Through Rover, I’m excited to not only help others, but also to find fulfillment spending time with pets. Although I work a 9-5, I am willing to make plenty of time before or after work to accommodate your needs. I am a morning person, so I would be more than happy to take your dog on an early morning walk or be there to let them out. I also will be able to take care of them in the afternoon. My weekends are free to help at any time. You can trust me with your pet because I treat animals with the same amount of respect that I’d treat any person. It is my priority to ensure their safety while also having fun. I would love to take them on walks at the park and am open to having them at my apartment if needed.
About: Experience with dogs of all ages, sizes and temperaments. Have owned as many as 5 at one time, as well as fostering dogs, cats and kittens, including a special needs beagle with degenerative myelopathy (he had a cool wheelchair :) . I love them all and will care for them like they are my own. I will scratch and play and provide belly rubs on command. If I sit for your dog in my home, my cat, Frankie, will just roll her eyes and move on :) I am happy to work with the schedule you prefer for your furry kids, even if it's not the same as mine. About: I’ve always had a dog growing up, our family dog recently just died of old age.. and think it’s probably to soon to get another dog so we’re going to take baby steps. I’m currently working part time, I have a 4 year old son who loves animals so feel it would be great to take on pet sitting part time.. My name is Keith and I share a home with my wife, Natalie; our 4-year-old Irish Wolfhound, Bernie, and our 6-year-old daughter, who has grown up loving and being around dogs. The home has a large, fully fenced-in yard with plenty of room for dogs to run, play, explore, or just lounge outside. Inside, the home is completely dog-friendly—couches, furniture, snuggles and all! I want your dog to feel like they’re staying with family rather than being boarded. One of the biggest benefits of staying here is that someone is almost always home. I work from home 90% of the time and the whole family is home on the weekends, so your pup will get plenty of attention, supervision, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. They won’t spend their stay sitting alone for hours. Having an Irish Wolfhound has also given me plenty of experience with large and giant breeds, but I genuinely love dogs of all sizes and personalities. I understand how stressful it can be to leave your dog with someone new, so my goal is to follow their normal routine as closely as possible and make them feel safe, comfortable, loved, and included while they’re here. I also have a sweet 4-year-old Irish Wolfhound named Bernie who is very much part of our family. About: I worked in an overnight pet facility called Pet Station Country Club for close to a year as a part of the overnight team. From around 7pm to 6am I would have personal watch of dozens of pets including cats and dogs, and was in charge of giving them medications and potty breaks. I am also Pet Tech CPR and First Aid certified, so I can give medical attention to your pet in an emergency. I have grown up around all kinds of cats, dogs, rabbits and chickens, and love pets! I am a full time student undergoing my junior year at University of Louisville, but am free multiple times during the day to check in on pets as I live within 5 minutes of campus. My evenings are free, and I have no prior commitments. The townhome I stay in has a fenced in yard and is incredibly close to University's campus, meaning it is a safe environment for walks and care.
