Shunita was great and flexible in allowing us to come and pick them up at the end of our night so we didn’t need to leave them overnight. They were kept in kennels but Shunita said she lets them out every 2-3 hours to play in the back yard and go potty. Our puppies are on the larger size and not used to being kenneled or separated so, in the future, I will likely look for someone that allows them to join into a family atmosphere where they can roam & play freely. A smaller or older dog w/lower energy would do great, or a dog that’s used to being in a kennel. (That’s just a preference thing for the current puppies we have.) Shunita was very nice and made me feel relaxed and comfortable in leaving our puppies for the day.”

She changed her preference to be willing to board. My pup is not an easy one to get along with strangers. When I brought Buddy over there, he immediately took to Tammy and started to explore the house and then the fenced backyard. Tammy was so taken with buddy and he took right to her. About: Hi! I am a very loving, caring, enthusiastic animal friend. I have been a pet mom myself for over 20 years, having had the pleasure of caring for dogs, cats, turtles, snakes, and birds. I worked as a veterinary assistant/pet nurse for almost 10 years, where I fulfilled all duties from surgery assistant to boarding kennel attendant. In addition, I have taken care of many animals in their homes for their owners. I can handle many 'extras,' including bathing, nail trims, gland expression, and I am willing and able to medicate pets, orally or through injection (in cases such as a diabetic pets). I consider myself to be a responsible (and fun!) caretaker. I will treat your pets the way I treat my own babies.
About: My beloved family dog passed away right before COVID and left a animal shaped hole in my heart. I’ve been watching dogs ever since and love enjoying all their different personalities. If you’re looking for someone to absolutely love on your pet, I’m your gal. I’m extremely flexible and understand that everyone prefers to raise their pets differently and I will respect all those needs during my time with your pet. I am open to most any accommodations needed. I love going on walks, runs, and hikes with the active dogs but I also LOVE being cozy in the house with sleepier pets. At the end of the day I’m just a girl that wants to love on your pet as much as you do! I am a local graphic designer. I have the convenient ability to work from home when desired so my weekday and weekend schedule is flexible. I live in a home without a fenced in backyard but am in walking distance to a park. I do live with my boyfriend and he is always begging me to watch more dogs so he will provide extra EXTRA loving on top of my own. As for house sitting I always respect your space and always try to leave it better than when I came.
About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and have been pet sitting dogs and cats since my early teens. I have experience caring for pets of all ages and medical needs, including diabetic dogs requiring insulin injections, blind dogs, pets with seizures, and dogs with mobility and potty issues. I’m comfortable administering medications and providing extra patience and attention to senior pets or those needing specialized care. I’ve also fostered dogs and cats through my local shelter, caring for everything from puppies and kittens learning the ropes to senior dogs needing diapers and additional support. My experience fostering has helped me become adaptable, calm, and attentive to each pet’s unique personality and needs. I currently have two dogs of my own, Murphy and Lucky, they are my whole heart and I love every pet I care as if they were part of my family. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine because I work overnight shifts from 9pm–5am, Monday-Friday, which gives me a flexible daytime schedule. I’m able to adjust my sleep schedule as needed, so I have plenty of availability for walks, drop-ins, feeding schedules, medication administration, playtime, and overnight care. In my home, I do my best to create a safe and comfortable environment where pets can feel relaxed, cared for, and entertained. I have a fully fenced-in yard that backs up to a park, which gives dogs plenty of space for supervised outdoor time, play, and exercise. I also have a separate guest room available if an owner prefers their pet to have their own quiet space during their stay with us. I understand that every pet has different routines and comfort levels, so I try to keep their schedule as consistent as possible with feeding times, potty breaks, walks, medications, playtime, and rest. I’m happy to accommodate senior pets, puppies, and pets with medical or mobility needs. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure they feel comfortable in their familiar environment while keeping up with their normal routine and giving them plenty of attention, affection, and companionship. I always treat both pets and homes with respect and care, and I know how important communication and reliability are while you’re away from your pets. I love to send parent’s updates on their babies and we can work out details on how frequently you would like pictures sent!

About: Hi! My name is Emm! I am a queer and queer-friendly person and active in my community. I have taken care of animals since I was 8. I raised puppies, walked massive dobermans, and at one point took care of 13 dogs at once! Feeding, watering, cleaning up after, walking, and loving your pet like you would are my top priorities. About: Hi! Megan & Logan here! We have two dogs (Winston & Louie) who run the show. Logan works from home Monday through Friday and I am home each night. We have a fenced in yard that our dogs love to play fetch and chase the soccer ball in. We will love your pups as our own!
