, bathed, and more! Anything that I haven't done, I'm always willing to learn! I currently go to college and live on campus! About: I currently cannot have my own dog but I love taking care of dogs. I have been watching some family friends’ dogs taking care of them and their home while they’re on vacation. I’m currently working a job part time on the weekends but my week days are completely free because I’m a teacher who is off for the summer. I have a fenced in yard. I also do not have any pets but my boyfriend and I love dogs! We love taking care of other people’s pets because they all have different personalities!
About: I’ve walked dogs of every breed weekly for 5 years at an animal shelter, so I have lots of experience caring for and walking dogs of all shapes and sizes. I can handle large dogs and small dogs without issue, I love all dogs equally!! I was taught all the signs of dogs so I know how to read their emotions and adjust accordingly. I love to play with dogs and cuddle as well when they are up for it. My family has had a dog my whole life so I have lots of care experience. I work full time during the week (7-3), so after and before work is when I can walk or let out dogs. My weekends are completely free for boarding, walking, and sitting! I can also let dogs out on my lunch break depending on distance. I have 1 dog in my home, he is a sweetheart so no worries there! I also live alone so no issues with roomates or space. I have a yard and a dog park in my neighborhood, but it is not fenced. I pay strict attention to dogs I am watching and make sure they are always happy and healthy, I do not take my eyes off of them! I walk dogs focused with no music or phone distraction to make sure I am ready for anything, and I have handled aggressive dogs often and can adjust when needed. I always clean up if accidents happen, and I leave places better than I found them, always!
About: I have years of pet care experience. I’m great at walking dogs, playing with them, and giving them all the attention they need. I’m different from other sitters and walkers mainly because I have been around pets my whole life. I’ve even done volunteer work with both dogs and cats. I love going to the dog park when the weather is nice plus taking trips to petsmart and Petco to let my dog interact with new animals and people is fun for me. Seeing an animal grow by learning something new or just become more loving is a goal I present myself with every time I care for a dog. I’ve cared for animals so much that I even wanted to become a vet one day.
