“Thank you so much! This was our first experience using Rover and overall, it was a good one. Shunita was great and flexible in allowing us to come and pick them up at the end of our night so we didn’t need to leave them overnight. They were kept in kennels but Shunita said she lets them out every 2-3 hours to play in the back yard and go potty. Our puppies are on the larger size and not used to being kenneled or separated so, in the future, I will likely look for someone that allows them to join into a family atmosphere where they can roam & play freely. A smaller or older dog w/lower energy would do great, or a dog that’s used to being in a kennel. (That’s just a preference thing for the current puppies we have.) Shunita was very nice and made me feel relaxed and comfortable in leaving our puppies for the day.”

“Tammy was a godsend. We discussed how we were going to handle buddy because the alternatives were way too expensive. She offered to board buddy, even though she was not listed for boarding on Rover. She changed her preference to be willing to board. My pup is not an easy one to get along with strangers. When I brought Buddy over there, he immediately took to Tammy and started to explore the house and then the fenced backyard. Tammy was so taken with buddy and he took right to her. She sent me cute photos of him during his stay. Because of her obvious bonding and care for buddy allowed me to enjoy my trip with no anxiety. If I ever have to board buddy again, I will certainly request Tammy if her schedule allows it. I would highly recommend her for caring for your pet.”

About: I have taken care of dogs all my life I was raised with Japanese and American Akita’s. I have been the family dog sitter since i was 7 this is my passion. I am currently working from home and have more than enough time to walk, play, feed, and care for your dog as I do my own. I have a fenced yard and a nice clean home to care for your dog, and a quiet neighborhood were i can walk your dog close to park and walking trails.
About: My beloved family dog passed away right before COVID and left a animal shaped hole in my heart. I’ve been watching dogs ever since and love enjoying all their different personalities. If you’re looking for someone to absolutely love on your pet, I’m your gal. I’m extremely flexible and understand that everyone prefers to raise their pets differently and I will respect all those needs during my time with your pet. I am open to most any accommodations needed. I love going on walks, runs, and hikes with the active dogs but I also LOVE being cozy in the house with sleepier pets. I have the convenient ability to work from home when desired so my weekday and weekend schedule is flexible. I live in a home without a fenced in backyard but am in walking distance to a park. I do live with my boyfriend and he is always begging me to watch more dogs so he will provide extra EXTRA loving on top of my own. As for house sitting I always respect your space and always try to leave it better than when I came.
About: Hi! I am a very loving, caring, enthusiastic animal friend. I have been a pet mom myself for over 20 years, having had the pleasure of caring for dogs, cats, turtles, snakes, and birds. I worked as a veterinary assistant/pet nurse for almost 10 years, where I fulfilled all duties from surgery assistant to boarding kennel attendant. In addition, I have taken care of many animals in their homes for their owners. I can handle many 'extras,' including bathing, nail trims, gland expression, and I am willing and able to medicate pets, orally or through injection (in cases such as a diabetic pets). About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 16, I’ve worked in several animal hospitals. With the knowledge I’ve learned from working there, I am a great option from all other sitters. I’ve also worked at Chewy Pharmacy, a pet pharmacy. I learned a lot about pet medication of all kind. I currently dog walk as a side job. In the very near future, I want to make this a full time job. I am up before the sun rises and am not done until the moon has completely risen, so I have plenty of time to take care of pets. I take them out to potty at least four times a day. I feed them twice a day. With pets, I also work on weight management, weighing them once a week. I also walk them at least 3 times a day.

Daisy can be hard to handle during thunderstorms and with strangers, but Missy was able to calm her enough to get her to her house and keep her for the rest of my trip. About: Hi! Megan & Logan here! We have two dogs (Winston & Louie) who run the show. Logan works from home Monday through Friday and I am home each night. We have a fenced in yard that our dogs love to play fetch and chase the soccer ball in. We will love your pups as our own!
