“I had captured a stray cat and then found out she had 3 kittens. We were planning to go on vacation in October, but I desperately needed to find someone who could take care of this family. Not an easy task. I discovered Ariel through Rover. She agreed to take them. Mama kitty was still quite wild and had not been outdoors since I captured her. She was able to stay in the large dog kennel/cage in which we brought her. She stayed outside on Ariels covered porch which was perfect for her and gave her a chance to finally wean off the kittens, which was long overdue! Kittens stayed together inside her house. All of the cats were terrified at first. One kitten and Mama kitty remained fearful and would not let Ariel pet them or pick them up, but I'm happy to report this was temporary. The day we brought them home, the kittens all relaxed and began purring loudly. I was afraid that since we were gone almost 3 weeks they would all revert back being unsocialized, but that was not the case. Even wild Mama who still won't let me pet her, is relaxed and plays sometimes with kittens! I would recommend Ariel as a sitter and I am grateful she helped us be able to go on vacation.”

Fret not. I come home to see my cat out in the living room- basking in the sun, not a care in the world. She wasn’t hiding like she usually does when new people are around, no, she was purring and relaxed. When I went to pet Sister, I made a crazy discovery. Her nails? Trimmed. Her hair? Washed. Not only that, I had told Jade not to worry about the litter box since I wouldn’t be gone for long. And what did Jade do? She deep cleaned it. Deep cleaned my cat’s litter box just because. When we picked him up early, he was still playing with his new friend and didn’t seem ready to leave. He is a 50lb, year and a half old puppy with seemingly endless energy, but after picking him up he was ready to take a good nap on the car ride home. She seemed very knowledgeable about animals and animal behaviors making me confident I was leaving my pup in good hands and letting me enjoy my camping trip.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for ten years. Four of these years in veterinary medicine. I am CPR certified and have experience bathing, grooming, pet sitting, bottle feeding, medicating, and overall caring and loving and playing with animals. I work a full time job in Richmond Kentucky at an emergency clinic! I would have to schedule pick ups and drop offs but that’s the biggest part. Your dog MUST be cat friendly. If they are not, I cannot accommodate as I have four and will not risk their well-being. I don’t have a fenced in yard, so I would have to leash walk but we are on two acres. I do have a dog park about 5 minutes from my home so I could transport there and back and that park IS fenced in. I am able to feed three times a day if needed and 2-3 potty breaks! Playtime is also important so I dedicate about 10-15 minutes twice a day (morning and night) for play. We have plenty of toys as well. For cats I have a separate room of the house they can call their own so I can only accommodate one kitty at a time as I have 4 cats myself.

I have cared for fish, dogs, cats, parrots and other birds, bearded dragons, snakes, chickens, goats, bunnies, doves, mini horses, pigs, other farm animals, and other reptiles, amphibians and exotic animals. I have been offering animal care services for eight years, and I completely love and enjoy doing it. The love that animals have for humans is an incredible thing to experience. Caring for animals makes my life so much more meaningful, and I love doing it for people who need my services. Also, knowing that people need my animal care services, fulfills my passion for helping others in life. I love and enjoy being of service to others, and it makes me so happy to be able to do so. I'm currently working as an RBT (Registered Behavioral Technician) (I work with people with autism and help them better adapt to everyday life), and I work with Rover as a petsitter as well. If you contact me for a lenghty petsit, I am able to ask off work with no complications (with more than a 2 week notice), however if you are in need of a speedy petsit, I can work with your schedule (but I may have to work a few hours during the day on week days, with no complications). My Rover calender will reflect my availability will continually be updated. Please check the calender before reaching out. Thank you for your understanding. I prefer going to a client's house to take care of their animals in a familiar environment, along with a detailed list of instructions of do's and dont's for their pet. Instructions on animal care are to ensure the animal's safety when they are with me, without me needing to unnecessarily contact and bother the owner while they are away. Also, a general list of outdoor activities I can do with the pet is welcome. For example, if I can take the pet hiking, to the park, for walks, etc. Also, does your pet get along with other animals, children, or people well, and does your pet get car sick? These variables are essential information for me to know to ensure the best care while you are away. My passion is pets, and I want to ensure your pets are comfortable and safe with me, so I highly encourage more than enough information on caring for your babies. Please note if your location is 40 miles, plus, in distance from my Rover given location, I charge for milage, for the traveling/distance in the initial reservation contact message for meet and greets. I will send you a new quote to your initial request for these changes in price due to milage charges. Thank you for understanding this policy.
About: I’ve owned dogs/ cats throughout my entire life. I have a love for animals in general and spend most of my time hanging out with my own. With well over 20 years of experience with taking care of pets, I’ve also worked with a groom/ board business. I have experience in fostering rescues and have cared for multiple dogs overnight for extended amounts of time as well as administer shots and medication for both cats and dogs. I currently work part time, remotely. My schedule is very flexible so I’m able to accommodate accordingly. I am available just about any time with a few day’s notice. My dog Rivers would love to meet your pet. He also loves cats. He can come along or stay home with his best friend depending on what you’d feel most comfortable with.
About: I grew up with pets but once I moved to college in 2016 I started pet sitting often as a side gig and now I pet sit and house sit almost every other weekend for my friends who go out of town. —I’ve sat up to 3 dogs before -from pop ins to 10 day long house/pet sittings -from rescued dogs to puppies -pet sat cats too I work for a ministry on UK’s campus so I have flexible hours. I do not have any set days or times but am willing to pick up help when needed with enough notice! I do whatever is most comfortable for the owners! I crate when needed or snuggle them when they need it! I’m ready to take them on walks or let them run around outside!

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was a little girl and I’ve always loved it! I’ve always had dogs(puppies-senior) I’ve had rabbits and cats and a horse too I’m a full time stay at home mom, so I have plenty of time to have the animals outside to play and use the bathroom. I have two dogs myself, they get fed every morning and treats throughout the day (my kids love giving treats) they always have food and water available My dogs roam free since they know the property, but my whole back yard is fenced in. When I leave my house, my dogs stay inside and roam the house freely
