Lola is older and requires medication and some other specific things, and Kathy was on top of everything and gave me updates and photos every day. I knew that lola was in good hands and didn’t have to worry for a second about her. I could tell that lola was very loved and taken care of while she stayed there. Kathy even put a rug down prior to Lola’s stay because she immediately noticed during our Meet & Greet that lola would have trouble with the hard floor - such a sweet animal lover! Highly recommend and will be rebooking in the future 😊”

About: I have taken care of animals since I was a little girl. Not only did I take care of them, but I researched everything to make sure they had the best life imaginable. I've raised all kinds of dogs from small to large dog breeds, cats, and many other animals. Currently, I have my Rottweiler named Hemi, who is the biggest baby who loves giving hugs and tilting his head on command! As a teacher, my summer schedule is wide open! I'm willing to work every other week and even the weekends on those week. I'll be able to devote my entire day to your pet. In your home, you can expect an honest and trustworthy person to come in and follow any directions that you provide. You will also get updates unless requested otherwise.

I still care for my childhood Dachshund and currently have a Belgian Shepherd, which has given me strong experience with daily routines, training basics, exercise needs, and attentive care. I treat every pet as if they were my own and focus on keeping them safe, comfortable, and happy while their owners are away. Pet care is my full time job, so it’s fully built into my daily and weekly routine. This allows me to dedicate my time and attention to each pet’s individual needs, whether that’s walks, feedings, playtime, medications, or just extra companionship. Since this is what I do every day, I have a flexible schedule and plenty of availability to provide reliable, consistent care and give your pets the attention they deserve. I prioritize safety, trust, and comfort in both my home and my clients’ homes. I carefully follow all instructions, maintain clean environments, secure doors and gates, and closely monitor pets to ensure they feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for at all times.

About: I have experience working at a doggy daycare and boarding. There I have learned how to bathe, nail trim, read body language, and deeply care about these furry friends. I worked with all kinds of dogs, ranging in size/breed and age. I also have owned dogs my whole life, as have my friends, which I pet sit for frequently. I can pills dogs and disperse ear medication. My availability is fairly open. I can be more specific with the pet parents as we connect, in order to find something that works great for both of us. I do not offer services within my home, as I live in an apartment downtown. However I will follow any instructions given diligently. I have experience in reading dog's body language, which will give me insight into what I need to do and how to keep the pup safe.

About: I’ve always had multiple dogs and cats in my home, until I retired and moved here. I want to be able to nurture and care for your pet, as either a sitter, or for boarding in my home. They would have my full attention, and be spoiled. I’m retired, and home most days/nights. I can give your pet my full attention, either by sitting or boarding in my home. Usually available on short notice. I don’t have any animals in the home. I don’t have a fence, but have a large yard in a rural area, distant from any busy roads. Would always accompany them closely when outdoors. The animals would have free roam of my home, including furniture and beds.

I grew up wanting to be a vet (until I realized I'd have to put animals down) and decided to just take care of them myself in my own home! :) In college, I actually specialized in canine genetics if that tells you anything about my obsession.
